Some people need to make a hard choice when deciding which two karaoke streams they want to listen to. I have no such weakness: I have two ears for a reason.

The hard part about trying to play some politically savvy mastermind is the assumption that the world operates off real world politics and not your DM’s politics.

Don't put too much stock in prophesies. At best they're full of shit, but more often than not they're one of those self-fullilling kinds. Plan for what happens afterwards instead.

A character isn't deep or compelling just because you let them get hurt a lot, are always depressed, or do morally questionable things.

If you're here either you're wondering what I'm doing cause I need to post in your RP (In which case, calm yo tits, I'll get around to it), or you want to know who I am. So let's begin.

I'm a college age asian kid who has more heart than he has senses. I'm still working out this whole "adulthood" thing, so until then I just do what I feel I must. As far as personality and traits go, I'm not one for boasting. So if there's anything redeeming about myself you'd have to figure it out in person or by word-of-mouth. Generally however I'm rather perverted, in the best and worst ways. nothing is too much until I've crossed the line, and that just means I've started.

As far as Roleplays I like, I have a thing for fantasy, though I'm also good for some types of sci-fi, supernatural, Modern, and slice-of-life. If it's open and sandbox, I'll probably join it. Never really been a romantic, I often chose to sexualize any notion of romantic encounters I come across. I generally write at Casual quality, though I have no issues with Free-Level Rp/Players and I can hold my own in Advance.

A shame. If it matters, I could easily change Dayvt's previous occupation to be more like a bounty hunter. Still gives him the incentive to capture people and the connection to bring them to the kind of people who'll handle criminals and those who can't be killed, but still need to be captured.
@VitaVitaAR makes sense. I would say whoever Daybt’s biological father was is a Nem, so not too much of a risk for the mother. He simply doesn’t know who the man was.

And yeah I would expect Dayvt’s old job as a Ransom Broker wouldn’t exactly fly in Estival, and serves mostly to enable some more “Black Market” contacts and explain Dayvt’s personality. That being said I would like to mention that Dayvt wasn’t strictly speaking a Slaver: most of not all of the people he ransomed are usually just soldiers, and what few civilians that did fall into his hands were usually captured camp followers and the like.

As for the nobility, while Dayvt himself probs never fought anyone worth the title his mentor certainly did, and between the choices of “killing a noble in battle” or “keep them for ransom”, the pragmatic of the two would’ve been to keep the noble alive if a mercenary can sell him off. If nothing else whoever hired Dayvt’s mentor would probably pay him a nice bounty for the capture of live nobility, further incentivizing taking people in alive. Really being able to sell people into slavery instead of killing them outright is what gives Dayvt his warped sense of morality.
Looks interesting enough. Mind if I join?

By the time Cat awoken, Donny was geared up and standing. During her sleep, Donny had to use what was left of the wood to maintain the fire. And she could easily see why: the door was frozen near solid, with a pool of water near the entrance. Cat and Donny would've frozen to death in the middle of the Cold Wave had he not burn through all of their wood supply, but now all they had left was a single log that barely had enough flames to call it an ember. Seeing Cat roused, Donny sighed and shook his head. "No. Not tired. And besides that we got to move. Cold Wave is over but we won't survive here if another comes by. We're out of wood and thus out of fuel. However... The Cold Wave no doubt would force other mutants into hiding as well, at least for a little while. So we have a very short window of time where mutants might not be roaming to start traveling. And hopefully we won't be caught in another Cold Wave when that happens."

Donny gathers what he could from the fireplace to create a new torch. This one burned a bit more brightly and steadily than the previous torch, but it wasn't certain how long it'll last. The brightest flames burn shortest after all. The swelling on his leg had gone down since he had put a bit of ice on it to reduce swelling, and carefully made sure it wasn't infected. While he won't be running any marathons he ought to heal up in a few days. He just needs to find a safe place to bunker down and heal. Before they would leave though, Donny hands Cat a small bag: one of the rations. "Freeze dried Chicken and Rice. No cooking needed, just need water. And lucky for you," Donny hands Cat a bowl of ice cold water that he melted off the frozen door. "Got something rarer than oil here. Drinkable water. Not a lot, but enough to cook with. Use it or lose it."

Work was dangerous and tedious, two things that neither Tungsten nor his Cyber Skeleton fretted about. It only took a short time for Tungsten to fix up superficial damage as he came across them, and more hazardous terrain were easily dealt with via Tungstens sheer brawn and the cooperation of his Cyber Skeletons. Indeed, while the damage to the guild was great, most did a good job minimizing its potential threat. The guild was in no more a ruinous state than one might expect from a low level dungeon.

That thought infuriated Tungsten for a moment, but he quickly casted the thought aside. The Infactorium was no noob cave, but a grand factory that produced wonders. Even in spite of the grave damages it has sustained recently, truly only something made by the Creator Gods could withstand this level of destruction. And only those chosen as its Overseers could hope to undo its damages. That being said there were some issues.

As mentioned the Cyber Skeletons did not heed danger nor tedium. While this makes them excellent workers this can leave them susceptible to the hazards that, while harmless for him, could actually kill a Cyber Skeleton. Ricky debris, getting impaled on a piece of metal, exposed wires. Things that would barely phase Tungsten, but it would kill his workers. And his workers didn’t care nor bother to look out for these dangers beyond recognizing how they are a symptom of the damage the guild has sustained. Many would waltz right into their doom if they had set their sights to repair something across treacherous terrain. This is where Tungsten was needed.

Though he shares the Cyber Skeleton’s ability to focus on mindless tedium, his greater experience and abilities allow him to not only recognize danger but act upon it. Where his workers would not care to avoid a falling stone, Tungsten would not only be able to avoid it, but have planned measures to ensure the stone would not harm himself or his workers. Such was the importance of leadership and independence. To be able to see things for himself and have others listen. These are traits that made the Creator Gods so great. Even if Tungsten could never reach their height, he aims to emulate them as best as he can.

And it was because of this vigilance that Tungsten noticed something subtly off. It was as his Skeletons worked to dismantle a now useless bulwark that he realized how dark it was. He had, of course, kept track of how long he was working, but he still felt a hint of surprise seeing how dark it already was. Then again they were in a new world now. When the sun rises and falls differs from the world he knew. More importantly in the darkness Tungsten could spot dots of fire. Even if he could not make out the details, he knew a campfire when he saw one. ”Ah. Of course. It would be foolish to think we alone inhabit this area. Creator Faetalis did mention she was going to look around the area.” He was only slightly worried. Worried because of course, as an Overseer he wishes for Faetalis to be well. Of course she was also the most powerful of them all, so there is no doubt in Tungsten’s mind that she is fully capable of taking care of herself. Still these were unknown lands with unknown threats.

And what Tungsten did know is that he, at least, lacks a military force to devote to the defense of the guild. Not while all hands were in the process of repairing the guild as is. Even as fast as they are, supplies were finite and some of the more complex structures would require individual focus instead of just a mass of cybernetic skeletons. Time was a resource, one of the many that the guild sorely needed more of. He wished he could devote a battalion to defend the guild, but a lack of numbers and subordinates would make such a desire impractical in these times. Just another thing Tungsten will need to add on his to-do list. Because there is no doubt that there are dangers in these mountains. While Tungsten hopes the guild can live peacefully with the locals, they must be prepared for war.

As raw materials were being transported for recycling Tungsten watched the skies and saw Faetalis return from her scouting. He was silently relieved to see that she was unharmed, but the fact she was here and seemed to have actively sought out her Overseers indicated that she had something important to say. Tungsten had his workers continue on without him as he went to meet with Faetalis.

The hulking robotic titan arrived at the location of one of the demolished factories. His workers have not yet reached this area as Levia was dismantling this location and frankly, it was safer to give her space until she finished. They both would greet Faetalis as she arrived, with Tungsten kneeling in due reverence. ”Welcome back, Creator Faetalis. Greetings Overseer Levia. Guild restoration is proceeding smoothly. The Infernal Engine is online and we are already stockpiling additional resources from recycled materials. My workers and I have also restored and reconnected the Big Scrap Alley to the main power grid, reactivating any communication towers, automated defenses, and minor power stations. Full structural repair is not yet completed, however I have ensured that Overseer Cormac has everything he requires to cover basic and intermediate repairs.” Tungsten reported in a smooth and calming voice. He knew that Faetalis no doubt had something important to say, so he wished to ensure her good mood by reporting good news. And fortunately they haven’t encountered any incidents yet either, so Tungsten did not have any reason to lie or conceal the truth.

”We are at your command Creator Faetalis.”
"You're awfully chatty for someone who needs to rest up." Donny said dully as Cat talked about the cold wave, her colony, and other things. It made Donny uncertain how to respond as he wasn't sure if he should also open up, or just let her chat. Maybe this was just a way for her to fall asleep? Still he let her speak as he noticed frost forming on some of the logs, despite their proximity to the fire. The cold wave continued as he tossed a few more logs onto the fire, trying his best not to let the logs freeze and get wet. Because if it did, that would create smoke... And this room wasn't nearly ventilated well enough for the smoke not to suffocate them. It made Donny curse quietly under his breath as he realized something: he needed to be very steady about maintaining both the heat, but also oxygen levels.

"Cat... I suggest you rest. This room probably isn't totally sealed in. If I burn too much wood at once, that'll consume the oxygen in this room, and subsequently we'll die from carbon suffocation. Happened in the forges all the time back with the Valklin. But even just us talking... Breathing... It's consuming the fuel the fire needs to stay hot." Donny tried to speak loudly enough to be heard but yet at the same time, almost in a hoarse voice as if he's trying his best to control his breathing. He just curls his legs closer to his body, trying to keep warm, while keeping his eyes on the door. The Cold Wave was still going, perhaps not as strong as before, but still a constant flow. "... I wonder how Underhaven handles Cold Waves. I hear they have a bunch of mutants there. Even energy thanks to their nuclear reactor. Back in the Valklin, only the boss and his closest friends and family had access to generators for heating. Would be nice to be able to warm up against something that doesn't need wood or oil."
When you went to wake up Donny, the first thing he did was grab his gun, however when he noticed it was just you he holstered it. However your words certainly got his attention. "Fucking cold wave, really? Fuck... Fuck!" Already the room's temperature started to drop, even sapping away the heat from the campfire. Donny was quick to dose one of the logs in oil and toss it onto the campfire to keep it alive, providing critical warmth. By now both of them could hear the sound of wind blowing through the halls followed by crackling noises. The Cold Wave was rapidly creating frost on the stonework and getting into cracks, forming ice that was going to wreck damage to the stability of walls, floors, and ceiling. Indeed, it's Cold Waves like these that usually brought down buildings from the old days. Though most buildings around here were built to withstand seasonal cold waves, the constant ones of the post-apocalypse had a way of bringing down even the sturdiest of buildings.

"Alright. We just got to wait this out. Stay near the fire, stay warm, I'll make sure the flame doesn't die out. Even if I have to use all the wood we got, better that we live through the cold wave than to worry about supplies later." Donny carefully stirred the ashes with a stick before adding two more logs to keep the fire going. Most of the wood was dried now but the Cold Wave would threaten their ability to heat up if they freeze. He sat opposite to Cat at the fireplace, staring at the door once the fire stopped showing signs of weakening. But he had no idea how long it would be before he needs to feed the flames once more.
”Yeah, turns out guys who are good at fighting aren’t good at being soldiers. Who’s a thought?” Donny says as he and Cat finish off the rest of the food. Once there was nothing left, Donny did his best to clean his dishes before putting them away. He handed a few dry logs onto the fire and took off his boots. He meticulously cleaned his socks with a rock, squeezing out any sweat and gunk as he checked his leg. As he thought: he still had a bruise where that pseudogiant nearly tore his leg off. Donny could only sigh as he did his best to patch it up, using some spare cloth as a bandage as she settled in.

Donny sat in the opposite side of the fire, taking his pistol out and leaving it within arms reach. He hugged his legs to his chest and looked to you. ”Sound good to me. Wake me up if you’re going to leave. If you need to take a shit or something, I moved those lockers so you won’t have to.., You know... You’ll have some privacy. Anyways I’m going to get some shut eye...” Donny curls up on the floor and goes to sleep, his Gun near his hand in case he needs to fight at a moment’s notice.

The watch goes uneventfully for a while. However soon Cat could sense a change in air pressure. A sound of rattling in a distance. Something she was very familiar with: a Cold Wave. They should be safe in this room, relatively speaking, but who knows what sort of damage this Cold Wave could do down the line.

"As you command, Creator Faetalis. We will proceed with operations immediately!" Tungsten saluted Faetalis after she had given the Overseer their orders. Whatever concerns and regrets Tungsten had were immediately washed away: Now he had orders and planed to follow them without hesitation. Indeed, there could be no hesitation as their goal was simple: repair the guild. Whatever was broken needed to be fixed, and if it didn't need to be fixed it needed to be recycled. There was no time to mourn what was lost and instead they must focus on what can be saved. Tungsten in particular needed to be quick about repairing the Big Scrap Alley: even if it won't be at 100% efficiency anymore, with so much destruction and recyclable materials that are about to come his way he must return to operation. "Do not let perfect be the enemy of good, as they say."

Tungsten and his soldiers would return to the Big Scrap Alley quickly, and once he did reach his area Tungsten was quick to divvy out orders. All Cyber Skeletons were to immediately begin repairs to one of the generators. Just one will be able to ensure the Big Scrap Alley can resume operations at 80% efficiency for a week, more than long enough to get the other generators going and enabling the Big Scrap Alley to maintain steady operations for up to even a year if they lower energy costs. Additionally, he commanded the skeletons to take and destroyed or damaged nonessential Bigs to be scrapped: they simply do not have the resources to maintain and repair all the Bigs in the Titan Fleet right now and they must prioritize quality over quantity. What few essential Bigs they have which aren't scrapped may be kept, but even those could very well be fed to the Infernal Engine if necessary. Additionally the entirety of the Boneyard will be cannibalized to repair the damages to the Big Scrap Alley. Even if this means that his facility cannot produce any more Cyber Skeletons for now, that was a small sacrifice to pay for the good of the guild.

Of course, Tungsten doesn't plan to sit around and do nothing. Even though most of the operation will be carried out by Cyber Skeletons, they will work harder and faster as long as Tungsten leads them. And lead them he shall. Firstly, he had all damaged Cyber Skeletons work alongside him as he moved rubble from the ruins and transported them to various carts and trolleys to be moved. He was singing as he did so, to activate his Song of Rest as well as his Aura of Vitality to heal his minions so they too can work at full efficiency. It was here that the Cyber Skeletons truly shined: because each were helping each other, their Helping Hand ability allowed them to easily repair damages simply with tools and materials on hand. And because each Cyber Skeleton was being assisted by fellow skeletons, their Teamwork ability also activated, increasing their overall speed and ability to work. And as destruction and repairing the facility was nothing unusual for these Cyber Skeletons, Standardization would be active and ensure that the Cyber Skeletons and Tungsten will have one of the generators repaired and powering the Infernal Engine within the hour. An astonishingly fast feat considering the sheer damage the whole Big Scrap Alley has been inflicted with. At this rate all three generators will be repaired before the day's end, and Tungsten can ensure the facility is recycling and producing materials for the guild in short order.

However while the Cyber Skeletons worked, Tungsten knew there were a few tasks only he had the ability to handle. As the Cyber Skeletons really were only good in both mass, and focused on a single project. Repairing the Big Scrap Alley was important yes, but there were other facilities that needed help as well. And thus, once Tungsten was certain that the Cyber Skeletons would be able to repair the Auxiliary generator without his oversight, he took a handful of Cyber Skeletons around to other parts of the guild to repair other damaged infrastructure, such as communication towers, power stations, and automated entrances. These locations were easy for a few skeletons to fix, but they needed the speed that Tungsten can grant them via his Aura of Alacrity and fast movement. Physical infrastructure such as walls and floors would be left in the hands of Cormac. While Tungsten's minions are certainly capable of basic repairs like that, Faetalis had ordered Tungsten to focus on more delicate electronics first, and that is what he will do. With any luck within a day, once the Infernal Engine comes to life and can begin sharing power with the guild, much if not all of the guild's technological devices ought to return to working order, if only for a while.
