Some people need to make a hard choice when deciding which two karaoke streams they want to listen to. I have no such weakness: I have two ears for a reason.

The hard part about trying to play some politically savvy mastermind is the assumption that the world operates off real world politics and not your DM’s politics.

Don't put too much stock in prophesies. At best they're full of shit, but more often than not they're one of those self-fullilling kinds. Plan for what happens afterwards instead.

A character isn't deep or compelling just because you let them get hurt a lot, are always depressed, or do morally questionable things.

If you're here either you're wondering what I'm doing cause I need to post in your RP (In which case, calm yo tits, I'll get around to it), or you want to know who I am. So let's begin.

I'm a college age asian kid who has more heart than he has senses. I'm still working out this whole "adulthood" thing, so until then I just do what I feel I must. As far as personality and traits go, I'm not one for boasting. So if there's anything redeeming about myself you'd have to figure it out in person or by word-of-mouth. Generally however I'm rather perverted, in the best and worst ways. nothing is too much until I've crossed the line, and that just means I've started.

As far as Roleplays I like, I have a thing for fantasy, though I'm also good for some types of sci-fi, supernatural, Modern, and slice-of-life. If it's open and sandbox, I'll probably join it. Never really been a romantic, I often chose to sexualize any notion of romantic encounters I come across. I generally write at Casual quality, though I have no issues with Free-Level Rp/Players and I can hold my own in Advance.

I know I gotta wait my turn, but would I need to dash to reach either the kobold or our Elven enemy?
Tyrael nods plainly as he was asked to follow who he would assume to be some sort of militia captain to an inn, to discuss what had happened. He supposed it would only make sense; it's not like they could just take his unspoken word that he did a good deed. When Lynn arrived, Tyrael looked to her. She still seemed unwell but fortunately this village had some way to revitalize her. Before he would leave her, Tyraela moved closer to her ear and whispered to her. "Zastriel will be near. Call for me if you are in danger." Afterwards one of the foreign looking women offered to help the three girls, as well as another woman named Valia, to escort Lynn to oasis. He figured it would make it easier for them if Tyrael told them what he knew. "She suffered from heat exhaustion through the desert. Magic was used to stabilize her but only for a short while. She has also used her own magic to heal our wounds. While the nature of her being relies on receiving sunlight, I would ask if you could provide her an attire suitable for arid desert travel."

With not much else to say, Tyrael followed Allard to the inn. Though he was focused on gathering supplies first and foremost, the bodies outside still concerned Tyrael. A battle had taken place here not too long ago. And question is, would it happen again? "Was this town attacked by bandits? The skiff belonged to slavers, presumably having taken those girls from Kalla. But the corpses outside show it was more akin to a raid than a mere kidnapping." Though he kept his weapons sheathed and his hands open as to show that he wasn't about to draw anything, his fingers still reflectively flexed to emulating gripping his bow. If they were going to face more enemies, he will need equipment. And time. If he had a day to work with he could carve his ironwood club into a usable handle for a battleaxe, and with iron and steel he can make a suitable axe blade. Alternatively, if he could have Allard's axe, it would save him a lot of time. All Tyrael would need to do is make the shaft out of ironwood. But that was something Tyrael could deal with in the future.
Cool. Just hit me up when you finalize your CS.
Yeah, you know these orc ships are primed and ready for a fight, but their iconography is frankly meaningless if you aren't privy to their culture. Best you can tell is that one appears to be two spike circles looped through each other, another is a fairly bog standard crossed battle axe, and the last one is a basic looking skull with a spear going through it. It could have some deeper meaning, but it could also just be for intimidation factor.
You can roll a History check to see if these masts are particularly notable. There are three different masts, but you'll only need to do one check for each. Generally speaking, you know the Black Flag on a ship means that you are approaching for battle. Naturally, pretty much all the orc ships have a black flag, but their individual emblems can speak more about their particular alliances or purposes.
Unfortunate. I guess I'll have to keep looking for more people.

@Thinslayer Are you still with us? You haven't responded in a while and I just want to make sure you're interested.
Red Shard is a part of Doros, though they're kind of in the boonies. Though that's also why it's a good spot for Pirates to land and offload loot.
Sticky smiled to hear that you were accepting his request. He was barely able to contain his excitement and by trying to sit still, he just looked more giddy. "Great! Thanks Caeda! I promise I won't be dead weight! I know I didn't really do much fer ya in sum recent bouts, but I know I'll get stronga before too long! As fer da captain and crew, well most us workers got a sorta deal. See, we get paid bout 10 gold a week we work. But we only get paid once we hit land, and I've been wif dis ship fer a good two months now, plus sum days. I'll be losing bout one week's wages but I've earned enuff ta keep meself well." Putting his bowl away Sticky pondered more about what you said about the Majadan. "Can't say I know much bout da Majadan neither. Hear it's a nice enuff place, if ya only look at da good stuff. But I bet like any place it's got it's dirty business. Pretty sure the Majadan got slavery, so dat's always kinda a thing ya gotta get used ta."

Soon the waters started to get rough again and Sticky suggested that they head back below deck to avoid getting splashed by sea water. There he continued the conversation. "As fer me tinkerin, 'ere's hopin I just know wot I'm doin. I ain't edumacated like some dem cannonsmiths or wotist that I hear bout on sum of da big war ships, but I think I got a knack fer it. I've mostly been workin on me crossbow though since dat's all I got ta work wif. I ain't got a full shop ya know? But yeah! We ought ta be landing by tomorrow, an I'll be ready ta meet ya dere! I'll go talk to da captain an let em know. An... Thanks again Caeda. Ya don't know wot dis means fer me."

Upon returning to your room, Othie would come out from your bag. She was thankful for the meal and would join you in resting up for the night. Things were fairly peaceful besides the rough waters, which didn't calm down until well after you fell asleep. That night you had a strange but vague dream. You kept seeing your gauntlet flashing and growing up your arm, but beyond that there was no other meaning or context. By the time you'd wake up it would start to fade from your memories. Fortunately it seems like the ship wasn't rocking as hard as it was the day before, which meant calm waters. Othie was awake as well, though she wasn't aware that you might've been up. She was practicing her fencing, using her tiny wooden splinter to battle a bundle of straw. She was doing pretty well against an opponent incapable of fighting back and also made of fibers.
Shortfang sat at the table just relaxing. "Re-cre-a-tion-all-ly. Big word. That means fun, yeah?" Shortfang pondered. "Before Shortfang leave Shadowrunner Tribe, lotta digging. Dig for grub, or dig for roots. Not much hunt or fighting because we live in tunnel. Always work for tribe since tribe always need more food. Shortfang sometimes wonder when Shortfang learn how to fight, so busy!" He began to take off his gear, setting them onto the table. He dismantled his crossbow and started doing some maintenance on it such as replacing the bowstring and fixing some bits of wear and tear. "Even after Shortfang leave to become hero, Shortfang just sleep during day, walk at night, sometimes kill rabbit or bird to eat. Shortfang fight sometimes, but thing like wolf or maybe bear. Nothing big big. Not till Shortfang with you that Shortfang fight real big things."

Meanwhile Dinah also left out the window, off to do cat things presumably. As Shortfang was dealing with his equipment he looked back over to you. "So boss, your world, what weapon they use? They fight like you? Lotta fist and bone clubs where you come from?" Shortfang took out his shortsword. You could tell it was different from what other people had used, as his looked like it was made from some sort of bone. "Shortfang got this when Shortfang leave home. Show tribe Shortfang is good warrior, so hunt down monster. Shortfang go big: he hunt Moorbounder! Black war cat, huge teeth, jump high. Shortfang hunt alone. Eventually got em, made teeth into sword." Shortfang raised the sword to his mouth, emulating a sort of tusk. "Now Shortfang my name. But Shortfang like shooty instead. Much safer."
"Powdering the silver eh? We'll have to head back to Red Shard and get the right tools, but I'm sure that ought to be easy enough. Scrap the the other stuff lads." Tayang orders the others, who proceeded to smash the various ritual devices that weren't simply made of precious metals. When you mentioned your key set, Tayang shook his head. "Can't say there were anything locked that we couldn't just smash though. Some of the chests were locked but my axe was able to cut through em easy enough." It would seem like there was nothing else left to do. But before you could command the crew to leave, Kulee burst through the door. "Captain! Ships on the horizon! Mix of fishing ships and orc warships!"

Sure enough if you looked outside, you could see the faint shapes of ships in the distance. But their banners were easy enough for you to identify even from afar. Orc warships pride themselves are their ostentatiously detailed masts that made sure everyone could see their colors and know their intent. There were at least three of them, behind what would appear to be six or so much smaller fishing boats, likely belonging to the fishing hamlet. Based off the winds and their direction, the ships would be here in a matter of minutes. Your crew grabbed the loot and met you outside. Tayang looked at you. "Orders captain? If we leave now I think we might be able to shove off before they could reach us. But if they give chase... Shit, I don't know about our odds."
