Bio

Current GM of World of Light. When it comes to writing, there's nothing I love more than imagination, engagement, and commitment. I'm always open to talk, suggestion, criticism, and collaboration. While I try to be as obliging, helpful, and courteous as possible, I have very little sympathy for ghosts, and anyone who'd like to string me along. Straightforwardness is all I ask for.

Looking for more personal details? I'm just some dude from the American south; software development is my job but games, writing, and trying to help others enjoy life are my passions. Been RPing for over a decade, starting waaaay back with humble beginnings on the Spore forum, so I know a thing or two, though I won't pretend to be an expert. If you're down for some fun, let's make something spectacular together.

Could always make it so it snuck up on us because we were focusing on the spiderwebs. or make it a king Taijutu

I'd be down for that except I think that qualifies as one of the bosses GM wants to instigate on its own. This could be answered if you assigned the vanilla Grim a class as you've done the others--Klein, Midas, Riesnes, I think? Reminds my of Safe, Euclid, Keter from SCP.

If Irish classifies Taijutu as boss, I'll start editing for the Ursa Major.
Ursa Major it is then.

was just stating a random baddie, feel free to pick something a little easier

Anything easier and we wouldn't have any cause to run. Wendigo filled the role of 'something not huge or brutish, but deadly and scary'. The next best thing is Beowolves, which have proven to be one-hit-kills for pretty much everyone.

Although now that I mention it, there seems to have been a massive influx of Grimm in the bestiary, which (aside from arousing me immensely given my proclivity for communication and organization) means there's some other choices. Tell, my arboreal leprechaun, do Akreds live in Forever Fall?

I'm fine with you editing it, Its just that I kinda expected something like this to happen. So if anybody wants Grimm to fight that haven't shown up in the area yet, ask, and I'll tell you if they could be there.

...very well. That will be quite a bit of editing, since Ursa Major aren't stealthy or anything, but it's fine.

Also, I really wish people would have asked what kind of Grimm were in the basin.Cause now I'm wondering what the fuck a Wendigo is doing out in the middle of the forest.

I guess I just didn't know that they only lived in cold climates. Gosh darn.

Janus, my third, almost second, favorite god.And I just realized that you may have gotten inspiration from one of Agni's skin for Conquest's appearance. How/where did you get the avi?

I probably got it off of google icon search. And no Conquest is not remotely inspired by Agni. Try this on for size.

I can help out with those already done.

Abel and Bridget
Gideon and Beliya -
Tai and Robert
Gren and Kuhaku
Jack and Savan
Auriel and Emyln
Ineko and Bruce -

That leaves Serera, Trico, Priscilla, and Laura left. If we want to make NPCs out of departed players, we can always puppet Chris and Oliver, since they're the most recent to leave. That would give us five player full player teams.

I burst out laughing seeing that. My username does literally mean 'slow' though. Couldn't help but use the joke, even though saying 'he move not as fast' would have been a lot easier.

Okay, I have to say this now because I keep thinking about Smite whenever I see that avatar... *clears throat* HELLO CLASSIC/RETRO AGNI!

Hello, Kangutso. It's pretty funny though since I haven't played Agni in absolutely ages and I'm using Janus a lot more now.
Cold fear washed over Abel as he realized how close to death he had just come. After taking Bridget's hand and pulling himself to his feet he took off, terror still pumping through his veins like blood. Any incoming Broodlings were left in the dust. The furious bellow of the elite Ursa awoke some sort of primal fear in him, as it did with most people: the sense of being hunted. In light of this gripping sensation, his retreat was very fast indeed, despite his size. He almost went into a panic upon observing the sticky red fluid coating his partner's jacket for the first time, but quickly found out it was sap. The two kept running, the Usa Major growing closer. As soon as Abel managed to regain some composure, an idea popped into his head.

As he and Bridget approached a tree and split to run on either side of it, he swapped the Ampere to staff mode and let loose a bolt of lightening at the chocolate-colored trunk. The huge release of electricity superheated the wood and shattered it. Splinters sprayed across the crimson grass—he hadn't thought of that. He felt a sharp pain in his thigh, but the adrenaline allowed him to ignore it. Nevertheless, the tree collapsed into a smoldering heap just after he and Bridget had passed it. He looked over his shoulder for a moment, he face devoid, to see if it worked.

Without breaking its stride, the black shape pursuing them raised a burly arm into the air. It brought its limb down with a snarling grunt, crushing the tinder like it was paper. Embers and sawdust scattered as the Ursa Major barreled on through. For the first time, Abel got a good look at its face. The creature was terrifying, all bony armor and spikes from the front, with one dark eye. Clearly this was a monster that had seen the rough side of life and prevailed. At a loss of how to handle the creature, there was only one thing the boy could do.

Abel kept running, dodging among the trees with Bridget. Every now and then a cracking noise would sound from behind them, signaling that their relentless hunter had rent another tree in its way. Wasn't that ironic—a Grimm hunting the hunters. “Any...ideas?” Abel panted as he sprinted.
Though Conquest remained jealous of Shadowmane's incredible speed for a few moments, he had only to picture his previous awe-inspiring form rocketing across the sky like a blazing comet to quell his feelings of envy. Despite his comparative lugubriousness, Conquest arrived at his “master's” side before the sun had perceptibly moved and took in the nearby town. After listening to Calvartem's briefing, Conquest's jagged mouth twisted into a grin. His flames burned brighter as he declared, “I will light the way.”

In short order, the necromancer's minions had gathered the necessary intelligence and the assault was ready to begin. The two beings, one wreathed in darkness and the other in fire, hurtled into the town faster than the rain of projectiles could fall from the battlements. Though the crude bullets only chipped him and bolts simply melted upon hitting him and the fire only added to his energy thanks to his ability to absorb heat from his surroundings, Conquest paused a moment to levitate into an upright position and hurl a ball of condensed magma toward the bastions. As he passed through the gate in Shadowmane's wake, the burning bomb detonated, scattering lava over the walls. He didn't stop to relish the screams of those unfortunate enough to be hit by the liquid fire, and instead raced through the streets after Calvartem.

The graveyard was just as indefensible a position as Conquest had guessed. He knew that the only way to keep the humans off Calvartem's back long enough for him to raise an army was to create his own defense. Rising into the air above the grim cemetery, he cast jets of fire from his hands, setting ablaze all nearby buildings. Within a small amount of time the burning wood would make all ways into the area very unpleasant; all but one, the main street. It was there that Conquest descended, crossing his arms as the first responders (those soldiers nearest to the current area) arrived. A blast of fire caused the ill-prepared men to scatter, but Conquest didn't move to pursue him. By remaining in the open and not moving, he would be able to draw the most attention to himself.

Another bolt of fire narrowly missed a capped head peering around the corner of an alley. Conquest sent his next skyward to explode like a flare. “Come on!”
