Bio

Hello everyone. I'm Dutch, a mother of a 12-year old boy and I love both rp-ing and writing.

I've been writing and roleplaying in Dutch and English since 2002. I joined the RolePlayer Guild in 2014 and since May 2020 I'm one of the contests mods.

There are times I don't have much creative energy and will be silent for a while, but in the very least I will try to keep the writing contests going.

If I haven't replied in a while, feel free to poke me. Genuinly, I sometimes need reminders that you are waiting for a reply. I don't ghost on purpose, I promise. Time is just a weird thing sometimes, and if something happened 3 days ago, 3 weeks ago or 3 months ago can feel pretty much the same and I often don't realize how much time passed since my last reply. And if I read your reply and accidentally closed the tab there is a good chance I might forget I was supposed to reply because I lost the visual reminder T_T

@LylyI prefer forum threads over pm's because it's more organised with the different tabs. If you're okay with it I'll make us a thread and we can discuss the RP there.
@Lyly Cool :) Do you prefer posting in a forum or PM?
Hi,

I'm an adult too and not interested in smut, so that's already two things we have in common. I don't mind to be a practice partner.

I have an adult male doctor character (30-40, depending on what's needed), who I can throw into the zombie plot.

When it comes to posting you should know I'm a casual roleplayer, not native English (Dutch), and I have a rather irregular posting habit, ranging between daily to weekly. I honestly try to reply every day but it usually doesn't happen.

Benjamin looked at Josh's back when Dia whispered to him. He nodded to show he had heard her. He had a hard time reading this man, or whatever he was, but he didn't like his attitude. Josh was a puzzle, but at least one that was on their side. He hoped.
"Josh, why did you come to work here?" he asked him.

Marc looked at Sara, he enjoyed to see her confidence high again, and to see her smile. Sadly it could swing to depressed again, but for now he'd happy that she was happy. "My pleasure," he said to her.
He looked at the people around them. Some teens who were probably going to the same place they were; a man who seemed nervous and looked around a lot, possible a drug dealer but while it wasn't unheard of in this part of the city he didn't want to jump to conclusions. And a couple going in the opposite direction. This wasn't a busy street, most went to the arcade through the shopping street on the other side, but he preferred the small streets of this part of the city.
"I haven't seen her yet," Michael answered. "She was asleep when I got up, so I let her sleep." He noticed Soul got up and looked into the direction he was going. "But it looks like she's up now."
He had a small smile on his face. It was good to not be alone anymore. It was probably why Benny had stayed with him, that Butterfree knew him too well.

Benny had reached Andy's room and flew in after opening the door. He pulled on the blanket, letting out a happy "Freee!"
"Come now, Benny. It's way too early for this," Andy muttered, grabbing the blanket and pulling it over him again. But Benny wasn't going to give up so easily.
"Freee!" he insisted, pulling the blanket away again.
"You're annoying, you know that?" Andy grumbled. "No-one in their right mind gets up this early, unless you are a hyperactive little Butterfree."
"Freee!"
Andy turned on his side. "Get some coffee ready, I'll be there in a few."
Benny flew out of the door and used Confusion to close it behind him.
Mike listened to Gaia and looked at the extended hand. "A bit bruised, perhaps," he said as he took her hand, "I'll have someone at the infirmary check it." He let go of her hand again. "To be honest, it did scare me. You were coming straight at me, and when you're not in control you also don't hold back. But I'm glad you are yourself again."

Benjamin watched them as the talked, and when Mike was finished he looked back to where Ethan had gotten rid of whatever had troubled Gaia. "Someone should report this. Maybe it was an enemy of our organisation that did this."

Ethan decided to go back to his room. "Going back to rest," he called to the others. "Gaia, try to keep the place whole now, okay?"

"Freya," mr. Johnsson said as he turned to her. "The device worked perfectly, but it malfunctioned when it was hit the electric bullet. Is it possible to avoid it short-circuiting after it's hit with a high voltage? If this happens with electric buttelts, it could happen in a lightning storm."
He wanted to ignore the monster, but she was annoyingly present.

The agent who had overseen the rescue mission from the base, having been in contact with the sniper team and had been able to see the camera images from the drone, entered the office. He stopped and stared at Rose, cursing under his breath, and took a seat when the boss gestured to an empty one. He took his tablet to bring up the data and reports from that mission immediately.
Benjamin rolled his eyes when Josh shared his assumption. "What, guys can't have girls as friends?" he muttered under his breath. But he frowned when he called Dia the Fallen Princess; somehow he knew her history. The 'my liege' was equally intriguing.
"I don't know how she got tangable either. I didn't do it. I can only see spirits, which you should have known if you read my file. But as Dia said, we idiots really do have something to do. If you feel like helping you can always help us get into the infirmary."

"They can be loud," Marc said; he wasn't sure how to respond to her other side being malicious or that being around him helped. "We can give it a try and if it's too loud for you we'll go elsewhere." He turned into a street and led the way through this part of the city towards the arcade.
"Humans can be horrible," Michael said. "To other humans or Pokémon." He bent down to scratch Sparky behind the ear. "I never met a horrible Pokémon yet... before Darkrai. And the Spinarak back home can be rather aggressive, no-one really knows why. Uncle did study them for a while and all he could do was confirm they are uncharacteristically aggressive and territorial."

"Of course," Benny said, letting out a happy sound at the petting. Then he flew up. "I think he slept long enough now," he said as he flew towards the rooms to wake up Andy.

"Yeah, no problem," Ethan said and he looked down the corridor. "Mike is over there, with Ben and Steph. You okay though? You slammed into walls and everything. And then you were zapped."
Gaia was definitely sturdy; such a discharge would incapacitate a human, possibly even kill them.

Benjamin sighed in relief when the noise stopped and Gaia seemed to act normal again. "That was intense," he sighed. "I'm glad everyone is okay though."

"Mostly," Mike added, rubbing his side.

Mr. Johnson stared at the female agent, then he closed his eyes and rubbed his temples. Another agent had transformed. What was this? 'Turn into a monster day'?
"Yes, sit down please," he said, gesturing to a chair. "One moment, I need to send some more orders." He texted two more people, the leader of the snipers and the agent who had been in touch with them over the radio when Rose had been abducted. The last one he texted was the guard outside.
*come inside and keep an eye on the monster. One sign of aggression and shoot it*
When that was done he looked at Rose again. "I want to talk about the device we had put onto Gaia, if you recall that. And then we need to talk about that abduction of yours."
Benjamin stepped towards Josh. "And what makes you think it's your business to know? I could be looking for a quiet place where the staff won't interrupt us when we make out." He moved his hand to take Dia's. "The real question is why you pulled Dia away. What do you want from her?"

"Movies will take too long, but we can hang out at an arcade for a bit," Marc said. "There is one not too far from here and there is a restaurant nearby. Not the one I initially wanted to go to, but it's not a bad place to eat." He looked at Sara to see how she felt about it.
It was a change of plans, but he was flexible. In his job he had sudden changes in his shifts or extra shifts, which sometimes meant he had to cancel other plans. It was part of life.
