Some people need to make a hard choice when deciding which two karaoke streams they want to listen to. I have no such weakness: I have two ears for a reason.

The hard part about trying to play some politically savvy mastermind is the assumption that the world operates off real world politics and not your DM’s politics.

Don't put too much stock in prophesies. At best they're full of shit, but more often than not they're one of those self-fullilling kinds. Plan for what happens afterwards instead.

A character isn't deep or compelling just because you let them get hurt a lot, are always depressed, or do morally questionable things.

Bio

If you're here either you're wondering what I'm doing cause I need to post in your RP (In which case, calm yo tits, I'll get around to it), or you want to know who I am. So let's begin.

I'm a college age asian kid who has more heart than he has senses. I'm still working out this whole "adulthood" thing, so until then I just do what I feel I must. As far as personality and traits go, I'm not one for boasting. So if there's anything redeeming about myself you'd have to figure it out in person or by word-of-mouth. Generally however I'm rather perverted, in the best and worst ways. nothing is too much until I've crossed the line, and that just means I've started.

As far as Roleplays I like, I have a thing for fantasy, though I'm also good for some types of sci-fi, supernatural, Modern, and slice-of-life. If it's open and sandbox, I'll probably join it. Never really been a romantic, I often chose to sexualize any notion of romantic encounters I come across. I generally write at Casual quality, though I have no issues with Free-Level Rp/Players and I can hold my own in Advance.

Hmm hmm hmm. I kinda wanna make a CS for a skeleton commander of sorts, kinda like the only smart skeleton among Mamoru's crew. He'll probably only like, level 30 or something. I'll make a CS for him soonish.
Diamond's surprising onslaught was doing notable damage to the Grime Slime, not because the individual strikes were doing much, but because she was piling upon many attacks. The slime spilled some of the acid from it's mouth, staggering it just as Delmina slammed her shield into it. It too didn't do much damage, but thanks to Diamond's onslaught the drain attack pierced right through the Grime Slime and dispersed it into a harmless mass of purplish goo. Not long after the remains of the lost and the slime dispersed. It would be some time before they would reform, allowing the three a moment of respite.

Near the Grime Slime was the source of the faint red light. It appeared to be a some sort of digital key-card, covered in ash. A quick search of the room would reveal a smaller room containing a relatively fresh looking corpse of someone who might've been through here before. Some poor revenant, now turning lost, curled up underneath the counter. The body was unresponsive to any interaction, even killing it, but nearby the body was presumably his equipment. A standard issue government bayonet rifle, a few throwing daggers, and more chemical lights. Aside from this room there was another hall opposite of the one the group entered, which would lead further down into the tunnel's depths.

It was a disaster.

Courage, strength, and skill could not help you when the stupidity and cowardice of others acted far more hastily. Many of the other revenants who went with you in the first group were jaded and apathetic. They would ignore your calls to stick together or in a group and proceed into the darkness. Barely ten minutes out pass before disaster struck. Screams and gunfire could be heard as the revenant thralls were attacked by some sort of Lost. You could hear it loudly crashing through the walls, smashing things apart and killing the thralls. Worse still, the Lost had managed to strike the bomb on one of the thralls. It's ability to go off at tampering was not because it was a technological marvel, but due to it's unstable craftsman ship. Without the right know-how, even a blow from a lost was enough to trigger the explosion, turning the unfortunate revenant into ash as well as collapsing the tunnel. And if that wasn't bad enough, the resulting shockwave collapsed the floor as well, sending the first group of revenant deeper into the earth.

Despite the chaos, Ambrosio was somehow alive, but alone. He could barely make out the level which he fell from, only that he had somehow fallen into what appears to be the actual railroad tracks where trains and such would be. It was surprisingly somewhat lit here; there were dim red lights on the ceiling, perhaps some sort of emergency light from days gone past? Either way it put everything in a dark but visible red hue. So far there was no signs of Lost or the other revenants you were with. There was only forward. Immediately ahead of you was a subway train cart that sat still and lopsided due to time and erosion. In a tunnel to the left appears to be a small hall crossing leading to another set of railroad tracks, one that weren't quite as affected by the explosion upstairs.
Aha, I figured it'd be a matter of time before you'd piece together some stuff from all the 1x1 I'm running. I won't spoil too much, but here's what Talogan will know with a rudimentary education in life.

The world is surrounded by this incredibly dense fog, often on the other side of a large mountain range. This is also why there's a dent in the north east, as the mount range does not form a fully perfect circle.

Secondly, so far no one who has ventured directly into the fog as ever returned. Many heroes have tried, millions of gold spent on expedition, magic equipment, and all sorts of planar and teleportation devices, but once you go into the fog you're never heard from again. most nations have simply chosen to never explore further than the peaks of the mountains for the sake of their own resources.

Lastly, it's generally believed that the world was not always like this. While there's massive debates between scholars, religious figures, scientists, and mages, the collective consensus was that at some point long before their earliest writings, the world was not like this at all. The Mana Storms, which I told you about previously, is widely believed to be connected to the phenomenon that is the world's geography. Astronomers are certain that the sun operates within an orbit, implying that the world is truly round, or at least that the sun revolves around it in a consistent pattern, creating a typical day/night cycle with varying degrees of solstices. And planar travelers have confirmed that they have traveled to other worlds and found that their worlds are round as well, circumventing their globe in a linear journey.

So why is Keratia flat, surrounded by giant mountains surrounded by fog? No one knows. Not yet at any rate.

Oh no...

Mamoru: "Why ride a horse when she could ride a dragon?"
Looks good. You're not going to be with the current group, but with the first group. Once I get a round of posts from everyone else my next post will include you and what happened to the first group that went in. Hint: It was not good.

Also you can post your CS up.
Unlike the scrap of queen iron that Bridget swung about, Diamond’s pipe wasn’t all too effective against even lost thralls. While she did manage to kill one thrall with her pipe, it was only due to the fading remnant of her Slugger Gift and the damage it had already sustained from her light automatic. At least most of the Lost had been cleared out, allowing the girls to focus their efforts on the grime slime.

Bridget’s newfound ability would serve her well as the last few remaining lost swarm her. Five charges right at her, surely slowing the slash of her blade had she not have gained enough space to ready her strong attack, cleaving four of the five in half. The last one was at the very end and suffered only a large gash across its chest, but it was nearly dead now. He would swing his blade towards Bridget’s face, but hit or miss his fate was sealed. Regardless of how the final lost was dealt with now all that remained was the grime slime.

As the giant ooze shot its second blast at Delmina, she would avoid the impact but could still feel the weight of the projectile as it had shook the rubble near her. The vacuous venom was so potent it was even melting the cement and rebar it landed against. How a revenant fairs against the same attack would be terrifying to learn first hand. Still, this gave Delmina an opportunity to charge a drain attack against the creature. With its minions defeated its slow and sluggish attacks could only hit the revenant warriors if they were truly careless. Delmina’s blades would pierce through the Grime Slime, doing noticeably more damage than the bashing of the pipes or the tiny bullets from the automatic. However that didn’t stop the Grime Slime from charging up its next attack. But surely a combined offensive will do enough damage to finish off this beast.
Probably.
The pixie continued to maintain a strong facade by refusing your food, but her hunger got the better of her. You gave her a piece of bread and a single dried fruit, both which despite hardly being a morsel for you, were slightly larger than the pixie's own head. The waterskin was more difficult for her to drink but tipping it just enough for a little to pool at the lip would allow the pixie to eat and drink her fill. Once she had eaten the food and drank your water, she put her sword away and sighed. "My name is Othie. I... I was trying to escape. I don't know how I got on this ship honestly..." She looked back at her wings, trying to flutter them but even a small twicth caused her to wince in pain. "An evil man captured me and other pixies. He used iron spikes to pin our wings so he can harvest our pixie dust. I was only able to escape during a heavy storm and... And after that everything went black. When I awoke I was here, and already out at sea. My wings hurt, I can hardly use any of my magic, hungry... Alone..."
Tayang nodded and had Hector and Oliver bring the prisoners down, and in addition had Derrick go tend to the wound elf's ear. They have no room for corpses, and a dead elf is worth nothing at Red Shard. Once the elves were sent away the chests were brought up. Two large iron chests. It was obvious that these were not from the sea elves; iron was a horrible metal to use on the ocean as salt water would quickly erode it and cause damage. Even ones kept inside of a ship would suffer from the ocean's chaotic humidity warping wood and metal. Most sea bound chests were made of bronze or other metal that wouldn't react so violently against constant water exposure. That and the simple fact that sea elf crafts were, while complex and intricate, rarely ever made of metal.

With the two chests brought up, your crew were eager to see what bounties were inside. They were locked up tight and sealed shut, and no amount of shifting would let the crew hear what might be inside. Even taking account the dimensions and material of the chests, whatever was inside was quite heavy. However as always, Tayang made sure the crew didn't act hastily. "These chests aren't of elven design, but doesn't mean they don't have any tricks. They could have some sort of trap ready to go off if we try to tamper or force it open." He looked to the captain. "The key we got from the elves open one of these chests. Which one you think we ought to try? One on the left or the right?" Both chest looked nearly identical and both had a lock that needed a key to open it. Despite the potential for danger, the crew were looking on eagerly for loot.
