Hello, I'm Mariel.
I'm an Advanced level writer looking for group role-playing games to join.
I cut my teeth on role-playing by playing Dungeons & Dragons in the desert of the real, posting embarrassingly bad short stories online across a number of forgettable forums, and during my escape from a troupe of Vampire: The Masquerade LARPers who kidnapped me that I met in Nevada. I'm a native English speaker located in the Pacific Time Zone (currently UTC-7). I'm an active player, who doesn't require hand-holding and isn't afraid to communicate.
I value my own time and I'll value yours.
Provided the quality is there, I am willing to play almost any genre or character. What can I say? I'm a slut for good writing.
In short, I want it all. Give me perfect prose. Give me brilliant imagery. Give me complex settings full of uncertainties and moral dilemmas. Give me believable characters with flaws that count. Give me struggle and strife. Give me difficult choices. And give me painful consequences. I promise you, I'll earn it.
If you care about your writing as much as your role-playing, then you are probably my favorite sort of GM or player. Don't make me go back to Discord role-playing, I beg you.
