I think we should give Wiz a chance to edit the "diabolical plan." We have learned that none of the vampires can get up there. Personally, i don't see the logic in Hive having humans manning a the laser in some kind of space station. It could totally be an unmanned thing, which would make a lot more sense.

we may however have enough vampires with appropriate abilities to get into a Hive base on earth.

It's currently manned for two reasons.

One it's currently still under construction, while in a operational state it's kinda looking like the Death Star II.
The second is that it can act as a secondary base of operations should one be needed.

@thewizardguy

You misunderstand. Say Victor is going all sneaky like through the tunnel, the sensors will detect him and activate the laser grind for the corridor.

You should also take note that you are attacking an underground city about the same size as New York but more biodomey, which has 32 non-renewable power stations. Meaning that simply cutting off one power cable won't knock out the entire grind and will definitely, if you hadn't already trigger a mass lockdown.
okay we got the people. lets start this party.

I'll post the official OOC tomorrow after work.
Soooooo tempted.

However, rolling entire armies or as individual characters could be a bit jarring.

I will wait and see how the OOC develops before formally throwing my hat in the ring!

Rolling out armies shouldn't be that hard. As for combat, remember that to win the war you must sometimes lose a few battles.
@thewizardguy

I was only using the viral detector as an example, but HIVE already has technology that can say who is a vampire and who isn't remotely. As Wraith, who came up with the idea originally in the chat and I discussed. Adam was going to show this off to prove the validity of the plan.

As for the main base which being in the middle of a flat wasteland in a yet unspecified location in the UK, armies will find it hard to stealthily approach the base.

@BurningCold

The corridors are something like this. residentevilsac.com.br/wp-content/uplo... All directions will have a light source in the entrance mainly due to scanning and decontamination procedures.

However vampires and humans alike are welcome to have a meeting in which they will have to be injected with a small device into their body. media.liveauctiongroup.net/i/9378/1038..
Nicely donated by the Yamada Corporation.
But doesn't Victor need to touch an adjacent shadow, also it would be hard to cut the power off a station that would have sub reactors not to mention constantly aligns itself with the sun so the cannon can charge.

There's still a few twists and turns with HIVE that remain to be seen. As for a direct vampire assault on the Citadel would be foolish due to such tech like this. prototype.wikia.com/wiki/Viral_Detectors.

I'll also have to draw a blueprint of how the base works, but in short there is only one door in and out that goes down into an elevator with said detectors. And not to mention hospital like white bright corridors and such, but we can work something out if you'd like.
Fire the cannons! (That means I'm interested.)
Claiming Squats I mean what was that. >.> <.<

Tempted to roll with an Order of Sisters, but we'll see how things turn out.

...Although technically wouldn't that be a third civil war? Or does the Age of Apostasy not count anymore? XD

When I was putting this up in my head I couldn't remember if there had already been two, I thought there had been but I took a gamble. But never mind war is war.
@Slendy Victor is gonna be pissed when he finds out that Sam ditched.

*Places arms on Victor's shoulders.*
Need someone to comfit Victor?
The New Millennium has risen and the tide of Chaos has ripped apart the barriers between their realm and mankind’s. The Imperium are on the verge of collapse, a second civil war is almost certain. But where will you and your race stand when the rivers run red with blood?

This is just a quick intro and interest check for those who’d like to be part of Warhammer 40k (41k) where it takes place somewhere in the early 41st Millennium. You will be able to control entire armies of any of the canon factions from Chaos, Imperium up to the Tau and Nids. Or you can solo as your own character such as an Inquisitor attempting to stamp out heresy.
