Bio

Hello everyone. I'm Dutch, a mother of a 12-year old boy and I love both rp-ing and writing.

I've been writing and roleplaying in Dutch and English since 2002. I joined the RolePlayer Guild in 2014 and since May 2020 I'm one of the contests mods.

There are times I don't have much creative energy and will be silent for a while, but in the very least I will try to keep the writing contests going.

If I haven't replied in a while, feel free to poke me. Genuinly, I sometimes need reminders that you are waiting for a reply. I don't ghost on purpose, I promise. Time is just a weird thing sometimes, and if something happened 3 days ago, 3 weeks ago or 3 months ago can feel pretty much the same and I often don't realize how much time passed since my last reply. And if I read your reply and accidentally closed the tab there is a good chance I might forget I was supposed to reply because I lost the visual reminder T_T

Benjamin followed Steph outside, walking to her with his hands in the pockets of his pants, seemingly without a care in the world. "Ready for it?" he asked her. He wanted to see this, to see her fly and accept who she was. And he was glad he could be a part of that. He thought back to the argument he had with Mike earlier, and he was certain she was not the dangerous monster he seemed to think she was.

Mike looked at Steph and Ben through the window of the library. He had done some study about the dragon-like demons as Morrison had suggested and he had decided on a break. Again he worried about Ben, he had to be under her spell. Succubi did that and everything Stuart Greyhill had taught him about those demons affirmed that. But how could he protect Ben if he didn't want to be protected?
"Is that the Succubus?" someone asked and Mike turned around. He saw it was Stuart and nodded. "The spell to send her back to the demon realm is a fairly easy one, once you memorised the gestures and words. Just make sure to carry a ruby with you at all times."
"I have one," Mike assured him. "Ever since our conversation today."
"Those alien gems mr. Johnson talked about, he thinks they can be used for spells. They would give us a better fighting chance against demons. I understand they are unsafe to use, but maybe we can find a way to make them safe."
"Maybe..." Mike muttered. The precious stones, the gems from earth, did a good enough job as far as he knew, but he was still in the early stages of understanding these banishing rituals while Stuart was an expert. If there was anyone who could find a way to make them safe for humans to use it had to be him.

The helicopter landed at the Heliplatform of the mansion and the agents brought the female agent to a nursery. The leader of the team when to mr. Johnson to report about the mission.

Mr. Johnson was in his office, looking at a GPS that showed were Gaia was. The device in her back that would make her wild doubled as a tracking device. Now all he had to do was make sure she was wreaking havoc where Ethan saw it and Ethan could prove his worth to the agency. Judged on the latest report by agent Morrison, Ethan wanted to prove himself to the agency. And according to mr. Greyhill, Mike was an eager student, capable of banishing Steph. The only useless one was Benjamin. Annoyingly, he even seemed to spend a lot of time with the Succubus. He glanced at the screen that showed small images of all security cameras. Steph and Benjamin were outside and it seemed she didn't even try to hide her true appearance anymore. He could tolerate her presence when she hid under an illusion, but something had made her drop it.

Agent Morrison was in pursuit and rounded the corner, entering the ally from which Carl'svoice had come from and raising his gun as he assessed the situation. These angels relied on throwing tools and weren't even good at that, they couldn't be much of an opponent.

"Thank you," Vivian said. She turned to the printer and pulled some sheets from it. "I'll get some decent supplies later, but it's a start, right?" She put the small stack of papers in front of Ray and a pencil on top. "Just be careful around Benjamin. And if there is any trouble, just go to the staff and they will protect you. Enjoy drawing, Ray. I hope to see some nice drawings the next time we meet."

Benjamin turned when he heard Dia and stepped towards her when she collapsed. "Dia?" he asked as he crouched down next to her, a hand rose but he lowered it again when he remembered he couldn't touch her anyway. "Are you okay? What happened?"
He was glad Dia was with him again, but seeing her like this didn't take his worry away. It did get his mind off the small room.

"What other one?" Marc asked. but as soon the words left his mouth he had an idea about what other one Sara was talking about. Still, getting to know her also meant getting to know her condition, so he definitely wanted to learn more about it. In the very least he had to be able to pick up on warning signs.
I love the flirting Frossien XD
"I know~" Penalopy chimed and she settled in Soul's fur as he made himself comfortable. When he talked about Gavin she too looked in their direction. "It's amazing, isn't it? She must be a special human, but she looks rather average so far. But I'm happy for Gav~"
She started humming, a pleasant melody filled the air and it made people stop to try and see where it came from, but they soon went on their way again, smiling to themselves as they enjoyed the tune.

Mindy heard the giggle and looked around, but couldn't see anyone. Was it one of the two legendaries that could turn invisible? Probably so. She flashed a smile to Gavin, the poor guy seemed as awkward as she felt. She pushed some hair behind her ear and looked ahead again.
Then she heard the melody, it was relaxing. "That's nice," she said. "Is that the Meloetta?"

Michael nodded as he continued to the Pokémon Center. It wasn't long before he saw the roof of the building. They would soon be there now. He decided to send a text to his uncle to see if he was on his way back too. Maybe Varina would know more about these hunters.

Andy drank from his coffee as he returned the look, noticing how her hair slipped down and her posture. "One of my many good talents," he commented. "And I would love to get the opportunity to show you more of my talents."
Kim looked up at Andy, pausing the snacking on the treats. "I hope he doesn't mean what I think he means..." she sighed.
While thoroughly enjoyed spending time with Frossien, and getting to know her, the notification of his cellphone tore his attention away from her and he checked his phone. A frown appeared as he read the text message. "Apparently there is some trouble and my nephew wants to consult Varina." He looked at Frossien. "If I were to leave, does that mean our ways part, or will you join me? If you're not otherwise engaged I'm sure my nephew would love to meet you."
Morrison will be on the side of 'all succubi and incubi are evil', but he doesn't mind angels as they are believed to be allies in the fight against evil. So he's okay with Carl, but not with Steph. And he cares about Ethan, he sees a lot of himself in the boy, so anyone touching Ethan will have to deal with Morrison. He sees value in Mike, is indifferent towards Benjamin, doesn't trust Gaia, and is inclined to see Harriet as an ally.

I'm looking forward to learning what Jase really is ^_^
My aim for him is to be an antagonist. He's 100% loyal to the agency and believes all demons and vampires to be monsters that are a threat to humans, but he has his good sides.
Vivian nodded. "I think art is a very good medium to express oneself, and it has a calming effect too. I would appreciate it if you won't paint on your walls, but I will give you paper and the supplies you need. Maybe we can pick a day every week and then you will show me what you drew, and we'll talk about what it means to you and what you felt when you drew it." She had a motherly smile and reached out to briefly touch Ray's hand as a sign of familiarity. "Would you be okay with that?"

Benjamin blinked when he though he heard a whisper. Dia's voice? That was impossible, he probably just wanted to hear her. He paced to the back of the room and to the door again. Why did this room have to be so small? He could barely walk in here. Benjamin hit the padded wall with his fist, which did absolutely nothing, he barely felt it. Something had happened to Dia and he was stuck here! He paced around the room, getting more restless with every turn he was forced to make.

"Jazz is nice," Marc agreed. "I listen to a lot, but my guilty pleasure is folk, especially the kind with uplifting music and positive lyrics. It's simpler than most things on the radio and after a long day of work I like to relax to that."
He found the jazz station and kept it on; smooth jazz entered the car through the speakers. Marc was certain there was a classical station too, but he rarely listened to that in the car.
I really need to come up with a first name for agent Morrison. I've been using him so much he needs a bit of character building XD
Benjamin went to the door. "Try and spread your wings outside HQ first, go up just a bit to see if you can. If that works, we'll find a remote place where you can test how fast you can go. I'll see if I can keep up with you." It wasn't ice-skating, but he wouldn't turn down the opportunity to run.

Morrison looked at the blood spatter when the spanner barely missed him. He quickly turned around when he saw some dart away.
"Focus, Jase. The blood doesn't have to be Carl's." He ran to where the figure had been going. "If they fucking hurt him..." he grumbled as he went around the corner with the gun in his hand.
"I'll bring it up tomorrow, after we talked about what she wants to talk about." He still wasn't sure what she wanted to talk about, but he'd find out in the morning. "For now, why don't you try to fly a bit?" he asked. "We'll go outside and you can spread your wings. I'm sure it will feel nice to do so."

"We should," Morrison said as he started to move. When Jase mentioned he was a good back-up the corners of his mouth lifted into the faintest of smiles and he briefly touched Jase's shoulder. "I'll do my best, but Angels are not my area of expertise."
When he heard the noise he narrowed his eyes and ran to the alley. So far he wasn't doing his part as back-up, but he would make that right. Running into the ally he looked around. "Carl?" he asked, his eyes moving from left to right to take in all the details.
