For example, Cydone wrecked Ni-Mu simply because she tried to stop an unstoppable attack improperly. And Henry beats Miyu because Miyu lacks in every category of power.

But all things being equal, Machina beats Angel beats Demon beats Machina.

Huh... Well that explains a lot. So thats why Zeruel got his ass handed to him by Bastion... and not just simply because of the combined firepower of Henry, Barlog and Graf (even though he's a Machina unit but whatever).

You're assuming what little of humanity remains are either not soldiers or enslaved. Furthermore, Machina are naturally weak to Demons.

Oh I see. Again it was just an idea that was fun to come up with. Wasn't expecting it to be a thing anyways.

But I guess the whole Machina being weak to demons has a triangle advantage? Like Machina ---> Angels ---> Demons ---> Machina (repeat)?

So I've rewatched the DOOM 2016 Game recently and while I heavily doubt the possibility of this coming into play (its like 0.00001%), I thought of something cool. So the Machina just represents humanity and mechs/androids 100%, with no affiliation to either Heaven or Hell right? It basically represents Humanity as a whole.

But what if there were human sub-factions that actually lean more towards Heaven and Hell? Now they aren't allied with either faction necessarily, but rather they are trying to use something that they have to their own advantage. Take for example how the UAC in DOOM manipulates Hell Energy into Argent Energy. Hell certainly hates them for doing it, but the Corporation was able to manipulate and bend energy to their own will (while also trying to weaponize the Demons for some whatever reason).

For the RP, I was thinking of some cult-like followers on both sides that use some of the advantages of their "leaning affiliations" for their own good. Like for the Hell-Cult they could do a similar thing like in DOOM, while also experimenting on Demons, using their technology to their own will, created cyborg mechs based off this energy (think Evangelion-esque mechs), take over the world and then eliminate the demons once their plan is achieved, destroy Heaven and Humanity, etc. And for Heavens-Cult they could do a similar thing as well, but maybe trying to find a way to recreate the world to 'advance humanity' or something, relying more on powerful artifacts and some strong units and super weapons to become the "Neo-Angels". Either way, both factions have diabolical plans that threaten all the main Factions and if achieved could spell doom for the entire world.

Again, I heavily doubt this will go into any motion whatsoever, but I thought it was simply a fun thing to come up with.
