@Lmpkio I mean it'd work as a boss fight like in the game, but idk how it'd work as a character. Though if I was able to play a monster from that series it'd totally be the Tigrex. Actually, I do love the Rathalos.
Nobody could do his character justice, he's too complex and deep for us to understand.
Woo! Still have no idea who I'm going to be! I'm going to avoid monster hunter cus that'd just be such an obvious choice for me.
Would I be able to get a spot in this here RP?
Nero Dimerous

Age: 20

Appearance:

Nero is a leanly built man standing at 5’9 and weighing a decent 180lbs. Nero will often be seen with a stupid smirk on his face, his lips being outlined by short well trimmed beard that leads into equally clean sideburns. His short brown is always well gelled into a spiked style in an attempt to draw attention away from his massive forehead. Nero’s eyes are a pretty emerald green colour.

Personality:

Nero’s an ass plain and simple. He almost never misses a chance to make snide remarks or insult those around him. He does it just so nobody gets close to him, he knows what him and his siblings are meant to do and doesn’t want to form any attachments that might lead to sadness, killing the world is dangerous work.

Despite his abrasive exterior he is a dependable person, always being where you need him when you need him, whether you want him there is another question. He’s that guy you can depend on but don’t actually want to. He always tells himself to not form attachments and that he’s protecting everyone so that they don’t have to mourn each other.

Even deeper down Nero is a bit of a softie. He hides that he cares again so that the others don’t get too close to him, sure they had fun as kids but now was when things were going to change and Nero changed in preparation. At least he tells himself that he changed, but deep down he’s still the little brother who keeps very an eye out on his siblings.

God:

Deamis:
Yaatra is the charlatan Deamis king of deceit. Yaatra weaves lies and puts on disguise in order to get what he wants, and for the most part that’s the eyes of mortal men. Though he has his fun first, killing and replacing their dogs, slowly leaking bits of information to the victim until they are able to figure out that their pet isn’t actually their pet anymore. It’s at this moment that he reveals himself, remaining motionless until the victim looks at him. When they set their eyes on him he slowly turns his head to face them, waiting until eye contact is made before he removes their eyes and kills them. Yaatra doesn’t indulge in such things now and rules over his domain, the shifting city. The buildings in this city are constantly moving and changing swapping rooms with neighboring buildings while also moving to a new position altogether.

Abilities:

How abilities work;

[Insert Ability Name Here] - [Place a 0 - 8 here for an upgrade] - [Element and God or Deamis] so it should look like this

Scarlet Blast - 0 - Dark Deamis [the 0 emphasizes you have no Upgrades and your ability will be at its standard base power. Any additional upgrades will add 5 to your base]

Abilities will need;

-Range
-Detail - if you have super strength you have to tell me at what limit. Is it you can stop a moving truck or lift the equivaleRelationships:

This is the part that allows me to gauge whether or not you are actually engaging with the members of this RP. This RP lives or dies with the efforts of the members. I can write amazing set pieces, but that’s not going to do much good without members.

In this section you will write

[Insert name] - [your standing with them]
[and a brief description of your relationship with them]

That looks like

Meredith - Good Standing
Meredith the only one of the group that truly understood Scarlet. The two have seen playing and training together the most. It was when Meredith took a hit for Scarlet that cemented their friendship.

If you have regenerative abilities, at what rate, at what limit. Be specific. No vague “she turns invisible” okay great that tells me so much and allows me to write challenges in this RP.
-Weaknesses - all abilities have weaknesses

2 God Powers, 1 Deamis Power for now.

No reviving from the dead abilities and instant healing, thank you
Outsider & Sylph
Collab between @LemonZest1337 & @yoshua171

The tension going out of him as the villain escaped, and was then surreptitiously crashed into by a car, Outsider cast out his senses, then turned. That was Sylph, wasn’t it? That silhouette, cast by the mass of bioelectricity throughout her body, made dimmer all the more apparent by her metallic flesh.

“You alright,” he queried, his voice hollow, if still clearly concerned. He kept his attention split between her and Eyeblight, though he never lost awareness of their surroundings.

Sylph stumbled along still very disoriented from her crash landing, as she shambled along rubbing her shoulder she saw the massive form of Outsider. Her gaze followed him until he’d landed down and started doing battle with Eyeblight, but the moment Eyeblight was visible Silvia felt the fear take hold again and quickly averted her eyes.

What was she supposed to do? Just looking at this monster made her so terrified she couldn’t do anything except cower. It was then that Sylph would notice Eyeblight’s deranged cackling moving further away, she took this opportunity to look back around only seeing Outsider. ”I-II-I-I think so…” Silvia’s wind barrier finally kicked on as she took deep breaths to try and calm herself. ”What h-happened to the villain?” Silvia asked, looking around at the sky when she heard the sound of a helicopter in the distance.

He nodded his head, “That’s good.” Pausing he waited a moment and then responded, turning his head away from her and in Eyeblight’s direction, “Got distracted by my ambush and got blindsided by a speeding car.” He gestured with a finger, “He’s somewhere in that direction.”

Pausing a moment he frowned, “He’s more difficult to track than most people, what with his body being made from straw. The electricity where his body is is different from the ambient electrical energy in the air, but still. I mostly have to operate with my hearing, which isn’t bad...but, well.” He paused, charging additional kinetic energy, “It’s harder.”

Considering possibilities given the fact that Sylph couldn’t look at Eyeblight directly, Outsider fell silent.

Sylph looked in the direction Outsider pointed and shivered a little, how was she going to help if she’d just turn into a useless wreck whenever she saw Eyeblight? She could close her eyes but that would mean she’d not know where they were. She could just let Outsider take care of them because they seemed unfazed by their encounter. But the helicopter. If that thing flew too close and the pilot saw eyeblight, then they would crash just like she’d done. There was plenty of death and chaos going on at the moment, and a crashing helicopter would only server to increase the body count.

”You s-s-seem to be able to deal with him, but what a-about that helicopter that’s coming? You’ve got to divert it or ground it, if it flies too close to that thing, it’ll crash for s-sure. I doubt I-I could safely ground it...” Sylph’s was still obviously shaken.

“I doubt they’d react too well to my form either, but I can certainly guide them elsewhere. Will you be alright for a minute while I take care of that?” He shifted in the air, ‘swimming so he faced partially upwards, before turning back to ‘look’ in her direction.

”Y-yes I think I can.” Sylph knew she’d at least be able to distract the scarecrow to give Outsider time to deal with the helicopter, though she still didn’t know all the things this villain was capable of. Either way she’d be helping save more people even if she did get hurt, so it would be worth it.

“Alright, hang in there, I’ll keep an....” he trailed off, realizing the phrase wasn’t terribly applicable, “Yeah, I’ll be back.” That said he turned and flew, accelerating all at once and then gradually as he climbed towards the helicopter. All the while he kept his attention split, paying mind to Eyeblight and Sylph’s location in addition to the helicopter and its trajectory. It was high enough that buildings weren’t much of an issue if it dipped a little. He aimed to fly one hundred or so feet ahead of it, far enough that it would be able to slow down. He knew his voice--as loud as it could get--would be inaudible due to the propeller. He was going to have a hard time communicating anything particularly complex.

That in mind, he kept things simple, gesturing they redirect away from the area. Making it clear they should fly away. If they tried to move closer he’d stay in their way while avoiding the propeller. If needed he could easily move the helicopter independent of its own propeller and engine. If that’s what it took, he’d do it.

Sylph stood still briefly as she watched Outsider fly off before walking into the most open area she could, hoping that Eyeblight would come back and attack her. Hopefully she would be able to handle his attacks long enough, though she also needed to keep eye contact to a minimum. As far as she knew all this villain could do was terrify you just by you looking at him, that and that he was made of straw.

Name: Jenny Kami | Race: Lao Shan-Lung

Appearance:

Jenny is a very... Large girl, standing around 19.6 meters tall and possibly still growing. She has a long plated tail that drags along the floor behind her and has a pair bright red of horns (I know a Lao Shan-Lung should have more of them and them be set out differently but I just couldn't manage to find a picture I liked or was appropriate for the site.) that only add to her height. Her hands are armed with rather sharp claws and covered in thick red scales that extend up most of her arm cutting off just before the shoulders. Some of these scales can also be found on her cheeks and neck. Jenny has bright red eyes and extremely long grey hair that goes past her waist.

Otherwise, the rest of Jenny features are that of a generously proportioned girl, yeah really generously.

Personality: Jenny is a very shy girl, not having much experience with other people and the little experience does have is mostly her being looked at. She understands that there aren't many giant monster girls but she still gets super embarrassed when people stare at her. She often curses her size for the attention it brings and how it makes a lot of doors a pain to get through. She absolutely adores food and often lowers her defences when she's eating, becoming a lot more relaxed and happy.

Jenny also constantly worries about where she steps and tries her very best not to be clumsy and to get in the way, but when she does cause someone trouble she is quick to apologies and makes up for her mistake. Deep down she does want to have some friends but for the most part, has been far too shy to try and approach people, so she's fairly used to being lonely (not that she likes it). It is very hard to properly anger Jenny though if you do want to drive her mad, messing with people she cares about is a quick way to enrage her. And if you're looking to make her red as her scales yanking her tail is the way to get it done (Though you'd have to yank that tail pretty hard). Most things like spilling food on her or insulting Jenny will mostly result in her apologizing or retreating away to somewhere private, she's not got very thick skin when it comes to insults.

Callsign: 2ND-SK1N Fire support power armor | Type: Power Armor

Appearance:

Loadout/abilities:

Twin beam cannons: The suit itself has a pair of high power high accuracy beam cannons on the back, the shots from these cannons are devastating, though they are useless at close range because the armour has to set up into a "firing mode" which makes the pilot immobile, it does this to help with the great knockback these cannons produce when fired. Another reason its boor for close quarters is the slow aim speed and charge time, taking a good few seconds to charge up its shots. They also have a minute-long cool down after being shot as to avoid overheating.

Light shield generator: A weak personal shield that can take a few solid hits before fading. Only meant to deflect a few necromorph scratches before going to recharge.

Rocket boots: Used to enhance jumps or for flight through space. Has a myriad of assisting mini jets around the suit to assist with steering in space, but are too weak to be useful in atmosphere.

Writing preference: Casual
