what's the standard server?

I played a few weeks ago. Spotted a cell named Arya Stark so I renamed to The Hound and protected her until she was #5 in the server. Eventually she got into a tight situation so I screamed KILL MEEEE!!! and fed myself to her. Then remade as Meryn Trant, got super big again and found her again and fed myself over. Renamed to Nymeria, found her again, but she threw rocks at me to make me run away. Renamed to Winterhell. We ran that whole server for the rest of the night.

Spicy Sausage Spinach Spaghetti Surprise

It's hot sausage pasta casserole with spinach and secret seasonings. The best thing I can cook.
Out of curiosity, will entrants be able to opt-out of having their entries archived—or alternatively, opt-in? I ask largely because I know some of the writers in the first contest felt disappointed in their work, wanting to improve, and so they might want to wait until they've written something they feel proud of before it gets permanently displayed.

Definitely. I think when we get one, possibly two more contests done, I'll put some feelers out about what people actually want from an archive, and try to suit everyone's desires (for instance, would we rather have all contest entries preserved in one post, or each story/poem as its own permalink? That sort of thing). All concerns will be addressed to the best of my ability.
Exactly that, yes.
I will start feedback soon.
However it has come to my attention that no one can quite tell what my piece is about. I am happy with this out come. I will admit I know where I was going, and how everything connects. But I like to see it being interpeted in different ways.
Also, the length is due to the fact that I stumbled across this contest at 11 pm, the day before it was due And decided to write something quickly to submit.

Anything you care to add about your entry is more than welcome -- part of the point of getting rid of the 'anonymous entry' mandate was so authors could discuss what they wrote with people reading.

Also (this applies to anyone, not just last-minute entries) -- I haven't set up the archive just yet, on account of, you know, we've only had the one contest finished so far. But when I do get it up, if you'd prefer to replace your submitted entry with an edited version (perhaps fleshed out after the deadline is past, or perhaps taking some critiques to heart and updating accordingly), we're planning on supporting that.
@mdk I'll wear one with you.

something tells me you won't, because these shitposters have no game.

Okay. So what's your point? Going through life without an arm or a leg doesn't make you less of a person, it just adds more of a challenge.

It makes me about 30 pounds less of a person actually.

My opine -- it's stupid beyond reckoning that we're using governments to define what a marriage is. But, as long as we're rendering unto caesar, let's do it fairly, yeah? Do whatever to whoever you like. On the plus side Ireland is apparently approaching it via the popular vote, as opposed to the USA utilizing mostly courts -- that means that in Ireland it's the people exercising their right to call it how they see it, while in the US they're simply determining that our history is illegal.
Posted something quick, hopefully leaving room for problems in the back or sides if anyone wants to start something, and a clear enough direction/distance of travel that we're all on the same page?
