Arkan was kicked in the head hard enough for him to rip his hand back to his side. For a brief second he stood up and then was attacked again, this time by roots. They hauled him away from the bar, away form the magic and back out into the street. The sirens were very close now and anyone who looked up at the road would see the two dead police officers.

The roots wrapped around him fiercely, restricting his movement as the girl he desperately wanted to consume walked out to meet him. He became silent, unwavering as she spoke. He did not give any sign that he could understand what she was saying. Then she stopped.

Arkan managed to free a hand and touch the vines, they slowly withered and died. Since they were made of magical means, they contained some trace of it and enough was found to be consumed. As they dropped to his feet he was now free once again and this time, he was not gentle about his approach. He lunged at the girl before him, trying to embrace her in an icy touch.

There were many magical beings in the room, each one was like a beacon of light that burned his vision. he felt the urge to consume the light, to make them black like he was. To make them dead. One such creature, a faun girl by the looks of it erupted fire magic around herself as if to shield her from his chill. It was incredibly foolish and drew him to her even more but as he approached he became aware of another girl on the ground in front of him and subsequently, an easy target.

He looked down at her, fear was in her eyes like all those who gazed upon him at one point or another. Perhaps if he had a conscience he would have felt something, maybe pity but alas he felt nothing.

He crouched down, slowly bringing his right hand on a path to touch her face.
What was it like, he wondered, to die?

Then he heard her, a voice amidst his pain, faint at first but steadily growing. His strength wasn't as well as it should have been but he could still grasp the situation. There was hope, and it strengthened him even more.

"Cassandra? Cassandra!" He shouted weakly still. He had partially thrown out his voice when he shouted before. Then he became aware of a new voice, another feminine voice spoke to him, telling him to remain calm.

"Vanessa?" He hard heard Riley mention her name but never met her. What a turn of events, he wondered why she was here but quickly brushed that from his mind. Cassandra must have told her to come help after they heard him shouting. Now she was here to rescue him? Billy was just relieved that he wouldn't die alone and broken at the bottom of a ravine.

Billy saw a silhouette approach, definitely female but he couldn't make out her details. He followed her instructions and was ready to grab onto her. How odd was that?
A man ran out of the building the Arkan was fixated on. Sirens were sounding in the distance behind him, it seemed the policewomen had called in backup before she was killed. It did not matter to him.

His sword was scraping the sidewalk, small sparks ran a muck under it. Then he was in front of the door. Arkan's cold hand gripped the handle, twisted and opened the door. A cold, unnatural wind blew through as his presence fit the door frame.

His sword gleamed in the light as he took a step inside, before lunging at the group before him.

Okay with what now?
Arkan made his way through the lit streets at a slow pace. Those that were out looked at him with extreme suspicion but mostly horror. It wasn't every night that a shambling knight wearing armor that looked like something from a movie, came walking down the street ignoring everything. It was true, those few who were out driving honked their horns at him as he slowly passed them in the street, even coming close to get hit. None of these things did he pay attention too, much to the annoyance of the drivers.

This continued until a lone police car rounded a corner and saw him meandering on the street. He was close to his destination, perhaps a little further and he would arrive at a place where magic had seemed to gather in one location. It was insatiable, they closer he got the more he became frenzied. His slow pace turned into a brisk walk and then the police saw him.

Then The lights flashed and they pulled over, Arkan still did not pay attention. Normal humans seemed to not have any magic, or it was hidden way to the point where he could not see it. So to him, they were not only useless, but also not a threat until they were foolish enough to provoke him.

"You there, Halt!" shouted a lanky policeman with a bushy mustache. He had exited the car and was approaching Arkan but still he walked on, oblivious. Another officer, a women with long blonde hair stood at the passenger door calling it in.

The police officer approaching him commanded him to halt once more and put his hands up and Arkan did not. Then the policeman placed a hand on his shoulder and his face turned white, as Arkan turned toward him, revealing a blackened shadow under his helmet. In a flash Agony was in his hand and he brought it up, cutting the officer's arm in half.

The police officer screamed, falling onto the ground and clutching his now bleeding wound. Pain contorted his face as his screams pierced the night. After seeing this the policewomen brought out her gun and shot him, unloading the clip. The bullets did little damage but cause him to turn his attention towards her.

In a swift few steps he was at the car, grabbed her throat and broke the neck. Her corpse fell to the ground, eyes wide open. The other officer had gone unconscious, not from the pain but from blood loss. Another unfortunate side effect, once inflicted by the blade, the victim could not pass out by the pain.

Arkan made his way to the street and continued on, the bar was extremely close and he would be there soon.
Billy is now crippled. Unless helped, he will never make it back to the camp.
The withered body slumped to the floor with a soft thud. The poor man used to be a magic user, before it was ripped from him by the darkened warrior who stood over his corpse. He hadn't thought twice about opening the tomb, even though it had a pretty powerful protection sigil over it and even a warning, "Here lies Arkan, agony and all. Beware his horror and flee." It was instantly disregarded and he nullified the protection spell.

Upon opening the tomb he was met with a strange sight. There was what appeared to be a suit of armor unlike anything he had seen before. It would probably catch a splendid price on the right market and as he went to touch it, he became aware of the amulet around the corpses neck. It was beautiful, made of diamonds and seemed to say, "touch me". It was his biggest mistake.

As he put a finger on it, the suit of armor seemed to heave before an incorporeal veil of grey started seeping from it. Then its right hand came alive, snatching his by the wrist. It was ungodly cold and his life seemed to flee before his eyes, as he tried to scream but not a sounds came out. It was over in minutes, and Arkan then emerged from his tomb, restored but still hungered for magic. Always hungered.

The demon looked back at the tomb and removed his sword, Agony, from its depths. The sword was unimpressive looking but the taint of his powers had leeched on it, causing the sword to become powerful in its own right. Simply touching the blade end would cause a living person's hand to throb slightly. A cut would send the weakest to their knees and anything worse then that would be indescribable. It truly took talent and the will to tolerate pain, to even have the chance of overcoming the dangerous magic placed upon it.

Arkan then left his tomb, then the crypt at a slow pace, never seeming to be in a hurry but his steps had purpose. He emerged from what appeared to be a large drainage pipe in the middle of a ditch. He shambled up the side, coming face to face with what looked like a large town in the distance. He began to walk towards it, the pull of magic was calling him ever so slightly like a breeze. He was a leaf in the wind and those that relayed upon magic were beacons within the dark.
Hmm, valid points. Feel free to hear him then, perhaps by the time you get to Billy it wont be too late.
That's a good question. From my point of view the campsite is in the middle, you guys went off in one direction and Billy went in the opposite. He went far into the forest to throw up but then the growling sent him even further in, plus he is in a ravine. I'm guessing maybe Even would hear him. Probably not any other humans though. For the two werewolves, its entirely up to them and their sense of hearing.
