Some people need to make a hard choice when deciding which two karaoke streams they want to listen to. I have no such weakness: I have two ears for a reason.

The hard part about trying to play some politically savvy mastermind is the assumption that the world operates off real world politics and not your DM’s politics.

Don't put too much stock in prophesies. At best they're full of shit, but more often than not they're one of those self-fullilling kinds. Plan for what happens afterwards instead.

A character isn't deep or compelling just because you let them get hurt a lot, are always depressed, or do morally questionable things.

Bio

If you're here either you're wondering what I'm doing cause I need to post in your RP (In which case, calm yo tits, I'll get around to it), or you want to know who I am. So let's begin.

I'm a college age asian kid who has more heart than he has senses. I'm still working out this whole "adulthood" thing, so until then I just do what I feel I must. As far as personality and traits go, I'm not one for boasting. So if there's anything redeeming about myself you'd have to figure it out in person or by word-of-mouth. Generally however I'm rather perverted, in the best and worst ways. nothing is too much until I've crossed the line, and that just means I've started.

As far as Roleplays I like, I have a thing for fantasy, though I'm also good for some types of sci-fi, supernatural, Modern, and slice-of-life. If it's open and sandbox, I'll probably join it. Never really been a romantic, I often chose to sexualize any notion of romantic encounters I come across. I generally write at Casual quality, though I have no issues with Free-Level Rp/Players and I can hold my own in Advance.

Tiny flying creatures eh? Well off the top of my head you're basically a Pixie, but as far as 5e race proxies go, perhaps one of the four-season elves? Pretty sure those fairies are divided up by seasons or elements or something. In any case, I'll be working on Hamm, and figure something out once I get my pig on.
Ya ha! I see you're out on the hunt now too. Robots are cool, but considering that Wall-A's are giant robots that crush stuff, how about a grappling based class? Barbarian probably works for that, or fighter. Crush em with your giant metal body.
Thankye kindly boss! I'll made the adjustments accordingly. Excited to play.
Yeah boi! Shame about the no UA, but tbh a lotta them are pretty broken. Or are we allowed to use UA spells? If we are, Id like to pick Healing Elixir as one of my warlock spells. If not, not too much of an issue, though I may still lean towards Ranger.

But if I do, what favored terrain would come up the most? I know Waterdeep is a coastal town but what if we do stuff away from the docks or in the sewers? Would Underdark fit better?
@Expolar

I will concede for Alter Armament being concentration based and usable only nonmagical weapons (or alternatively overwrites any current magic enchantments), but I will still ask that it can be used on ranged weapons as well.

To be frank, thrown weapons are shit. The action economy for them makes than worse than crossbows which at least have an excellent feat which makes crossbows competitive. It requires your single object interaction to draw a weapon, which effectively means that once you get extra attack you can make at most two thrown weapons attack if you’re already wielding a throw weapon, and end that turn with no weapon. If you were not wielding a throw weapon you’ll need to drop it, draw your weapon, than attack, and that still limits you to just the one thrown weapon and one attack.

There’s also the issue of a sever lack of abilities that support a thrown weapon build. Strictly speaking, most of the thrown weapons (javelin, Spears, daggers, handaxes, light hammers, tridents) are not range weapons, and thus don’t benefit from things such as archery fighting style or Sharpshooter even when used as a thrown weapon. Conversely they still suffer penalties such as ranged attacks with a melee adjacent enemy. The only ranged thrown weapons are the dart and the net, with the dart being a vastly inferior dagger by virtue of being illegible for melee combat, and the net having a whole slew of problems requiring multiple feats and specific class combinations just to make it mildly viable. And neither of these weapons are very powerful. In fact the “strongest” thrown weapon is the spear, and only if you allow it to be thrown with two hands for 1d8 damage, otherwise it’ll be the javelin as it’s the only thrown weapon with the longest range (30 ft).

This word spew is to emphasis the importance of Alter Armament enable a strength based character such as Orchid having access to an actual viable ranged weapon that can operate further than her walking speed, as plenty of range weapons can be useful for any strength based character if they simply were able to have the finesse property. And again frankly speaking, most bows in real life relies far more on the archer’s physical strength than his agility, as longbows has very high tension levels. Your typical whispy high dex/low strength elves would never be able to draw an arrow on your average English longbow. This spell exist to introduce this factoid.

Ashbrand gave the octopus he was fighting two hefty slashed as the beast started to strangle him, but he otherwise seemed to be doing just fine. Meanwhile the octopus you fought was trying to pull Azure off the boat. Dropping your dagger you reached out and wound manage to brace your foot against the wet deck wood, holding your ground and preventing the octopus from getting away. This surprised the beast that you could somehow over power it, unaware of the curse placed upon it. At that same moment, Vehafor pummeled the octopus with his shield and spiked mace, while Azure raged against the beast, slashing her blade with reckless abandon even as the beast tightened its grip around her neck. The beast was on its last legs however, you can tell from how much it struggles to maintain its grip on Azure, and you’re certain a solid blow would be all that’s needed to slay the creature.

Unfortunate but understandable mate. This virus has been affected us all in more ways than one. We’ve been at this for a long while and I’m sure that even after a month passes, some of not all of us will be ready and willing to jump back into the saddle when you’re good and able. Take care of yourself boss, and we’ll see you later.
Nice. I’ll likely make a Warforged Ranger. I’ll probably go for Gloomstalker. Though there isn’t really an “Urban” favored terrain. Would Coast work? Pretty sure Waterdeep is next to the ocean. Or perhaps a warlock. I have ideas for a warforged warlock...
Would you allow Warforged race?
Acquisition Incorporated sounds interesting but as Idea mentions, if it’s really outside of the scope of DnD may be best avoided. Dragon Heist or Storm King would probably be my two preferred, as Mad Mage seems like more of a dungeon crawl which, while fun, tends to grind down my motivation after a while when it seems like relentless survival and fighting, with a lack of roleplaying and social interactions, a problem I had in my first and only CoS game I played.
