Some people need to make a hard choice when deciding which two karaoke streams they want to listen to. I have no such weakness: I have two ears for a reason.

The hard part about trying to play some politically savvy mastermind is the assumption that the world operates off real world politics and not your DM’s politics.

Don't put too much stock in prophesies. At best they're full of shit, but more often than not they're one of those self-fullilling kinds. Plan for what happens afterwards instead.

A character isn't deep or compelling just because you let them get hurt a lot, are always depressed, or do morally questionable things.

Bio

If you're here either you're wondering what I'm doing cause I need to post in your RP (In which case, calm yo tits, I'll get around to it), or you want to know who I am. So let's begin.

I'm a college age asian kid who has more heart than he has senses. I'm still working out this whole "adulthood" thing, so until then I just do what I feel I must. As far as personality and traits go, I'm not one for boasting. So if there's anything redeeming about myself you'd have to figure it out in person or by word-of-mouth. Generally however I'm rather perverted, in the best and worst ways. nothing is too much until I've crossed the line, and that just means I've started.

As far as Roleplays I like, I have a thing for fantasy, though I'm also good for some types of sci-fi, supernatural, Modern, and slice-of-life. If it's open and sandbox, I'll probably join it. Never really been a romantic, I often chose to sexualize any notion of romantic encounters I come across. I generally write at Casual quality, though I have no issues with Free-Level Rp/Players and I can hold my own in Advance.

”A black skeleton? That sounds profane. Pylia’s magic is divine in nature which could explain how she made it leave, but why would it approach her on the first place? And you said it only spoke to her... Not fight her? That does sound similar to when I spotted her. She was dirty from falling to her knees, but she had no weapons or wounds. This is all very strange.” Buddy crossed his arms and tried to think of a reason when Pylia peeked her head out. She seemed to have washed up already and went over to the closet to grab her pack. She glances over to the beds to see you asleep and Shortfang busy with his crafting before returning to the water closet with her pack. Buddy stood still as a statue but watched.

”I wonder what she plans to do with that. Sometimes tells me she is t just doing laundry in there.”
Indeed, it barely took you more than five minutes before you’d fall asleep. It has been a very long and tiring day for you after all. Shortfang himself was still awake making a few crossbow bolts by the fire while Pylia could be heard washing her clothes in the nearby water closet. When Buddy saw your ghostly form he finished cleaning his axe and looked to you. ”How did it go? Pylia does not seem harmed.”
Hell yeah man, I wanna carry enough weapons that I could use them as armor!

That reminds me of a very gimmick and silly build in Pathfinder where you could potentially have some crazy AC thanks to having an abundance of enchanted weapons, due to the wording of an ability that basically said “add +1 AC for every different magical weapon (so two magic longswords would just be +1, but a magic longsword and battleaxe is +2) that is not ammunition in your possession”, so people had these crazy dumb ideas of just being walking armories and using spells to enchant the weapons to have like, 30+ AC on type of fullplates and shields. Naturally this got errata’d.

In any case I got nothing else to add.
“Alright. It’s getting late, you should head to bed.” Pylia says as she walks over. “I’ll try to be quiet, though frankly a lot of our things need a thorough washing... Ah, if it wasn’t this late Is hire someone to launder everything... Alas. Anyways goodnight, if you go to keep before I do.” Pylia heads inside of the water closet, closing the door behind her as she washes up and cleans the filth out of the clothes. Shortfang had taken the dishes outside of the room, leaving you alone with Buddy who was standing by the door as he often does. He seemed to be doing maintenance on his axe, cleaning, piling, and sharpening it.
Shortfang nodded. “Mhmm. Shortfang understand that. Deadbeat, like person who leave tribe but don’t give back what they take. Shadowrun have that problem. Lotta mommy kobolds, but no papa kobolds. Shortfang’s pa stay in tribe to help sisters who no have papa kobolds.” Soon Pylia came out from the water closet and called you over. “The water is warm now, so go ahead and wash up. I’ve mended the clothes and I’ll wash them after you’re done so we don’t waste any water. By the way Shortfang, have you washed already?” The kobold grunts. “Shortfang not stinky! Is okay. Go do silly human washy thingie!”

Well I’ll admit this one was more related to a grander legacy aka her grandfather is actually one of my older dnd characters in Faerun, though he can easily adapt to this verse as well. In any case her grandfather is also a half-orc who was born as a pirate, though most of his duties growing up involves cooking, at least until he was old enough to start fighting, and even then he still cooked when he wasn’t fighting. One thing led to another and eventually he became a full fled adventurer, exploring and going out in journeys with new people to grow stronger, but also pursue his dreams of settling down and getting a family. He ended up getting a formal education in cooking at a fictional chef’s guild called the College of Gluttony, a very prestigious but also harsh academy of the culinary arts. He survived the grueling process of gaining his masters as a chef via the college, and shortly after retired from adventuring to pursue his career as a chef, using his fortunes amassed as an adventurer to fund his restaurant and invest in businesses that would help him.

As for where he learned how to rear cattle, that’s thanks to his wife, a wood elf Druid. She helped him a lot about how to have a more personal connection to animals, as well as how to rear and take care of them in sickness and health. She eventually passed away however, killed due to reasons beyond the scope of Shura. But point is that’s where he learned about how to raise cattle, since he specializes in surf and turf foods.

In any case, his restaurant and farm are both likely at the Capital. He’s still a man of the sea at heart, so he prefers to live near the ocean so he can also get fresh fish and seafood. Being a half-orc he’s still fairly spry into his old age, though he’s starting to lose it in the head, so his business is mostly be ran by his employees, though he himself is still the head chef. He has a some and daughter, both half-elves, though only the son is his child by blood, and that son is Shura’s father, the elves scholar.
“Ooooooh, so like ancestor?” How Shortfang knew the word ancestor but not grandparent was something of a mystery, however he seemed to understand the jist of it. “Shortfang don’t know grandparents. Pa’s parents dead before Shortfang born, so is ma’s parents. Shortfang have brothers and sisters, but dunno where they go. Thought Shortfang find at Sewer Dragons, but nah.” Taking a coin in his hands, Shortfang gave them a quick snap, causing them to spin around on the table like a top. “Why Boss live with grandparents and not parents? Parents die?” He asked bluntly.
“Ah yeah, med-di-tate. You fight like fist fighter! Shortfang only see few fist fighter, like you. Shortfang wanna Be fist fighter when young, but he too small, fist don’t hurt enough.” Shortfang finishes up his meal and piled the plate on top of themselves before drinking more ale. “Hey hey, what’s grandparent? They like... Greater parent?” He seemed confused at the term. Might not be something kobolds are familiar with.
@rush99999

I imagine it involves cheese. Specifically, Shura has been living in Swampmuck for a while, but I would assume what make Shura a folk hero was one particularly bad harvest season and a brutal winter, limiting the food in the village. Shura, being the mad lass she is, went into overdrive and made a lot of cheese, even killing a few of her precious dairy cows in order to provide enough food for the village during the winter. It was also during this time that she invented (I.e. I am stealing) the cheese steak sandwich, a staple during these hard times.
@Mae

Shura brought a farm from a family, but no she is first generation cheese farmer. Her parents are typical adventurers. Most of her upbringing involving learning how to be a cheese farmer. And yeah, I think I forgot to add the rustic feature, I’ll add that in soonish. Gratzi!
