Either way, such is the extent of his resolve? Just because he can get one thing done, it doesn't mean the war is over. Not for him and certainly not for everyone else.
Who's going to protect his race in case another danger looms over them? Who's he going to feast with after coming back from the battlefield broken and bleeding, but with his pride vindicated? Is he really going to let the Demons walk freely after what their leader in retirement did?

Y'know that if you get to the end of the challenges you can ask Hohenheim to get those things for you, right? Literally all you have to do is survive and reach the end of the race.

@Banana Next battle is basically confirmed to be aerial warfare. Unless those hooks can go between floating islands, she'll be kinda useless.
