Personality: Kushiel is a calm, kind-hearted and polite soul who will do his best to keep everyone in Heaven healthy and heal those in need. He has vowed to do everything in order to not loose a patient of any kind, regardless of their species. However he does get extremely down when the person he tries to save dies in his arms, becoming depressed for several days and tends to blame himself for not being fast enough. As if it isn't stressed enough, Kushiel is also a major pacifist and does everything to not kill or seriously hurt anyone, only using some factors in self-defense.
History: Kushiel had always wanted a life of simplicity and peace. Born in Heaven, he was the son of two Angels who adored him greatly. They took care of the little angel and made sure he was in the best hands. He was always a quiet one, not speaking much in school but determined to study to the best of his capabilities. Yet while learning about the War that was going on in his era, he always hated this idea of killing and suffering, the lost of loved ones and the horrors of bloodshed. He would avoid war altogether, refusing to go into the armed Angelic Forces. Eventually, he would refuse in killing anything, not even a simple annoying insect or bug. However, the war was growing tougher as the days went by, and eventually Kushiel was convinced by his parents to serve his part, under only the condition that he heals his allies rather than to fight.
During his training, Kushiel still did all he could to study in the ways of his newfound magic skills, with his mentors liking him a lot for his commitment. After finishing his training as a certified healer, Kushiel was presented with a gift. He was given a special spear, named Asclepius, one that can both give and take life if only used for absolutely necessary defensive measures. Regardless, the healer vowed to only use the spear to heal and never to hurt others. During the war and eventually in other wars up till this point, does Kushiel continue to heal his allies, the majority of his most severely injured allies behind at an incredible 98.8% survival rate. However, the 1.2% that do die take a great toll on the Angel of Life's emotional state, thinking he hasn't tried hard enough to save them. Regardless, he continues to go into battle healing any who are in need of it.
Kushiel became so famous and beloved, he even attracted the great attention of the leader of the Laguna Angels. Zeruel, having recently gotten himself to power, needed a advisor and a retainer to assist him within the bouts of Heaven. And Kushiel was the best healer out there. While he proved extremely reliable in battle, there was only one problem with him in the Angel of Might's eyes. He cannot kill. That means, he can't protect him properly, let alone himself. It was a weakness in Zeruel's eyes, one that should be purged. But eventually he came to accept his ways and let Kushiel be in his own philosophy. Now bounded by a contract, the Angel Of Life also protects Lord Zeruel from when he's in serious harm, always coming to his aid during his direst of times. But never does it get in the way when healing others that call for his help.
Powers: - Pain Suppression: Kushiel is able to suppress pain using his spear on his ally or himself. The user will not feel the pain for a brief period of time and can allow him to either get back in battle in a hurry or as a cheap measure if the situation was too rough.
- Healing Augmentation Boost: Known simply as "HAB", Kushiel swings his spear over his ally multiple times to activate special healing powers to accelerate the user's healing. Depending on the wound and time he has, it can sometimes take from a minute, to several minutes, or even up to several hours. He says the the healing goes by faster when you rest. (A more advanced version of Pain Suppression)
- Limb Regeneration: An extremely heavy mana-draining technique, Kushiel is able to regenerate lost limbs of his patient or of himself. However, it requires an intense amount of concentration to achieve this process. (A more advanced version of "HAB")
- Detoxification: Kushiel is able to detoxify the body of harmful poisons or chemicals of almost any kind, or at the very least stop it from getting worse.
- Divine Shield: Using his spear, Kushiel is able to erect a large shield around him and any surrounding allies, providing cover and defense against any threat, both projectile and physical damages.
Weapons: - Asclepius: Kushiel wields the Spear Of Asclepius, a spear while originally used for offensive fight capabilities, now also acts as a healing staff for him to wield.
Equipment: - Herbs, Potions, etc: Whether its to conserve his mana energy both in the infirmary or on the battlefield, Kushiel is extremely well knowledged in medicine and healing-herbs. He usually uses them in a pinch.
