Some people need to make a hard choice when deciding which two karaoke streams they want to listen to. I have no such weakness: I have two ears for a reason.

The hard part about trying to play some politically savvy mastermind is the assumption that the world operates off real world politics and not your DM’s politics.

Don't put too much stock in prophesies. At best they're full of shit, but more often than not they're one of those self-fullilling kinds. Plan for what happens afterwards instead.

A character isn't deep or compelling just because you let them get hurt a lot, are always depressed, or do morally questionable things.

If you're here either you're wondering what I'm doing cause I need to post in your RP (In which case, calm yo tits, I'll get around to it), or you want to know who I am. So let's begin.

I'm a college age asian kid who has more heart than he has senses. I'm still working out this whole "adulthood" thing, so until then I just do what I feel I must. As far as personality and traits go, I'm not one for boasting. So if there's anything redeeming about myself you'd have to figure it out in person or by word-of-mouth. Generally however I'm rather perverted, in the best and worst ways. nothing is too much until I've crossed the line, and that just means I've started.

As far as Roleplays I like, I have a thing for fantasy, though I'm also good for some types of sci-fi, supernatural, Modern, and slice-of-life. If it's open and sandbox, I'll probably join it. Never really been a romantic, I often chose to sexualize any notion of romantic encounters I come across. I generally write at Casual quality, though I have no issues with Free-Level Rp/Players and I can hold my own in Advance.

With loot and supplies secured, the trio could continue through the area. Again not much here aside from the ruins of an older time. There were even less lost corpses here than the larger station, and all of them were quite dead. The tunnels almost felt like they would stretch on for miles as they walked until eventually they would come across and notable sight. It appeared to be a large hole in the wall, but not one formed as a tunnel or man-made structure. It looked more like something had broken the concrete and burrowed through. There was a single piece of plywood serving as a makeshift door which could easily be opened or destroyed, and inside was a small den of sorts. It had a bedroll, an oil lantern, and the real treasure: a six-pack of unopened beer, though it was missile a bottle. Seemed like this was some sort of revenant hide-away.

Further inspection of the bedroll would reveal a few scraps of paper inside as well. They appeared to be a crudely drawn map. It was mostly just a bunch of lines connected to scribbles, but it wouldn't take long to realize that the lines were the subway tunnels. And apparently there were a lot. But it would reveal some relatively important locations. Continuing down this tunnel will lead to another station that appears to have a staircase going up and one going down. The stairs going up led to what appeared to be a some sort of flower, while the stairs leading down led towards a black tear drop. Aside from that following the path backwards, the previous room the trio was in was marked with a bold letter L and then a large bold X, while that continued towards the gate you were all pushed through labeled G. You'd find similar markings if you followed through other tunnels, though there didn't seem to be any immediate ways to connect to them based off this map.

Ambrosio continued onwards and went towards the intersection. The miasma was surprisingly thin here; while still risky to take off one's mask apparently there aren't a lot of Lost here. He'll find a whole lot of nothing unless he's interested in rocks and twisted bits of metal, but soon he'd hear a noise up ahead. It sounded like voices. Young voices. There was only a few seconds to hide before the voices would make an appearance: two children. One of them was holding a light automatic while the other had a sack on their person. "Yazzy I'm bored. We've already been through here like a million of times. Still the same old cans and grease as always, why do we have to go so slow?" This voice sounded like a young boy. The one with the gun grunted, sounding like a slightly older boy. "We haven't survived this long by being careless and I know I heard that explosion nearby. It might just be another collapse, but until we check it out we don't know what might happen." Neither of these boys had any sort of illumination with them, but their masks appeared to be equipped with some sort of lens that glowed a faint green light. The one with the gun looked around and started walking in Ambrosio's direction, watching out for any dangers but he doesn't seem to have actually noticed the revenant yet.
Mamoru had to think on how to secure the area. It seemed that Gromgard's actual fighting goblins had a limited range. While no doubt goblins like Shill and Pen could stay here, their whole mission here was to take them back to the Chateau, not leave them behind. Gromgard then asked Mamoru about yellow tape which she had no idea what he was asking about. "Yellow tape? Nothing in particular. I mean, I do remember at some point using yellow tape to mark off a section of wall during renovations in the Chateau. Do you mean to say we should mark off this area to show that we're going to work on it?" Thinking about it further, that actually wasn't too bad of an idea, if a somewhat silly one. Firstly this was in the middle of the forest, not the chateau, so she doubts anyone would actually bother to heed the tape's warning or recognize it as a boundary line. And secondly, Mamoru didn't have any yellow tape with her. She did have some rope and twine.

"I do not have any yellow tape, but I do have rope. How about I section off this area with the rope, and your goblins paint it yellow? Perhaps that should be enough to warn any passerby that this area is off limits. Hmm... Oh I know, I can call a Skeleton sentry here as well. This profane area would be the perfect location for such a being, and if anyone is criminal enough to ignore the yellow tape, the skeleton can hopefully scare them off before we can send someone from the Chateau to properly investigate this location." In fact, Mamoru knew the perfect person to send here. Since there was already some human remains here, perhaps the Chateau's own Bone Daddy might make some sense of this place. It'll be killing two birds with one stone. And so Mamoru would grab a few sticks from the trees, tying rope to them to section off the ritual circle. "Now then, if your two lovely artists can paint the rope yellow, we should return to the Chateau and report our findings. I will be sending an expert to this location along with a few sentries in order to secure the area and the resources we found. I'm detecting quite a few unique components I've never discovered before, so the sooner we can get them to the Chateau, the sooner we can settle into our new home."

Upon saying this, Mamoru felt a bit forlorn. She looked upon the night sky, recognizing that it was not the one she knew, yet at the same time felt oddly familiar with it. She wasn't sure what to make of this feeling as she started to pontificate. "Strange is it not? It feels almost as if it were only yesterday that you and I were simply servants of our Creators. In all honesty I barely knew anyone except my creators, and even my relationship with the other Chapter Lords feel like a formality. But now... Now there is no creator but Lord Rodias, who I have never truly had any interactions with before. Seeing him so modest and treat us so kindly it..." Mamoru stopped speaking as she didn't know what else to say. Though she had shown her dedication to his rule, these feelings inside of her still felt so confusing. "My apology. I only said this because I've realized that never before have I ever actually left the Chateau without my Creator. Anytime I went anywhere was with his permission, following his guidance and example. Serving Lord Rodias... It is quite an experience, is it not?"
Indeed. I've no doubt we can easily crush a small frontier village and a few mook cultists, but if we go into a bigger city or square off against an army, we might be in for a bit of a surprise.
On one hand, this is an Overlord RP so the chances of our characters facing an actual threat is slim-to-none without a lot of self-imposed restrictions like minimizing collateral damage or something. On the other hand, therein lies the possibility of PvP via World Artifacts or some such, not to mention unlike in the anime we're level 60 and not 100. While there's still not a lot of things in this world that would be of any real threat, there could be if they're smart about it.

To put it in perspective, we're effectively the monsters in your typical D&D game. We have completely busted skills and abilities no PC's can truly get. But that doesn't mean a party of PC's can't defeat us if we're careless or if they properly prepare to deal with us. I vaguely remember that one of the Nazarick maids actually was in danger of really being killed by one of the new worlders, albeit one of their strongest mages, so it's still possible. So if the new worlders are willing to cheese us via mechanics that is unique to their world and not ours (Martial Arts for example), there is a chance they could win that we might not foresee.

But that's also why some of us have been sent out to scout the world and figure out what it can and can't do. Nothing more embarrassing than getting your Overlord on and getting wiped out but what is actually an industrial-like magitech verse.
Ye. Tbh when I was still but a youth I loved the idea of clones as a power because it allows both the easy tactic of just zerging your opponent with numbers, while at the same time since the clones think more or less like you if you had the mind to do so you can fight in a more tactical method. Teamwork is the most OP of powers after all, and Clones with your own thoughts and memories help bypass the whole "getting to know and understand the rhythm of your partner" part of teamwork.
Yeah not to mention that in an actual fight, Mamoru does use her clone precisely to confuse her enemies about which one is the real her. They're straight up Shadow Clones but without the ability to use individual Jutsu. This would be more notable if/when she uses them for a fight and then you'd only have context clues to rely on if the Mamoru you're fighting is the real her or a copy based off whatever can be suss out from the text, and by extension what her opponent can deduce.
@Enkryption

Yeah I'm seriously considering giving her a name like Mamo or something like that. Mamoru's Clone is just a mouthful you know? But at the same time, it's still essentially the same Mamoru, but a clone. While she lacks the original's abilities she still has the same attitude and personality, even if somewhat more self-aware of her inevitable nature. It's like, anything Mamoru says or does is pretty much spot on for how the original would act.
As you mention waiting for Pylia, Dinah went over to Pylia and smacked her face with her tendrils. This caused Pylia to sneeze and look at Dinah with annoyance. "Mhmm... I'm awake, I'm awake..." Though she turned over to sleep, Dinah continued to pester Pylia until she sighed and picked up the cat in her arms, sitting up on the bed while rubbing it's cheeks. "Okay okay I'm up. Good morning everyone." Pylia yawned and looked over to you two while still trying to gather her mental faculties together. "Oh, did you get breakfast already? Or lunch even? I'm pretty sure I didn't sleep in too late..."
Mamoru had satisfied herself by keeping watch, scanning the area for resources, though she did take a short break to join Gromgard for a snack. Contrary to appearances, he seemed quite... Laxs. Certainly he rules his goblins with an iron fist, but appears to be more of a carrot than a stick type of commander. This genuinely surprises Mamoru as she had always figured that practically all of the other chapter keepers rule their minions through fear or power. Even Mamoru handled her skeletal servants with a certain amount of detached disdain. Then again, she was little more than the figurehead of the skeletal servants. She didn't even make them. It just reminded Mamoru that she truly had very little purpose on her own. She needed, no, wanted something to drive her onward. A mission in life.

Once their break was over the group continued exploring a bit more before eventually they stumbled upon the ritual site. Some sort of crude ritual took place here obviously. The grounds were profaned, which while maybe an issue for the likes of the goblin artists, just about everyone else of suitable level would not be bothered by such low level magics. It did, however, give Mamoru an idea. "Yes, let us head back. I've seen enough so far, so I'll make my report to Rodias Master once we return. This area is quite rich in low level minerals, so I'm sure that it would service the chateau greatly. If I may request, could you perhaps leave a few goblins at this ritual site to keep the natives from locating it? I believe this location may be of some use for the Chateau."

Meanwhile throughout the nondiscrimination time, Mamoru has stayed with Rodias, watching over him and the shenanigans he gets into from afar. She keeps a wide birth from him when he enters the domain of others, but she otherwise tends to him subtly, often directing skeletal servants to serve him whenever he comes across some minor annoyance or displeasure. But sure enough, once the appeal of being at his unknown beck-and-call started to waver, Mamoru got lazy. She simply assigned a few skeleton butlers to trail Rodias and keep in contact with her while Mamoru wandered around the Chateau. Most everyone was off doing something important, even the real her, while she was basically acting as a glorified handmaiden. Which she technically was, and it turns out that's incredibly boring!

And so Mamoru went to go visit Flan. Wasn't as if she had any actual tasks that couldn't be handled by the skeletal butlers, and this way Mamoru could gorge herself on delicious treats. Being a clone, Mamoru didn't worry about her weight since she'll no doubt be dismissed once Mamoru comes back, and if she was really concerned she could just go kill herself and lose all the weight that way. As long as the original doesn't get too chubby, her clones could happily eat without worrying about their figures and their incredibly short lifespans. So upon entering the kitchen Mamoru announced her presence loud and clearly.

"Flan du Rosemary vuu Succulence Ral Thyme Sauerkraut, it is I, Mamoru Dracobreaker! I've come to acquire delicious treats on behalf of the Chateau, post haste!" It was then that Mamoru also realized that Chuunitrix was here. Her expression stiffen. She had no idea why such a uncouth person was here, and worse still eating everything she could reach. If Mamoru did not act quickly, there would be nothing to eat at all! "What heresy! Flan, do you need my aid to save your kitchen from this insatiable beast?"
