Some people need to make a hard choice when deciding which two karaoke streams they want to listen to. I have no such weakness: I have two ears for a reason.

The hard part about trying to play some politically savvy mastermind is the assumption that the world operates off real world politics and not your DM’s politics.

Don't put too much stock in prophesies. At best they're full of shit, but more often than not they're one of those self-fullilling kinds. Plan for what happens afterwards instead.

A character isn't deep or compelling just because you let them get hurt a lot, are always depressed, or do morally questionable things.

Bio

If you're here either you're wondering what I'm doing cause I need to post in your RP (In which case, calm yo tits, I'll get around to it), or you want to know who I am. So let's begin.

I'm a college age asian kid who has more heart than he has senses. I'm still working out this whole "adulthood" thing, so until then I just do what I feel I must. As far as personality and traits go, I'm not one for boasting. So if there's anything redeeming about myself you'd have to figure it out in person or by word-of-mouth. Generally however I'm rather perverted, in the best and worst ways. nothing is too much until I've crossed the line, and that just means I've started.

As far as Roleplays I like, I have a thing for fantasy, though I'm also good for some types of sci-fi, supernatural, Modern, and slice-of-life. If it's open and sandbox, I'll probably join it. Never really been a romantic, I often chose to sexualize any notion of romantic encounters I come across. I generally write at Casual quality, though I have no issues with Free-Level Rp/Players and I can hold my own in Advance.

Heading back to the castle town, sure enough people were staring. More whispers and hushed remarks as you went pass. Some didn't even bother to hide what they were saying and made it clear they knew you were a foreigner and wondered out loud what you wanted. The way they spoke made it sound like they expected you to be begging for money or something. They also noted how badly the group smelled and their general appearance, which made them wonder if they're suppose to be adventurers or just homeless murderers. The guards notably kept their eyes on the group as they passed, though they didn't follow. Just watched.

Soon the stares would die down as the group reached a part of the town that looked like it had more workers and craftsmen around. Unlike the people of the market district, these workers weren't labors but crafters, blacksmiths, jewelers, and other tradesmen. They dressed nicer but still looked like they were hard at work with their crafts. They were also generally too busy to give the group any attention, simply moving out of your way as they go about their business. Soon Pylia stops at a workshop. It was a tall brick and stone building, with windows and marble columns. Apparently they crafted statues and were a mason's workshop. The sign on the top of the building said "Gels Marble". Pylia gulped. "Well... I guess we're here." She was holding her arms close to her body. You could hear the sound of hammers and chisels from within the building.
Sure enough both geckos fell off the walls as giblets. It was a bloody mess and frankly one of them wouldn't have much meat left on him to eat unless you was to scrap up his remains into kebabs. Despite this overwhelming firepower the last two geckos continued to climb up until they were finally on the ridge with you. It was a narrow ridge, so it was close-quarters combat. And it wouldn't take long for them to charge at you trying to bite your legs. Their teeth were like forty switch blades being popped out all at once, ready for stabbing into some meat.
For geckos, a 5.56 round was more than enough to put down a gecko, especially with a bullet to the head. But with a .45-70, the gecko's cranium was more than shot, it was splattered, sending blood and gore to the other geckos nearby. The loud noise shocked them, leaving them stunned for just a moment. They looked around quickly and spotted you. Despite the sudden and violent death of it's fellow gecko, the other four thought of nothing but to hunt the prey before them. They quickly began to scramble up the cliff in your direction; a feat that normally would take a person a good set of climbing gear and a prayer to do, but these gecko hunter's webbed appendages and relative light weight allowed for this sort of three-dimensional maneuvering. But this greater mobility also came with an obvious weakness: these geckos wouldn't be able to dodge bullets as they climbed towards you.
From the clifftop, you could see Primm in the distance. While no desert jewel, the sight of the ruined city was a welcome reprieve for travelers thanks to being one of the few major settlements in the Mojave Wasteland. It was one of the few places with a working water reservoir, giving it immense value to traders and travelers. The town itself also had various tradesmen and crafters, mostly in electronics and even robotics. The Vikki and Vance Casino itself was it's main attraction; while it's payout is worse than Vegas and doesn't really have as much class, it still offered a fun experience if you want to waste away your caps, and the food served there is better than eating geckos and bloat flies.

Of course, that was Primm before. Ever since the NCR moved in, things started to get shaky for Primm. It's no secret that while Primm wasn't a bad town, it's vices and services were popular among unsavory folk who would stalk the hills and hit caravans trying to make it to town. Primm had it's own law to keep the peace but that was only good to stop the violence in the town, not outside of it. And when the NCR moved in, those customers stopped showing up. And since they stopped showing up, caps started to run a bit dry even as people got comfortable with the peace. Too comfortable. And thus, their current situation: lawless and taken over by common criminals, even with the NCR just a stone throw away, they too are too limited in number to commit to a operation to clear the town, who never had a good relationship with Primm either way. Then again the NCR hasn't done a very great job at being friendly with most of the Mojave's native inhabitants in the first place.

It would take about thirty minutes or so to trek down the mountain. No clear path had been beaten down yet for you to get to the town very quickly unless you want to start jumping off cliffs and hope you survive the landing. And as Bete mentioned, there are a few geckos running around hunting and being a general nusience. While smart enough to stay away from the office, the vermin showed little fear in attacking anyone on the mountain path no matter how big they are. The radiation may have made them bigger and stronger, but it also killed their sense of self-preservation.

Thus it wasn't long before you ran into small pack of gecko hunters. They seemed to be prowling for prey, and if they spotted you, you could be certain that their little brains will consider you food and try and chase you down. Fortunately you were on a ridge above them and they haven't noticed you yet, but they are searching and staying alert.
Well the biggest and most notable difference is that there isn’t a standard calendar between all the nations. Some like the northern nations that made up the former Crystal Khanate May use the same calendar system, as do the orc nations, but those two differ from one another. Even neighboring nations like the Kingdom of Bray and The Apotheate have two different calendar systems due to political reasons, aka religion. Indeed, many of the different calendars are based around dominate religions, as temples and such often hold festivals and celebrations which is used by the common folk as landmarks of sorts to know what the rough approximate dates are.

The closest thing to a global standard time is one developed by Doros, the most powerful mercantile nation, that many of its trade allies adopt for convenience when doing business. They have a calendar system that resembles out real world Gregorian calendar with seven days making up a week, twelve months making up a year, and four seasons dividing up those months. However the Doros Calendar still differs by hours because each month has 32 days, except the winter months which have 40 days. Thus the Doros calendar has 408 days in a year.
Bete was at her workstation with various computer parts scattered on her desk. From the looks of it Bete had somehow found a pipboy and was in the process of cannibalizing it's parts for something. When you arrived she looked up at you. "Ah Lizzie, about to go on a job huh?" Despite being a ghoul, Bete's voice sounded relatively normal, young even, except for one thing: A notable robot autotune. It's something of an open secret that Bete's voice is augmented by her mask, filtering her real voice to something less gravely. She doesn't like to talk about it. "Well, I've been busing with some personal projects, but I think I might have something around here. Let's see... Ah, I do have these." Bete dug around behind her desk and pulled up a small crate of bottles. They looked like Sunset Sarsaparilla bottles, however instead of a normal bottle cap they had a thick fiber cork.

"I figured since Anna doesn't bother to clean up her drinks, I'd recycle the bottles into something useful. Simple firebombs, glass bottles filled with some fuel and a little special something to make sure it can make a decent splash. Just light the cap on fire and throw it at something really hard, and you got yourself a little homemade incendiary bomb. Bete takes two bottles out and slides them to you. "Since you're new, you can have these two on the house. The rest however I'm stockpiling in case I need to clear out some geckos. Buuuuuut I'm willing to trade you some extra ones for say, fifty caps a pop?"
“Pay is proportional to threat. Powder Gangs play tough, but any semi-competent militia can deal with the likes of them, dynamite or not. The only reason the Powder Gangers manage to hold Primm is because they jumped the sheriff and the deputy, leaving Primm without any leadership to coordinate a counter attack. Hell, I had half a mind to go down there myself since we get supplies from Primm, but I figured this would be a good first job for you.” Annabeth pops open a bottle of sarsaparilla and takes a swig from it. She takes out another and offers it to you. ”As for any other info, watch out for Thrasher. His cronies are a bunch of chumps but there’s a reason the bounty is for him specifically. We’ve also reports that he and his band robbed a caravan running guns, so chances are each of those gangers are packing. Aside from that, you ought to be able to take care of yourself. And if you can’t well... We’ll see soon enough.”

And so the battle commenced. Many of the patrons were clearing out or cowering. A few others decided to join the barkeep in repelling the troll beast. However while the troll is no doubt the biggest threat in this room, the barkeep was right to suggest that the others first eliminate the stirges. It made sense; the barkeep would be able to hold off the troll for now, but he cannot disengage to chase down any of the flying beasts that might escape and harm others. Though Yoh doubts that the ones attached to the troll itself is are going anywhere, the ones flying above it might. And so Yoh began approaching the troll, raising his hand towards the stirges above. A faint light began to glow in the palm of his hand as he charged his magic, and once he was certain he would strike his target his closed his hand into a fist.

"Élettelëa."

Suddenly from his lone eye, a single beam of light flashed faster than an arrow, striking the stirge. Lowering his hand Yoh continued to walk towards the troll. As he walked he reached into his pocket, taking out what appeared to be a small petrified eye of a newt. Yoh raised his hand up to his head as he crushed this eye, causing his own eye to flash for a moment and cause the troll to feel a profane sense of weakness.

"Poldorë Umbar."

Pylia just rolled her eyes at your snide remark. Soon the children left, allowing Buddy to put his arms down and give you a thumbs up to affirm that he is ready to go. Shortfang still seems nervous about the situation here in Underhaven but he nods to you. "Yeah. Shortfang ready to go too." The trip back to the surface was again, uneventful. "I should really pack something to get this sewer stench off of us." Shortfang climbed onto Buddy's shoulder, pulling his hood up to keep the sun out of his eyes. "So, where to next?" He asked. Pylia turned to the group and tried to remember something. "Let's see... There's three people I want to check on, but I only know where one of them is at. He was a fellow orphan, his name is John. I believe last I remember he was adopted by someone in the craftsmen ward, which is at the castle town." Shortfang shuddered. "Okay, Shortfang will stay inside. If you need Shortfang, just shout!" Shortfang crawled into Buddy's backpack as Pylia turned to you.

"I'm sure you noticed it as we left, but we don't exactly fit in in the Castle Town. It's where the upper class live. While you and maybe Buddy might be able to pass off as wealthy travelers, I'm a bit too... Rustic, and Shortfang is a kobold. And suffice to say they have negative perceptions of kobolds." Pylia sighed deeply as she said this. "I had hoped that maybe since they expanded the temple, people would be more enlightened. But I guess as more things change, more things stay the same... Anyways I don't suspect that there'll be any trouble. Just ignore the stares."
As for Layout, the best I can describe is that Orchid and Aron are standing close to the door and are in melee with Thug B. I think Thug B is eliminated, if 11 hits. I vaguely remember that they don't have great AC but I'm not sure if their AC is 11 or 12, and I think they have around 30 HP. With Aron's 15, Orchid's 10 (5 from the glaive and 5 from booming), if her 11 hits for 9 glaive damage that should put the thug down. Also Orchid is pretty wounded.
