Yeah, I'm with a lot of you here in that the less I have, the easier it is to focus on quality. Currently have two and I'm entertaining the idea of a third, but we'll see, haha.
Ha, a loaded question, but I'll echo what others have said:
A dream RP would check the following boxes:
-A strong cast of main characters that are flawed, complicated and lovable
-A fleshed out world that borders on Tolkien levels of lore
-Defined arcs that explore different aspects of the main characters and/or lore. Each arc could alternate between earth-shattering, "AAHH the world is on fire" and intimate, more grounded relational moments.
-Funnily enough, a defined end point. I don't know if I'm weird for wanting this, but every story, no matter how amazing, no matter how riveting, has an end. I'd love to assemble all this and play this out over the course of a few years, but I want a defined end point to work to so that the stories we've made don't ever get stale, that we'll remember each moment fondly, but not feel obligated to keep churning out plot for the sake of plot...if that makes sense?

New fandom craving: Resident Evil
It has been a LONG, LONG time since I've dabbled in this fandom, but the recent trailer for RE9 and my overall love for this goofy yet horrifying franchise has bubbled up to the point where I'd love to try out a few pairings which I'll list below with some context.

Every pairing above can go in just about any direction you'd like to go, seeing as the pairings can be flexed to any point in the RE timeline or even completely revamped to do an AU-type timeline going back to RE0 or RE1. I'm completely open to ideas at this point; I've got a couple of ideas for the pairings, but happy to discuss ideas that you might have!
New idea: Dragon Age: Post Inquisition/Trespasser
Putting this at the top because this came to me yesterday after a sudden urge to revisit the DA fandom popped up. I specifically want to play out the following pairing and idea:
Hero of Ferelden x Morrigan
Plot idea: While Solas' desire to destroy the Veil manifests in plans carried out in dark places, the Hero of Ferelden still seeks a way to stop The Calling for not just him, but all other Grey Wardens. His quest has led him to the shores of Rivain, where he seeks to examine the manuscripts of rituals and other preserved records to see if this part of Thedas could provide any clue on how to stop the Blight. The Warden has asked Morrigan to join him on this part of his journey despite his hesitance, knowing that her expertise and companionship would prove invaluable in navigating the mage-heavy Kingdom, especially in light of a growing rumor that a rogue group of mages is seeking to stomp out remnants of the Chantry once and for all.
Obviously way more could be said here, but that's the idea I've got so far. Very happy to explore other corners of the DA universe as well with OC's!
Idea 1: Trad-Post-Apoc
Two years after a ravaging world war, the world is left fragmented and broken. As nature begins to heal itself from the horrors of a conflict fraught with all kinds of weaponry, the scant survivors across the globe have begun to re-build, repurposing old equipment to form rudimentary communication networks, farming communities and even a handful of urban meccas that fly under different banners. In the remains of Chicago is one of those urban meccas named Lake Haven where Kaz Uehara, a former teacher turned hunter and scout, uncovers the remains of several hooded figures mauled by..something? Someone? Little known to Kaz, he's stumbled onto a growing cult dedicated to a sinister motive.
Idea 2: Cyberpunk 2077
Night City is host to scum and villainy, but Danny Yuan is definitely not scum or villainy; at least, in his mind. Danny heads up a small group of edgerunners for hire that are dedicated to taking out anyone who threatens the classes who can't defend themselves (i.e.: almost everyone in the city that isn't on a corporate payroll). When he receives a message from someone to meet, alone, on a rooftop near Arasaka Corp's HQ, Danny is surprised by who he meets.
