@GrafRoy Zeppeli So, just one question before I start writing my character's backstory... Is it possible for someone to have a familiar before they enter the academy? I was thinking of having a familiar that had formed contracts with the previous generations of my character's family, and thus having said familiar bound to my character already. Would that be possible or is that crossing over into Mary-Sue territory?
Masako Mizushima

Finally arriving near the giant pile of bones, Masako came across the eleven or so heroes that had also gathered to defeat this ferocious foe. She'd seen five or six of them in action before, and about two or three she had actually fought alongside with in the past: There was this hero with the dragon wings and that one with the little critters in his scarf; there was the muscleman hero that put Masako's supposed skyscraper height to shame, the one with an even crisper suit than hers and that other one with eyes so bright and yellow she could just gouge them out if the headlights on her delivery van ever broke. However, despite having a rather fuzzy memory, Masako remembered the man with the lampost eyes was not to be trifled with. In fact, he was already down there slashing at the moving bones.

Wait… Moving bones? Did she seemed that right?

Atop the slightly wrecked building she stood on, Masako gazed down at the slithering army of humanoid snake bones below. Sure, they looked like they were ready to beat the living crap out of anything that crossed their path, but moving at a snail pacing didn't really help up their scare factor. Heck, the little dragon girl was already singeing the heads off the skeletons like a walk in the park.

So… What to do?

As if on queue, a man's voice echoed in Masako's head. His voice seemed to go faster than her ears could follow, and by the time he had finished resounding his telepathic message, the only word she had managed to pick up and fully understand was 'meeting'. Unfortunately, the woman's range of vocabulary wasn't exactly big. It was pretty ironic as well, seeing as she was fucking up enemies under the name of 'Principal'; you would think the not-so-little Masako was on the smarter side with a name like that.

Look, I'm not up for all this complicated wording and stuff, so… I dunno, at least ask in a language I–we can understand. If it's a team attack you were asking for though, I'll go beat up some snake skeleton things to clear the area a little if that's all right. Whatever team you've got, at least you'll be able to get through to that big ass castle a little quicker.

She had no clue whether she could respond to this man's message through her thoughts, but it was worth a try. Masako hopped down the ledges of the building and onto the ruptured road, pushing her glasses above the ridge of her nose. The skeletal beings crawled closer, edging towards the suited woman.

"The ground looks kinda fucked up already… Well, let's just hope I don't get fined for this."

Raising her leg in the air Masako swung it down, striking the ground with one mighty kick. The impact would send some of the snake-like creatures a few metres away, while some sort of crumbled into the ten metre wide crater she had created. Heeled shoes unscathed, Masako would proceed to wipe the rest of the incoming skeletons with her ferocious kicks. Each one would shatter into bony pieces as her kicks landed with success, with simple kicks to the chest obliterating their structure completely.

Then, out of nowhere, a fireball burnt the rest of the skeleton's in the woman's path, almost bringing Masako down with them. If she hadn't barrel rolled out of the way quick enough then her hair would start smelling like a burnt, black dumpling.

"See, I can avoid setting stuff on fire if it's not necessary!"

"Well, how 'bout not setting fire to someone who's on the same side as you if it ain't necessary? Those flames of yours are gonna end up frying me before we even reach the gate of that big ol' castle!"

Extending her tie into a long, dark red whip, Masako swung it to sweep the snake/human skeleton things to the side. As long as there was a clear path to this castle then the other heroes (Masako included) wouldn't have any trouble trying to fight through the massive army of magically constructed bones.

But it was what lay ahead of these rising bones that would make Masako's blood rush throughout her body like wildfire.

Masako Mizushima

"Damn it… At this rate, these flowers are gonna rot before they even get to their destination!"

Just like every other (early) morning in B-District, Masako Mizushima had her hands full. With customer requests beginning to pile on as the weeks flew by, the woman was in and out of her sister's flower shop like a five-year-old having a life threatening sugar rush. With the almost one month of peace putting the civilians in positive spirits, Gaia's Garden had become busier and more upbeat than ever before. At least now Masako had less trouble to deal with this past month, so juggling her job as a delivery woman and a superheroine was a little easier.

"This person just has to live all the way on E-District… If some group tries spraying shitty graffiti designs on this van then they're getting more than a kick to the stomach from me."

Large lines of traffic weren't all that rare in B-District, but this whole morning rush thing was getting out of hand. It had already been ten minutes and Masako still hadn't made it to the district's border. It wouldn't be long before the twenty-two-year-old woman would start screaming her lungs out at the drivers in front of her. Masako slammed her hand down on the steering wheel's horn, sticking her head out of the window. At least she didn't activate the airbags this time.

"Hey! I haven't got all day so just hurry up and move the shitty clump of metal you're driving in! These flowers aren't gonna deliver themselves y'know."

After what seemed like ten hours on the busy toad, Masako had reached E-District with her van still intact. No crazy graffiti sprayers or rock pelting teens to be seen as of yet.

As of yet.

Of course, Masako kept an eye out for anything lurking behind the trash cans or lingering in the shadows as she drove through the litter filled streets. Whether it was just a pesky little rat or some troublesome villain plotting out loud in a stinking alleyway, Masako had to be careful. Despite her rather 'fiery' past, E-District was no place for a girl who had spent a majority of her life living in one of the quietest districts in Megatropolis.

As soon as she took one step out of the delivery van, a shake knocked Masako off her feet. A random earthquake at this time of day? And a big ass snake rising from the ground to go with it? What a great start to the morning. First Masako had gone to work without even a sip of coffee and now there was a pile of bones rising from the supposed pits of hell.

"Attention all civilians. Please go to the nearest shelter. Attention all heroes. Please head to the border of D, B, and E-Districts and head towards the, uh, giant mound of bones. The threat level is: Big-Big City Threat. Man, we really need to actually name them."

"Big-Big City Threat. Huh."

Well, looks like that was her call. Screw the flowers and the van, saving the city came first. Unzipping her jacket, the violet eyed woman revealed her signature dark red tie wrapped around her white collar. As she loosened it, the drastic changes to Masako's regular appearance had been done. Clad in a tailored black suit and blood red heels, superhero-sensei leapt from the ground at an impossible height, jumping from filthy rooftop to filthy rooftop.

"Looks like Principal Scarlett's got some ass kicking to attend to today."
Might just drop some interest in here.

(Also, since this is an OPM based RP, was the city built in Japan? I just went with a Japanese character because animu >~<)
his manliness will blind us all

Day 16: His manliness is so overpowering I haven't been able to step outside of this makeshift tent for two weeks now... We need a female character in the OOC before I run out of beans and ketchup!
I'm probably getting a CS up this afternoon :)

Also, I'm jay.Kalton on Skype if ya need it.
Isami Suzuki

Isami's current situation wasn't looking to bright. No matter how big her steps were, she couldn't shake that churning feeling in her stomach off. As the seconds ticked by, Takeo's chakra seemed to draw closer. It would have made sense if he had caught up to Isami by now, but she could sense him chasing his squad at an unusually moderate pace. Just what were these man's intentions?

Peeking over her shoulder, Isami spotted Kohaku in the distance. Breathing a sigh of relief, she continued to run towards the lake. The least she wanted was to see her teammate being slapped into the ground on her first day as a Genin. Reaching the edge of the lake, Isami came across the large tree that had toppled over the water.

Bingo.

Well, looks like there was no need to stretch her hair across to the other side. Isami slowed herself down just so she had more control and balance over herself. Getting soaked while the others ran ahead wasn't exactly her idea of 'fun' either. As long as she remained calm and composed, she was less likely to falter in the face of her enemy. This went back to her previous question though. What were her sensei's intentions? What was the purpose of letting that giant earth wall fall on them? And to be honest, why hadn't Takeo caught up to Isami already? She wasn't really the fastest of people, and knowing that her sensei was lurking behind made her stomach twist up even more.

Thankfully, Isami had made it to safety on the other side along with Kohaku following nehind. Soon enough, Takeo neared the lake's edge just a few moments later.

As expected… He's fast.

Whoosh.

Swivelling her head around, Isami's large eyes followed the direction of Keita's shuriken as they hurtled towards Takeo on the other side. What was her teammate planning on doing?

"Um, Keita-san, what… what are you doing?"

Looking up, Isami waited patiently for an answer. Maybe he was trying to hold him back perhaps? It did make a little bit of sense, though. Takeo had almost flattened Kohaku back there, so maybe he was just waiting for one of his Genin to attack. If that was the case (which, in Isami's eyes, seemed unlikely), then Isami was going to have to put on a show too.

If she was going to go down, she might as well do it in style.
