Some people need to make a hard choice when deciding which two karaoke streams they want to listen to. I have no such weakness: I have two ears for a reason.

The hard part about trying to play some politically savvy mastermind is the assumption that the world operates off real world politics and not your DM’s politics.

Don't put too much stock in prophesies. At best they're full of shit, but more often than not they're one of those self-fullilling kinds. Plan for what happens afterwards instead.

A character isn't deep or compelling just because you let them get hurt a lot, are always depressed, or do morally questionable things.

Bio

If you're here either you're wondering what I'm doing cause I need to post in your RP (In which case, calm yo tits, I'll get around to it), or you want to know who I am. So let's begin.

I'm a college age asian kid who has more heart than he has senses. I'm still working out this whole "adulthood" thing, so until then I just do what I feel I must. As far as personality and traits go, I'm not one for boasting. So if there's anything redeeming about myself you'd have to figure it out in person or by word-of-mouth. Generally however I'm rather perverted, in the best and worst ways. nothing is too much until I've crossed the line, and that just means I've started.

As far as Roleplays I like, I have a thing for fantasy, though I'm also good for some types of sci-fi, supernatural, Modern, and slice-of-life. If it's open and sandbox, I'll probably join it. Never really been a romantic, I often chose to sexualize any notion of romantic encounters I come across. I generally write at Casual quality, though I have no issues with Free-Level Rp/Players and I can hold my own in Advance.

Yerro smiled politely and bowed his head. "Heh, thank you kindly! To be honest I thought you might be a bit disappointed. I mean, I can't even get my own kids to appreciate a good book. They'd rather be off playing on the docks or listening to tales at the tavern. Even the temple and their sermons get their attention better than my books do." He seemed to gripe for a bit, but then perks up. "Well, not that you need to worry about that. I bet if I tell them a story about you and your appreciation for books, that might convince the minnows to read! Now then, is there anything else I can help you with?"
The rest of her day went by uneventfully. Though the waters were rough as the day grew late, it was nothing that would be an emergency. In fact it seemed that once the night began, the waters calmed down considerably. Still the captain wasn't going to be careless and made sure to have the ship fully manned. Though not quite as numerous as it is during the day, the night shift consisted of races such as half-orcs and dwarves, those capable of seeing in the dark and generally hardy people. You'd soon hear a knock on your door to let you know that the night watch was beginning. It was Sticky, one of the cabin boys. As his name implies he's rather lanky and skinny, especially for a full-blooded orc. He resembled a tree or quite possibly a dark green elf, depending on what angle you look at. Of the crew members, Sticky is one of the few who is consistently willing to spare with you when he's not busy himself.

"Ah, good mornin! I m-mean good night! Uh, wot I mean ta say, I'm 'ere ta tell ya it's da night watch now! Boss told me ta tell ye, in case ye ah, sleep in or sumthin." He spoke in a typical orcish accent, though not quite as heavy as the other orcs who seem to speak some combined language of common and their native orcish. Compared to most orcs you've met, Sticky only seems slightly below average intelligence, as oppose to very low. In any case it was indeed night time now, and your vision is in a gray scale. Sticky didn't bring anything to provide illumination, not even a candle. You could hear the snoring of other crewmembers down the hall as well as the ocean waves just outside.
Oh man about time I posted eh?
@Hekazu

I'll do the AoO on that guy running towards Kyra. No reckless, but I think I hit for 16. The Damage is a nice 10.
“Excellent! And don’t think I forgot your reward. I’m sure the others have given you something amazing, so uh... Well, o hope you accept this humble gift.” Yerro went to fetch a few books. “My father once told me the best thing you can give someone is enlightenment. These are a few books I’ve had that has always helped me do business, so I figured you could use them. I don’t know if you’re much of a reader, but I always find a good book helps ease the mind.” There were three books here, the biggest being a time called “Herbs and Edibles V. I”, then two considerably smaller books called “Tales of Spice and Wolves” and “Traveler’s Guide To Gransys”.

“If you ever feel like foraging, the Traveler’s Guide has a handy list of things that are and aren’t safe to eat. The herbs book is also good if you ever want to identify important herbs and ingredients. The last book, Tales of Spice and Wolves, that’s a work of fiction but it’s a tale I’ve always loved. Really gives you a first-person perspective of the traders life, with some tips and tricks.”
Yerro’s shop was less busy than the general store. He had one family looking around, but otherwise it was very calm. Yerro himself was stocking his shelves with new produce. “Hello, welcome. Oh! The hero of the day! I see you e brought that dress Aestella had made! You look wonderful!” Yerro says with a smile as he wipes his hands. “I bet you’ve paid a pretty for that. Don’t suppose you have some coin left over to buy some food for your journey? Ha ha!”
“Of course lassie. Tis a shame you won’t be staying, but I understand you have places to be, things to do. I’m sure this has been said many times before but, if you ever need a home, Cassari will always be here for ya.” Andras says with a smile as he pats your shoulder proudly. More customers begin to enter the shop, forcing him to give you a brief goodbye as he tends to other customers.

It is still morning. Plenty of time to go about your business today. The two jars you’ve received were fairly small, small enough to fit in the sleeves of your new outfit or on the pockets of your backpack. There was still Yerro you can meet for his reward, as well as the temple for information about your arrival. Much of Cassar was still unexplored as well. Many roads to travel from here.

“Jar of Dragon Spit is 30 gold each, and the medicine is 20 each. I should warn ya, the medicine is very stinky. Use too much at once and you might draw some unwanted attention!” Andras chuckled as he walked over to open the glass display.
“Ah well... To be frank with you, we don’t really have much dealings with the Majadan. Sure we dock up with them, have a few contacts on their shores, but we don’t have much business there. Very militant you know? If luck ain’t in our favor they might just extort is for supplies or some nonsense, so we keep our stay brief. Best I can tell you is that they’ve got some of the strongest spellswords in the world, and one of the few nations that actively engage in slavery. Good thing you’re no smallfolk, or else you might wake up in chains if you stay there.”
