Name:
Jorn 'Redman' Reed

Gender:
Male

Age:
53

Rank:
Beta

Trade:
Leatherworker/Skinner

Personality:

Jorn is well known as being a blunt, but honest man. He's never one to turn down another in need, but he will give you an earful along with that assistance. But, despite his wizened exterior, he's a softie for the young pups of the pack. Truth is, he's never sired his own child, and therefor makes it up by playing a father figure to wayward runts and the betrodden. Yet, despite his willingness to help, he has short fuse for the disrespectful, often adopting a firm hand in most situations where this arises.

History:
Once belonging to a rather small pack a little further south, Jorn was born to Beta mates, ultimately becoming a beta himself. When the Alpha of the pack unfortunately passed, he and a rival Beta stepped up to assume the mantle as the pack's new Alpha. Though it was a hard fought competition, the rival bested Jorn, and ostracized the now broken and weary combatant. Now alone and dishonored, Jorn would find himself traveling northward; with no other purpose seeming left for him. He had no mate, no pups, nor any reason to continue his journey, aside from his own want to survive. This journey took the better part of a decade, but ultimately ended upon reaching the Blue Ridge pack. Faithfully has he served his new community for years now, and he doesn't see any end in sight.

Extra:
While often reserved when speaking to older lycans, many pups see Jorn as an uncle or father figure. As such, he's been prone to gifting the pups out of the kindness of his heart, though disciplining them if their parents fail to do so as well. He is also no stranger to combat, though his mentality is to out maneuver and put his opponents in a position of disadvantage. This, however, can be overcome if his foe is mindful of his actions, making it a much more even combat.
Grand Cathedral, Varrus

"You wanted to see, Grand Master?" A humble yet defiant tone rang out from the entrance to the Lady's quarters. Without waiting for greeting, a well armored youth could be seen entering the chambers and shutting the door behind himself. It had been only a short while since her missive had reached him in the courtyard; the young lord set on seeing his troops drilled by his second in command, Roark. Though chosen by his farther, Varrus had a great respect for the man's military prowess and his ability to inspire fear in those who looked upon him as an enemy. It was this same man that now stood on the other side of the door, ensuring that no one was able to interrupt the meeting.

"I take it you've found another use for my soldiers, aside from using them as token body guards," One would think Varrus was speaking to an equal by the tone of voice he used, cutting all forms of pleasantries while diving into the heart of the matter, "I'm ready to serve the church in whatever manner it sees fit, my Lady." With that, the man now stood at attention, his arms folded behind his back and head bowed in a show of humility... Or at least the facade of humility. 'I didn't volunteer to have my men simply dawdle about the cathedral,' the silent thought echoing within the man's mind as his eyes opened and his gaze set upon the woman.

"Hmph... Seems the boy is agitated. Fool's going to get himself shipped back home at this rate," Roark stated under his breath, rolling his massive shoulders before returning his hands to the haft of his axe. The guards at the entrance to the cathedral attempted to take it from it... Or at least tried to work up enough nerve to attempt to. Instead, they merely cut their eyes to the mountain of a man and remained silent as he passed. It was humorous to see the peons before him cower at the sight of him, but he'd stay his hand... For now at least. If things didn't get rolling soon however, he might just have to cause a scene. A dark and bloody scene. Still, the boy was summoned to the Grand Master's chambers for a reason. Perhaps he'd see his axe quenched soon enough.

Having freed himself from the stinging of the flames, a rather familiar -if not excruciating- noise resounded upon the roof. "If it's not one thing, it's another... And RETINA is still down." Shaking his head in dismay, he'd look down at the extinguisher in his hands... And a plan slowly started to formulate. With renewed vigor, Vex would sprint back up to the roof; dodging in and around his allies as he drew near Thrash. In one swift movement, he'd bring up the fire extinguisher before the 'Bitch's' face and pierce it with his blade. As the vessel ruptured, a thick cloud of white smoke would begin building up around the two. The heavy concentration of CO2 would make it hard for any human's lungs to function properly-not to mention the smoke making it harder to see... However, Vex's enhancements saw to it that he would be unaffected by the smoke.

Status: Vex is currently Staggered (-2 Defense)
Vex is currently Bleeding (+10% damage from all sources)
Vex is currently Disturbed (-1 Defense)
Vex is currently Fatigued (No energry regen for a round, cannot trigger RETINA)
Vex is currently Downbeat (-1 Defense, -1 Attack)

Action: Vex uses fire extinguisher to hinder Thrash's preformance
*grabs camera* Wait... Not yet? Damn... *puts camera away*
I'm still here. Waiting for updates.
@Crimson Raven

Go ahead and pm me your cs, and we'll talk about it. I was planning on canon characters being npcs, but we can discuss it.
Nope.@Cyrania
I reserve the right to die post last. >.>
@Apollosarcher

By the by, still here. Just waiting.
Well, it's your choice. I won't get mad if you do introduce cannon characters, mainly because this is your RP, lol.
...
though, I do have an idea... perhaps you can have players go through support conversations via PM, or something. Just so we have support conversations, I dunno, feel free to completely ignore this part.

I'm always open to suggestions. This is my first RP that I'm GMing, and I know it could be better. If you wish to have support conversations in PM, that's fine- no prob. Figure it's more player preference at that point. Or you can act it out in the RP, I won't complain either way... Until you post a XXX setting, then I might point you over to the PMs.
