So apparently, business shorts are a thing that exists. All I can say is... why?

Been busy lately, courtesy of the guy who thought that it was a good idea to have 3 assignments and a test due in the same week.

Bio

Anyone remember the period a little after guildfall, when the site didn't have a lot of work put into it, the servers went down pretty often and people were moving out? We waited and waited until boom, Mahz made America the guild great again. That was about where I left off.

My mistake was trying to take on everything at once (and being cringy as hell but I mean come on). Well now I'm back, and better than ever.

And I'll be damned if I let anything get in the way of having a good time.

"Rose, huh?" Gale mused to himself.
If he thought about it, it was pretty fitting. After all, if he saw a baby with pink hair, he'd probably want to call it Rose. Or something like that, anyway. Gale wondered if her hair was natural or if it was dyed.
If it is natural, Gale mused.
"I wonder what your parents look like."

When Gale realised he'd said it out loud, he coughed awkwardly and quickly apologized.
"Sorry, that was kind of rude." He said.
Speaking of rude, I haven't even told her my name.
Had his social "skills" worn down so far as to be so caddish to people he had just met? As he paused to reflect, he realised that the answer was yes. Or at least sort of. He'd never had much opportunity to talk to people in his old school when they'd always avoided him, and he'd been in a foreign country for the past month or so desperately figuring out how to get where he wanted. So yes, his already stunted social skill was paired down even further by his journey, but at least he wasn't tactless. Or, at least he thought he wasn't tactless.

"Well, nevermind." Gale said, coughing again.
The best way to talk to someone was to talk to them, after all. He didn't really need social skills that much, did he? Gale turned to face Rose directly and produced a natural smile while he gave his greetings.
"My name's Gale. Nice to meet you, Rose." Gale said. "And what about you two? If we're gonna go together, we may as well introduce ourselves, right?"

@Baklava@lydyn, and @Zero Hex though if you just wanna wait for scio then don't do anything I guess
Sorry, my sister told me I should study so I did. I'll be a little while.
Alright, let me see if I can come up with something.
@Lord of Evil I'll post after you, Evil. Just in case you're waiting on me.

I'm kind of waiting for @Zero Hex, actually. At least, I think I am.
<Snipped quote by Lord of Evil>

I'm sorry, but did you just unintentionally make a pun? Because that pun was good.

Oh shoot, you're right. That was a pun 0_o

Although I don't quite remember whether that was intentional or not. Hm...
@HeartlessNobody Yea, but you might want to wait or something since our GM has recently weathered a natural disaster.
I'm due to post everywhere today, dammit. CURSE YOU IMPORTANT TESTING!

Education system: "Muahaha... Now that these kids are distracted by tests, they'll be behind with their hobbies and devolve into corporate slaves!"
"Aw man." Gale said as the glowing energy girl announced her lack of food. "I haven't had anything more wholesome than a snickers bar since last night..."
Truth be told, while Gale was hungry, what he'd really wanted to do was make some small talk while he analysed the group. While he looked unconcerned about the owls (he partially was, still), he was trying to figure out who of the group was creating the owls, if one of the group was the one doing it, and for what reason. So far, the only thing he'd managed to figure out was that it probably wasn't one of them.

Bug girl was ruled out because of the bugs. The bugs were only swarming her and ignored the others, for no discernible reason. This was in line with what Gale knew about the spooky power situation, in that she didn't seem to have much control over her bug-attracting ability, kind of like Gale's situation with his lightning thing. Although clearly there were exceptions to that rule with Pink hair's glowing energy stuff, since it seemed she produced it willingly and apparently controlled it well enough.

Pink hair was in fact the most likely candidate for making the pink owls, for obvious reasons. But despite not knowing much about special abilities, he was pretty sure glowing energy didn't link up to owls. So that left the guy in the tree, and Gale got the impression that he was doing the same thing Gale was doing. He was either acting casual or actually casual, but with tree guy's behaviour, he definitely wasn't controlling the owls.

Gale looked at the owls again. They weren't doing anything at all, just watching. He figured that the GM they would be doing something by now if they wanted to do something. Gale concluded that the owls were probably a surveillance system or something, to alert the school if there were random students getting lost on Mt Fuji because hot damn was the mountain big. And if that was so, that meant that they should probably get going up the mountain, or something.
"Welp, nevermind." Gale said dismissively. "I'm sure they have breakfast up in the academy, so why don't we get going?"

I'm thinking a time skip soon to get us to the Festival already. Thoughts?

If nothing is gonna happen in DGO then it's alright. We can fill in the gaps with whatever.
Boy, that was tedious.

I'm back, boys, and I'm here to regale you with my experiences before I collapse.

Summary of the ceremony: The groom was really short, this was their second wedding (they had 1 earlier in the year) and there were a lot of bugs.
The amount of tiny bugs was real annoying. They didn't bother me that much but at one point there was this mosquito on one of the bridesmaid's elbows and I wanted to scare it off but I couldn't exactly do that. This was in fact the couple's second wedding, something to do with relatives not being able to go to the first one or something, I didn't pay attention. And finally, the groom was really short, shorter than my mom even.

The food was indeed good, however. Too good, in fact. I ate too many appetizers and I had 2 serves of the entree since one of my family members didn't show up and they thought someone was sitting there, which put me into a food coma as soon as I finished the main course. I managed the desert, of course, but I couldn't have any cake.

I also made an important discovery during dinner; that wine tastes like crap. I first drank some champagne, it smelled like permanent marker fumes and didn't taste much better. Unfortunately, of the 3 wines there were today, it was easily the best.

So yeah, that was my experience. Now I gotta go sleep off this food coma. Adios, wish me up some sweet dreams because I'm gonna need whatever I can get to get through monday.
