Plot and Setting
You've applied for a job with Blackfield Supernatural Consulting, a firm you've never heard of and are unable to find any records for. Supposedly they hunt down monsters and deal with other similar issues. Think something like a mashup of the Ghostbusters, early seasons of Supernatural, and the X Files. Your team will get cases and have to deal with the problem, whether through violence or intelligence is up to you.
The RP takes place in an alternate universe where magic and the supernatural is real but hidden, so human history is basically the same as our world. HOWEVER, the general public doesn't know or believe that magic or the supernatural is real. The firm will expect a certain amount of discretion. The RP will mostly take place in the continental United States, at least for the foreseeable future.
Characters
I'm only looking for up to 4 (four) characters. I'll go by first come first serve, so first four full character sheets get the spots.
As I mention in the CS, you must tell what your character's past experience with the supernatural is and why they applied with Blackfield. Additionally, they MUST believe in the supernatural. Sorry, but no skeptical Scully characters. Other then that though, just about any type of character is welcome. Hunters, scientists, priests, college students, etc etc. A wide variety of characters is preferred!
A small warnings. I have a tendency to write a lot. I really enjoy creating backgrounds and worldbuilding in general, so my posts tend to be on the longer side. I don't expect entire essays per post, but please no single line posts.
Please feel free to bring up any questions, comments, or concerns! I'll answer to the best of my ability.

So would anyone be interested in a supernatural RP where your job is deal with supernatural and otherworldly problems? I'd say the easiest way to describe what I have in mind is a mix between the tv shows Supernatural and the X-Files. You're sent to deal with cases of supernatural/otherworldly disturbances in a quick but quiet fashion.
I'll accept all kinds of characters from hunters to former holy men to college students looking for a job. The only requirement would be that they believe in the supernatural and have had some kind of personal experience.
I can elaborate some more in anyone wants. Feel free to ask questions and what not below!

”Mr. Minsky, I do have medical records on board for everyone on the crew. All records can be accessed in the medical bay on the ship. I feel that going through everyone’s individualized records over the speaker will take longer then we have, however I can give a quick run down of the tests and examinations that were performed. In order administered: Physical examination, physical stress test, blood and urine tests, and numerous body and brain scans such as ultrasound, x-ray, and MRI. The physical examination and stress test took place prior to cryostasis. During cryostasis and following the tests mentioned before, brain activity and nutrition, blood, and oxygen levels were all monitored and adjustments were made to ensure optimal conditions.”

Alright guys, since we've all posted at least once, we can get a move on towards the first mission. IC you can have your characters finish what they're doing but at some point they need to acknowledge ANDI's latest announcement. Unless someone directly addresses ANDI, I won't be posting until we're all back in the Bridge. From there we'll be going into the mission.
