A pigeon sculled and shifted its wings outside the window next to Eliyah's bed. The man, one eye open, showed his frustration, deciding that the pigeon had over stayed its welcome. As he grunted and sat up, blankets falling from his bare chest, his alarm clock went off, doing it its job, as it always did. Without as much as glancing at it, his hand darted out, picking it up and reading himself to throw it at the window in spite of the damn air-breathing, rat with wings, bottom feeder. Hesitating though, he found himself unable to do it, in the end, the pigeon decided it was time to leave and flew away anyway.

Nah, I'll will need this tomorrow morning. he thought to himself despondently as he placed the alarm clock back on the desk.

Eliyah groaned as he laid back down, feeling the sunlight on his face. "Urrgh, it can't be morning already." he muttered. It felt like he'd only fallen asleep 10 minutes ago. Once he looked at his alarm clock though, he started to really contemplate his own maturity. He lay there, also contemplating whether to force himself up as his levels of consciousness slowly increased once again. Finally he threw back the covers and stood slouched beside the bed, his pyjama bottoms creased and hair in a frightful mess of lumps. "Looking good Eli." he said to himself as he shuffled past the mirror and yawned his way into the bathroom.

"I have to admit, your really not a morn…afternoon, I don't even know. Your not a waking up person, I guess." a disembodied voice admitted.

Every instinct in Eli's body warned him of danger, more and more, until he felt the cold gaze of a blue man with wings and a tail. Within a moments notice, Eli was ready to transform and fly the hell out of there.

"So…how can I help you?" Eli began, speaking carefully.

"We need your help, kinda need you to come with me." the man affirmed, scratching the back of his head with his freakish fingers.

Eli frowned, a blue man thing teleported into his house and wanted his help, da fuck did he think he was. With the shit storm going on outside about the X-Men, the last thing a Mutant wanted to do was go for a trip.

"Look, blue..thing man, I really can't, you know, stranger danger?" Eli said sarcastically before he ran at the man, ready to tackle him. Without any effort the man disappeared in a puff of blue smoke. Eli's momentum sent him canering into his bed. Using the mattress as a spring board, Eli propelled himself into his window, attempting to transform so he could take the impact and fly away. Unfortunately, Eli found himself on the floor in pain. He had failed to transform and instead…smashed headfirst into his window.

"Idiot." the man chuckled, laughing at Eli's failure before grabbing his foot and teleporting.

With a rush of air, Eli found himself shirtless on the concrete floor of some facility. Looking around frantically, he found that he wasn't alone.

"Oh sweet Jesus what did I get myself into..." Eli mumbled to himself, examining the others who seemed to be in same predicament. At least the girls were cute, maybe he would talk to one before he would be experimented on. "...and can I get a shirt!

Indeed we are a band of thieves and murderers. Some of us have morals while others lost them long ago.

Looks like Marxo is the better choice then, mind if I join as first mate?

Red Hoods or Marxo...decisions, decisions.

I need a Crew, probably will join one.

Could I still join this RP?

"I'll be honest Christie, your codename is your name. As long as you don't also have the power to turn me into stone with one look we all good. You two already doing it with your looks." Lucian said smoothly.

Lucian enjoyed conversing with new kids, they were like a blank slate, a new start. 'Shape clay into the vessel you want'' his grandma always said, although she had also said he was a demon in human skin, she was a religious type. The oh so memorable feeling of betrayal shot through Lucian for a second, but it feeling so intense it felt as if it lasted ten. It was a feeling that made you desperate for attention, approval, and affection. It made you feel nauseous. It killed your self esteem, your trust, everything. It was like you were on your first roller coaster; everything's too fast to comprehend, and as you are plunged down that steep hill your stomach lurches into your throat, choking you and making a huge tangle of organs and intestines. And when the ride ends things are a bit clearer, but everything is still dizzy and you are a bit numb. Or, worse, all your nerves are alive as ever and your senses are heightened. You want to go back on the ride again, because maybe next time the ride will be easier on you, and it will be as if it never hurt you.

When you get off a roller coaster, it's as if the whole world is spinning around fast but you are standing still. There are strings holding you down and everybody is watching the one person who can't move. You are vulnerable and you have no idea how to snip the strings and move on.

Lucian rubbed his cheek out of habit, he was to damn philosophical for his own good. Bad memories always plunged him into the murky depths of his own mind, then he spewed of out all that crap.

Upon hearing Christie's doubt about her own power, Lucian felt a connection, although whatever she went through to get that Vibranium, he could not understand, but the feeling of doubt, he understood that.

"Christie, it'll change, I'm sure. Doubt is one of the most debilitating things that we have to deal with on a day-to-day basis. Doubting this 'gift' of yours won't help you in the long run. Hey, on the bright side, you have a room full of psychotic, half-witted, fear inducing young adults who are more than willing to stick with you through think and thin. Or at least me and Grace are, I think, maybe." Lucian affirmed, looking at Grace expectantly on the last part. He wasn't one to put people one the spot, but this was one of those serious then funny bonding moments that only happened when third friend agreed with the philosophical one.

Provided he's not a meany panini to mortals and the world in general, Lifprasil will get along just fine with him.

A meanie panini, how offensive! Amartia would do nothing of the sort. He just....influences people to....do stuff.

>tfw Amartia has the polarized version of Lifprasil's emotional control

Maybe, they'll be....emotionally stable friends.
