Mikey decided to answer Moses first. "I haven't a clue on where we are." He turned to the other girl. "Hi."

Moses pondered a moment. It was clear the being didn't speak GUT. That means he's probably not an offworlder. She thought. I'll have to look elsewhere for a ship.
If the being didn't speak GUT then Moses was hard pressed for other languages. She only knew her native Sioushan, GUT, and some Terran. She would have to go for the long shot and hope that the strange reptile somehow knew Terran.
"Will you speak English?" She asked, hoping she was speaking correctly, the Terran tenses always confused her.

Mikey looked at her. "Yes." He said.

"So, I guess you don't know where we are either?" Mortimer was simultaneously happy that the boy didn't react to his appearance and crestfallen that he wasn't a local. His grin became a little more genuine for the other, but he ran a hand through the back of his curls in distress and sighed through his nose. Really, the only thing worse than being stranded on an active volcano was being stranded in the Artic.

After several minutes of walking Moses was beginning to think that this place was uninhabited. There were some forested areas in the distance, but otherwise she had yet to see any significant signs of life. Until she rounded a corner and saw a humanoid reptile with a large shell and orange wraps. He must be one of the native here. She thought. Or if I'm lucky, an offworlder with a ship.
She approached him slowly, a hand raised and spoke in the Galactic Universal Tongue.
"Ozkito do. Alia auo rai?"

A girl came up to him and spoke in a language he didn't understand. "Hmm?" Mikey said.

The amphibian-like mutant dipped his doo-rag into the salty, cool ocean water and wiped the perspiration on his forehead with an elbow as he rung it out.

Honestly, where the hell was he? Despite the ever-flowing lava, the island seemed safe enough--or at least, nothing remotely sentinel-like had rounded the corner and squashed him under its metal feet. His only hope was that he was on Kilauea or something remotely civilized, in which case he could break into some poor, coconut-sucking flatscanner's condo without being seen and borrow the phone, see if any of his "friends" could offer a lift back to Berlin.

He tied the dampened bandanna around his forehead and pulled the curls through the open end, sighed as he wadded further into the sea. His tender back was feeling better the more he walked (he'd been up and about for about 20 minutes or so, trying to round the island) and the salt water was speeding up his healing factor, with any luck he'd be able fight or take flight if any danger presented itself.

Speaking of which--what did Toynbee spy with his froggy eyes? An auburn-haired boy, appearing in his later teens, either a homo sapien or passable as human.

Now, if that was a human, Mort would probably be met with hostility upon being spotted. That was nothing new, and with his legs, he could run faster than any non-meta could even when he wasn't jumping leaps and bounds.

If he wasn't there would be a distraction from the heat and the boredom, and possibly information. He mulled over his options and, deciding anything was better than nothing at all, moved closer to the shore.

"Hey, nice weather, 'innit? You got any directions?" He made sure to make enough noise that the kid heard him before he saw him. Goblin-esque as he was, surprising someone wasn't going to make him any friends.

Alexander turned around when someone came up to him and asked for directions. "Hi and unfortunately no." He said.

Lex nods and said "i see...very well." He went over to them and asked "Who are you two? I want to know your names please. My name is Lex Luthor." Lex wondered if he could earn their trust. maybe he could use them to escapse this place

Arin decided to walk around and came across a familiar neko. "Hey, Ayaka." He said.

Mikey pulled out his turtle-com to see if his teammates were reachable. When he flipped it open, he only saw static. Well, that's just great He thought as he put the turtle-com back in his belt. Let's see who or what else woke up here. He started walking around the place.

Alexander began walking around to see if he could find anyone who might have an answer to where they are.

Price began wandering around to see if someone might know how he got here. Even if he would get no answer, it was still a great chance to possibly meet people.

Arin found himself on what seemed to be another island, but looked different than the usual sandy ones. As usual, I don't know where we are except for the obvious.

Mikey awoke to find himself on an island with volcanoes surrounding the place. Where in the shell are we?

Alexander woke up to find himself lying near what looked to water, but instead it was lava. He stood up and brushed himself off. Where am I?

Price had been at his own house in bed, but when he awoke, he found himself someplace else. Where did I end up this time? He soon figured it was island with.....volcanoes?
