Current "Doing your best" does not mean working yourself to the point of a mental breakdown. Its no longer your best at that point.

The word homeowner has the word "meow" in it. Good luck pronouncing it correctly ever again. You're welcome ^.^

When everything seems wrong...something goes right, and it changes darkness into light, and makes the shadows a little less daunting.

People cry, not because they are weak. It's because they've been strong for too long

the bad thing about being bullied is that every time it happens it steals a little piece of who you are if it happens enough little by little you become a little less of who you were meant to be.

The yell flooded over Cody, and he looked in the direction of the twins. He could see that they were powerful, and Cody knew he couldn't take them both on, even if he wanted to. He bowed his head, and slowly, carefully, approached them, lowering his defenses as he went. If he approached them full of his light, that could easily be akin to....declaring he was there to fight. He looked up, his clouded eyes watching them, his sight taking in everything about them, aside from their physical appearance. He slowly lowered himself to the ground, and he hurriedly moved through thoughts.

Something had angered the twins.

Caits and Gerswhin had been nearby. They could be in danger, and he would do anything to ensure their safety. Even if it meant dying for them. And he would try and save the twins, to his dying breath as well.

"Please"

He didn't know if they could understand him. Which is why he went with body language as well, Non-threatening. And almost begging.

"Stop"

While his voice was soft, it nevertheless carried, full of his emotions, of the fear he had for his friends, for the unknown people out there getting hurt, for the twins themselves. Worry that none of this was going to end well. And compassion. An ever forgiving being, it took Cody a lot to not forgive someone, and the twins were hurting. He could tell that much. They were lost lonely, and only had each other. They thought the world was against them.

And so Cody extended his hand, hoping they take the offer to maybe not be alone anymore.

Caits got herself up, clutching her side, grimacing, taking in the scene about her. Her gaze lingered on Gerswhin, and her fight and she shuddered, before lurching into action. There were still people that needed to be taken to...well, whatever safety there was, and with the stone beings occupied by the monstrous form of Gerswhin, Caits could do that. She could get what people she could out, and she hurriedly set about doing that, urging those she could on, ignoring her own pains, the plane was no option it seemed now, although she did take a moment to stop, and try and contact Viccar.

“We’re going to need transport out of here! And I swear, if you don’t get us transport...it won’t be the twins you’ll have to worry about”

Which, Caits figured, was true, as her gaze fell on Gerswhin again, seeming to become...strong, each time she was injured. She was an unstoppable machine. Caits swallowed. She had no reason to believe that Gerswhin would hurt her, on the contrary, the girl had done everything she could to protect Caits. It didn’t mean that it wasn’t a frightening sight.
Luna had no idea what reaction she had had over Constance, yet perhaps it was time that the woman experience some of her own medicine. The woman had risen despite her bleak beginnings, and then turned her back on her roots. It was time someone treated Constance like nothing, like the woman had been doing to so many others. Constance did not seem to believe that she could have just as easily ended up as those in her former home, if she hadn’t taken a chance to get out. there but for the grace of god go I was a saying Luna kept close to heart. She had had a lucky break. She knew what it meant and cherished it, even as she made sure to make those that were less fortunate than her had a little bit more. So Luna turned her attention fully to everything around her, still truly amazed by the view.

As Collin directed his attention to Constance for a moment however, Luna glanced over, paused. She was sure there was something just a little off about Constance’s smile, and Luna figured the woman wasn’t none too pleased about having to meet family. That was quite interesting, and Luna was sure that this would fascinating indeed.

She didn’t linger too long on this, her attention diverted to the girl that held her bag, approaching her, more or less in the right way, pausing a moment, she suddenly understood something she hadn’t quite seen before. The girl was blind. Which might account for the way she seemed so timid, yet Luna was sure with just a little coaxing, there would be a bright, bubbling personality there. There often was, with those that were shy. Luna smiled, despite the fact that the girl couldn’t see it, Luna knew such things could be transported into tone, and she said quite genuinely, accepting the bag, her tone warm and inviting, ”Thank you, I would have been a little lost without it! I’m Luna, by the way”

As they continued on their journey through the community, Luna was distracted once again by the views around them. The development was a little more advanced then Luna had expected, and she was sure that if they hadn’t made their way here, the people here would have eventually launched their own expedition, and perhaps would, still, with a little bit more knowledge of what was out there then they themselves had. That made Luna smile. She’d done what she’d wanted to do, by coming out there. She’d found people. They’d found people. And where there was some….there had to be more out there. The world was bigger than it seemed, and Luna looked about with wonder, at what could fill it.

As they were led to what soon turned out to be Holloway's, Luna didn't mistake the look Edward was given, nor the fact that she was overlooked. Which didn't mind Luna, it simply gave her a chance to knock another self centered "powerful" woman on her ass. “Ah, yes, how nice to have met you, oh,, I’m sorry, was it rude to just speak up like that? Ah well, I assumed you didn’t see me” She said to the retreating form of the old woman, Luna shook her head, turning her back on Constance, and the older woman, ”lackings? ah, the black sheep of the family, then? I'm sure we'd get along just fine” She said, a little amused, before sighing, and looking to Edward, ”It seems so. Although perhaps it will give Constance the chance to see what she is like, and change her ways. Although I suppose that's like asking the sun not to rise”

She looked over to Juliette, glad the girl hadn’t gotten lost along the way, and smiled again, deciding she may as well get acquainted with someone here, and Juliette seemed to need someone. ”So...Juliette, right? What do you do?”

Niesha nodded at Jack, ,but did wondered what Tatiana could be doing, right then of al times, yet she doubted there would be too much to worry about, right then. Still...she'd thought they'd been safe before, and that hadn't been the case. She looked over when they started to talk about the chicken dance. Passing from foster home to foster home, state home and orphanages, Niesha had never gotten to really, experience the chicken dance. She glanced away, deciding not to say anything. She would probably make a fool of herself, even as the child in her heart wanted to join in. She glanced about them, then turned her attention to Victor, about to speak, but hesitated and instead watched him walk away, turning her attention back to Jack and Tatiana as she returned, she couldn't help but smile at Jack's reaction to Tatiana's returned presence.

There was no sadness at all, for which Niesha was...well, not happy about, but it was perhaps a start to heal. Yet she knew that perhaps she'd never get over losing Sophia. It was still nice to know that she could feel happiness, for someone else's happiness. As Kristina asked what Tatiana had, Niesha glanced over the other woman, wondering herself for a moment what could be in a in gift box like that, before she said softly to Kristina "Perhaps we should let them be, a moment, Kris"

She was sure that the two might like a few moments of privacy, and her mind flicked topics a moment, glancing to Kristina, nudging her slightly, "Lets get some food, why don't we? You chugged that drink quite quickly, after all"
