"Oh, they aren't fighting until I say so."

John turned to see what Mad Kitty was doing, to realize they were gone. This made John noticeably angry. Raising his patriotic level a bit, he hated being ignored by even the smallest of foes.

"Oh you gotta be kidding me..."

He turned to see Aggi with a menecing face. He was angry, perhaps pissed off, all of this lead to nothing and that was bad for him, now he had to punch something urgently.

"Okay, i'm finishing you quickly."

John raised his arm, which began to have a golden glow around it.

Patriotic Level: 5%... 7%... 15%... 20%

"Patriotic... DIVIDE!!!"

John brought his fist down, slamming against the rooftop of the building, massively cracking all of it and destroying it. Leaving Aggi to hang over debris.

That sounds like an interesting character. You can give him that adaptability, but you could do that his power begins to wear off as he doesn't stay in a fight, basically, he can adapt to being burned alive to the point of invulnerability. but after like, idk, 12 hours, he can be damaged again.

"Gosh... Talk about matters, you have none of it."

John dangled from the vine; he had been caught lacking, it seemed. But he wasn't really scared by the plant man in front of his very own eyes. He faced off some plant evil-doers before and managed to beat them fair and square.

"Y'know, it isn't widely known that literal metahumans are roaming around the United States... Blame it on your tax money and the CIA... although I doubt you pay taxes..."

John quickly broke the plant vines by just propelling himself with all of his body. He landed on the top of the building. He had the mood for a little action, so he might as well hold back against this one so that it could last long enough for his own liking.

"C'mon, Bush!!!"

It was her moment; she could finally catch him. She ran towards him and kneeled on his chest.

"Don't think you'll get out so fast, punk."

She gripped his arm against the ground and began to move her claw at his face slowly.

"First, I will cut your nose, then your lips, and then--

She had gone blank, incapable of continuing her description. Mostly due to a lack of energy and interest.

"Agh, screw it."

She let go of his arm and backed away from him. She turned to see him, looking at him through her uncaring mask, hiding her tired and self-disappointed expression.

"I'll kill you next time."

Kitty raises an eyebrow at such a display of stupidity. She seems to remember their last encounter now, despite having beaten the living crap out of him; he did surprise her... with his... quirkiness, to say. But now that she's being tackled by the villain, she seems to feel a heat rising from her chest up to her face... she's red from awkwardness!! How could she be so flustered by such a thing?! She only wonders as the two begin to fall from the building.

"Hiss..."

Kitty grabs Aaron tightly, gripping him with her sharp cat claws. If she's gonna die, she's gonna die doing what she does best, beating up criminals. Although, to be precise, "The Angel of Music" hasn't done anything out of the ordinary, at least he has brought some sort of joy to most people he encounters, he may be a bit dumb, of course, but she couldn't help but notice how the other vigilantes played his thing a bit more, perhaps she's a bit to drunk with vengance that it doesn't allow her to enjoy the crazy little things in the weird world she lives in.

Why hasn't she hit the floor? It's awkward if she only held this guy to make sure they both die to just--

"My god... You two need to see some sort of therapist, because this sure isn't healthy!!!"

John America held the two with his powerful arms, smiling sarcastically at them. He dropped the two onto the floor and attempted to pull Angel out, but it only made him more injured by Kitty's claw.

"Oops..."

"DAMM, she's really clingy."

Upon hearing this, Kitty dropped her grip from Aaron and quickly dashed towards a light pole. She knew this man; he was the number 1 hero of all America. Big Washington. She had to be careful, vigilantism is largely illegal in most states... except Nebraska for some reason. But anyway, Kitty knew that he would berate her about the dangers of this sort of acting.

"So... you're his girlfriend or something? Are you like some sort of weeb that dresses like a cat or..."

"SHUT UP..."

Kitty shouted out; she immediately regretted it. The man in front of him didn't seem to budge at this, tho. Only looking at her with some slight disgust, mostly for the invented weeb allegations.

"I'll take that as a no..."

"Sooo... could you be a good ol' vigilante and tell me if this little gentleman is a big bad villain known as Nyx?"

John America smiled at her more friendly than before, looking extremely calm despite having saved two people from falling to their possible death. In fact, he looked infuriatingly calm, like Get more serious, buddy!!

"Ugh... Purrfect... more of you..."

Mad Kitty scowled from behind her mask upon seeing another villain come from the shadows, before finally noticing how Aaron was throwing a nasty jab. She barely got time to blink as he connected his blow towards her mask. But thankfully, her mask worked well as protection, so she came less damaged than one would initially think.

Mad Kitty fell to the floor, briefly lifting her mask a bit and rubbing her blood out. She was a glass cannon in most forms, so she had to put her agility to good use if she wanted to win against this teleporting guy again.

"Hiss!!!"

In most ways, if a woman you just hit (that sounds bad...), okay. In most ways, if a woman were to hiss at you, you would find it quite bizarre if not absurd... but this was no regular woman. It was Mad Kitty.

She quickly dashed behind Aaron and grabbed his cape before slashing it with her claws. She had managed to tear the high end of the cape and made a small cat-like cut on his back. She turned to see the other villain, angrily hissing at him too. But Aggi didn't seem to face her, almost as if he was stoned.

"Run... if you don't want to feel the rage this feeble villain is about to experience."

She attempted to slash Aaron once more, raising her claws, preparing to unleash a terrible air slash.

Aaron appeared over the top of a building. Almost falling to the floor below. He managed to keep his distance and not stumble and fall down the tall building. Weirdly, Aaron felt thrills running down his spine. He felt this feeling familiar. Almost as if he were stuck in a cell alongside a tiger.

He turned his head to see a figure standing over the radio tower of the building's rooftop, looking at him behind her masked face, holding a box of milk in her hands. And with claws coming out of her hands.

"You again?"

She jumped to the rooftop below, a feline swift, and she looked him from head to toe. It was weird; he seemed magically healed from their last encounter.

"How did you... Heal?"

Mad Kitty had many questions about him, but she knew that she simply couldn't afford herself be tricked by anyone. She backed down, leaving the milk box on the ground and taking a defensive position.

But nothing happened...

Nyx "The Shadow"

"Great... I crave the human delicacy."

Nyx twists within himself, rubbing his shadow body in a lust for food. He wants to eat not only one but two, no, three. Yes, three hot dogs of exquisite flavor. Nyx smiles slightly at this, his mouth drooling shadowy drops. He's a glutton after all, and he only craves food.

But Nyx also sneers upon hearing her question. He knows the thrill of people who see his shadowy body, and the fear he can infuse in those who have a weak mind. He loves it, even as much as he likes eating food, but he has to be safe; he cannot take anything by force, even with the company of Lady Nyx

"Fine... I'll suit myself in my finest skin."

Nyx's shadowy body began to come together into a human-like body, Shadows becoming skin, hair, and eyes.

Soon enough, he looked human... enough.

"At last... let's get those eatables..."
