Harry Potter: Defense Against the Umbra (Nallore&Arista)

Larentia Naelistrum

Smiling softly as the familiar owl hoots and flaps it's wings, Larentia stretches her legs put and watches with attention as their head of house sighs softly and gestures with a lazy flick of her head the Common Room in general.

"This is where you will do homework, rest and live for the next six years. Any rule breaking will cost you house points, any achievements will earn you points. While here you are a family so I expect respect and guidance from the older years to the younger ones and vice versa. I am your Head of House, my name is Alicia Lorraine, pleasure to meet you. Girls dorm are up the staircase and to the left, boys on the right. Play nice my little snakes and enjoy your time here. Oh, before I forget, this is Sylla, she's the eyes and ears when I'm not here, whatever happens I'll know. Now, to bed, tomorrow's your first day." With that she stands and offers a smile before extending her hand and flicking her fingers, a small hole -the size for a person to pass through- appearing on the wall closest to the entryway. Larentia watches with awe as her aunt passes through and waits until Sylla follows before the hole vanishes as if never there.

"Well, I suppose we should go to sleep then. Come Oriana, we best not stay here long." Larenita whispered softly, extending a hand to her friend as the others begin to rise and make their way to the dorms, the older years having their own rooms instead of sharing like the younger years did.

Now that sleep was mentioned, Larentia felt the exhaustion from earlier wash through her body, a large yawn she couldn't hide in time cracking her jaw with its force. Shaking her head she offers a tired smile and waits.

Alicia Lorraine

Yawning for the fourth time within the five minutes it took to reach her rooms from the Common Room, Alicia shook her head and tapped her wand against the door, allowing Sylla to enter first before closing and locking it. Running pale fingers through orange hair, Alicia huffed and glanced at the paperwork that still sat on her desk. Thankfully it wasn't much, petting Sylla's head before focusing her gaze on the stack, her emerald eyes glancing at the clock hanging above her door before she began to move towards her desk, her wand hand absently flicking to light the fireplace.

Picking up her favorite black-fearher quill, Alicia gracefully sat in her chair and began to work, the only sounds filling her rooms where that of the clock and her pen moving across the parchment. @Nallore

Enna stilled and felt her body relax slightly, Jason and James uncurling and moving towards the table, their heads resting on it as they watch, James hisses softly and directs a thought to Adrian, his eyes closing as his stomach gives a soft rumble.

Light isn't supposed to harm, it's a power meant to heal and soothe. The fact that she purposely used her power to bind and injure her in my opinion was for a reason. Left on their own the wounds would continue to bleed, causing Enna's weakened body to attempt to heal wounds it's incapable of healing. Her body's trying, but can't even start since she hasn't fully healed from the other attack. The wounds will open once more before finally allowing Enna to heal, her small form will melt away and she'll be a normal sized wolf once more. She did it in the case that we'd run, she would be so weak to move they would of caught her and...punished her for losing control. She'll need food after this, we all do. We can't stay here long, earlier I caught their scent a few yards back. Their still tracking us. James stated softly, sighing through his nose and rising to his feet, he sat once more when he reached the window and peered outside.

The storm is helping us for the moment but we do need to move. What do you suggest? Jason asks, his ears twitching as he hears Enna's soft sigh, his eyes shift to Adrian and lock, his tail flicking from side to side as ideas fill his mind. @SomeoneSomewere

Enna weakly thrashed, her legs moving in an attempt to run from something, her eyes rolling under her twitching eyelids as she struggles to pull away from the nightmare she'd slipped into. She whined and kept it going, her fur bristling as the feel of long fingers ran though her fur, her snarl weak in her own ears. The wolfsbane bars had her wincing and attempting to pull away, only to whimper when the finger tighten and pull, Enna whines once more and weakly tries to stand on her feet.

It hurts...why are you doing this...I'll be good... She whispers softly as she tries once more to stand on her wobbly feet. Pain raised up her spine and had flames lixking at her sides as she tries to force her healing away as it tires once more and fails to stop the bleeding, her eyes open and she stares blankly ahead. Her breathing ragged as tries to block out the pain, her eyes rolling slightly as she tires to stay in the present.

Jason and James whine softly and slowly make their way towards her, the ears flat against their skulls as their noses scent the air and catch the smell of her pain and blood. They lay down against on one side of the table and curl up into tight balls. The lightening that cracked the sky filled the silence around the room. @SomeoneSomewere

Jason and James purred softly in thanks before lunging into the pouring rain, their coats helping them blend in with the small patch of tress that were near the back door. Enna paused before following, her ears twitching from side to side as her nose scents the air, her little tail slowly lowering when she caught no familiar scent. Gently brushing her side against Adrian's she licks the closest part -his chin- before dropping back to her four paws and taking off, the twins purrs easily guiding her to where they were.

The storm continued to rage, all three returned a few moments later dripping wet and slightly annoyed. The twins shook off and paused before entering, shaking their paws of the water and mud on them before racing back inside, Enna remains near the back door but hesitates to enter, slight pain racing though her body as the wounds once again open, her eyes widening as a phrase from one of the books she'd read filters through her mind.

Light is an ability to sooth and heal, however if it is used to harm, the wounds will open two to three more times before ceasing and finally allowing the person to heal

Enna whines softly as she sways on her paws, her head spinning as the smell of copper fills with the smell of rain and trees. Her legs give and she finds herself on her side, pain racing up and down her spine as her healing tries and fails to help the wounds. Her eyes close as another lower whimper escapes her lips. @SomeoneSomewere
