I consider Force to be an element. It really is just as vital as everything else on that list. Think about it, with no forces acting upon matter and energy nothing would ever happen. Stars and planets would never form, things would never move. You'd never exist.

There's actually a theory on the end of the Universe called "Heat Death." Since energies spread as evenly as possible within a system, the entire Universe can be considered a system that contains all of the energy in it. At some point, all that energy will spread out and equalize. The entire Universe will be the same temperature and there will be no imbalances or gradients of energy concentration for reactions to occur. Or so the theory states.

This seems really cool, but with all due respect I would like to suggest a different arrangement for elements. Still seven in total and for the most part the same, but I think we could cover more ground and not step on as many toes.

If I'm coming off as anything negative then please forgive me!

Idea?

FIRE
Fire is pretty straight forward. Most roleplayers know how Pyromancy works. In some cases, Fire can also include embers, ash and smoke.

WATER
The Element of Water represents both water itself and ice. This is common in many rpgs, including those who have defined the genre such as D&D (which is a staple that you'll see is frequent in my set up). All of the obvious abilities of controlling liquid water are accompanied by manipulation of cold energy, which can result in creating ice. If ice and water are two separate players, a lot of redundancy is in effect instead of having more unique abilities.

EARTH
Geomancy is the first thought for most people when they hear about powers of Earth. It's not wrong. And for the most part can be left that way. Acid can be a good addition but isn't crucial.

AIR
Wind and flight are the core of the element of Air, but so is electricity. Many magicians of Air are masters with lightning, and in extremes can even have some control over the weather.

LIGHT
Not me, the Element. It's probably the same as what you're thinking. Light beams, hard light weapons, healing and stuff.

DARK
Probably also the same. Shadows, mostly. Possibly some necromancy or other eldritch magics?

FORCE
Force is the raw manipulation of energy to apply a desired effect. Force would include things like telekinesis, gravity manipulation, force strikes. Don't think too much like The Force from starwars. Think of forces from your physics class in highschool or something.

Maybe we could work something else out if you don't like this?

The Future Diary

This roleplay is based on the popular manga/anime series Mirai Nikki, also known as 未来日記 or Future Diary. However, this is an Alternate Universe in which (most of) the characters in the canon series will not be present. Instead, you will be the contestants in a battle to the death!

For those of you who aren't familiar with Mirai Nikki, here's how it works:

Your character will be mostly your own creation but with one addition. They will be a keeper of a very unique diary, in which they have always kept track of some type of events or just anything about their day. This diary will become able to predict the future, showing entries of what's yet to come.

The objective is to utilize your diary's foresight to slay your competitors and become the winner of a free-for-all survival game.

More details on the setting will be in the OoC. For now, I'm looking for up to 12 people to play.
