The Shackled Relic, Giver of Life, Granter of Wishes. Everyone knows of it's legend, so much so that most write it off as rumor, fairytales to give the wretched hope, to inspire the soldier, or to ease the burden of fear - that maybe one day someone will find it and they too, could ask a wish from it's infinite well of magical energy. It's said that a dragon's soul was trapped within three rings, shackled to be imprisoned forever, but if you find it and free it - you will be granted one true wish with no limits, for the soul of a dragon can unleashed even the power of the gods.

... but that's not quite true. While this role-play will revolve around the relic's power, it must be explained before you dive too deeply into the idea of it's myth. It does not grant wishes as the legends say, but instead, it shackles those that seek it - to one another. This role-play is heavily inspired from the show Sense8. It will begin with all of our characters having found the artifact at basically the same time - for their own reasons - and as it activates, each character finds themselves mentally linked to one another.

The characters can react as they wish, but this link allows each character to (sometimes without willing it) 'visit' each other mentally as if they were physically present. Of course only the heroes connected can see each other, but say Elle visits James, but Mary also visits James mentally - they can all see and interact with one another as well as continue doing what they were doing... thinking of it as expanding their minds in a way. In either case, to a lesser degree they can also sense each others emotions (but not thoughts exactly). Those familiar with Sense8, there is one difference, is they can't share skills directly but are allowed to teach each other, if they are teachable skills.

As far as character creation goes, I am basing this group around a group of renown heroes of various lands. So feel free to make new lands up to fit your legendary figure, but it's generally fantasy, though am willing to include steampunk (or magipunk) elements (I will be!). Since this is only an interest check, I won't be making much more than this for the moment. If I get enough, I'll make an OOC!
Still here, obviously, even if slow. =3

"The others?" she responded, humming softly to herself before offering a slight shrug. "I did not talk to them much, though they are the curious sort. It's hard to guess what anyone's motivations are, when joining a mercenary company - could be for noble reasons such as us to vengeance or greed... only time will tell, I take it." Sonya seemed to consider the answer carefully under her mask before Odessa finally heard a yawn, prompting the martial artist to giggle softly. ".. it seems I must bid you farewell however m'lady.." she said, playing slightly to the knight role. "Get some rest." With a warm, affectionate smile, she waved to Sonya as she walked away.
The Next Morning...

Odessa fell in line with most of the others, having not arrived early like what she considered normal - nay, she had slept well, perhaps a tad bit too well, but the thoughts of her new companion had kept her warm through the night. It was natural, almost, to find the masked woman to whom she stood side by side easily. Giving a soft, if shy smile, her attention went quickly to Silas and Dixon as they spoke.

It wasn't long before Silas had presented his challenge, revealing the mark of a slave on his face. Odessa was slightly surprised, but for the most part - despite being a noble - seemed rather unphased. In truth, she cared little whether he was a king or a slave, that only he allowed her own self to do good in this world. And.. he himself propelled such ideals. She hadn't gotten the chance to ask before, so after Sonya had asked her own question, Odessa raised her hand quickly to interject her own query. "Also, pardon my curiosity, but what is the intent of this group? Besides taking on contracts, that is.. or is there any?"
Yep, life got in the way, but I shall start working on a reply soon!
I plan on replying! When I get time... I have a couple dates to keep too and also another Youtube video to record... so I'll see about squeezing in some time today - if not, tomorrow! <3
Hm.... well.. anyways, I'll be busy today but I'll try and post something - even if it's small - if I can. That way something is up before Wed or Thur. I can probably tell you right now SimpleD might not be able to post by then, but I'll poke them. =3
@Arthanus - Probably won't have time until Monday at the earliest. Sadly, I'm really busy this weekend. =3
Sorry I took so long!! Hope the post is acceptable. ^^
All she could do is simply stand there and nodded silently. She didn't even give so much as a frown or frustrated sigh, her neutral expression never betraying her internal thoughts. Instead, she fastened her light saber to her belt quietly and made her way into the ship, glancing back as she heard Koda ask for a moment. Within the ship, she quickly found her seat and buckled in, grabbing onto the restraints as she waited for the take-off, as that's where it was all leading up to anyways. However, for the first time, she gave off a slight frown as she mauled over what had just happened. Certainly the Sith were a clever bunch, more so than anyone truly expected, but she wondered how long this was all in the works.

'All that effort..' she thought to herself, reflecting on all the events that lead up to nearly escaping with the queen. Now the queen and those soldiers would likely find fates less than pleasant for their situation. She felt much like her master did, wishing to go back and do something for those poor souls, though perhaps in a less violent manner. Often she saw glimpses of the man's anger, though he did an amazing job of keeping it in check, something the Jedi would account for one's fall to the dark side. Even though to this day she had never had a true sit down of her thoughts relating to all the meditations she had been through, her ideals were certainly not in line with the Jedi as many would think. Still, she really only wanted to help, but it was too late for that - at least for now.
Sorry, probably reply tomorrow but promise to reply tomorrow - have nothing going on then. =D
