Avery smirked and spit into her own hand and grabbed his, shaking it. "Its a deal. And you won't miss a payday, everyone gets his share...and if you do well, it adds to your amount. Hard work is rewarded on the Shadow Strike" She jumped down and looked around, thinking.

"I guess as a doctor you will need an office to see your patients. This was the medical cabin when my father planned the ship out. There's a room in the back that should work for sleeping...it even has a window as well. I can have Ms. Scarlet and Lady Iris help you get this cabin into shape to see the crew when they are of need of ya"

Scarlet was humming as she worked, making some kind of a stew for dinner. She walked over to the box she had rescued from the other ship and opened it, almost bursting with joy. "Look at all of this...things I haven't seen before...these will make wonderful dishes...and will be good for the crew..." She clapped her hands and stood up, starting to unpack the box when she happened to look over and saw her little guest was awake.

"Good afternoon, little lady! I'm glad too see you were able to rest after the day you've had. Did you sleep well? Are you hungry? I have some snacks hidden away we can treat on while I make dinner for the crew." She smiled brightly at the girl, her red hair falling from its bun and Scarlet sighed. "Not again...bloody stuff won't behave"

Bane looked at him, a fork almost to his mouth. "I don't believe it...you're falling for her, aren't you?"

MEgumi laid down on the bed in the spare room, unable to use the room she used to share with her father. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath, trying to relax

Bane nodded, his mouth full of food. "But what if Megumi doesn't want to go? What do we do then? Or if she wants to go alone? I mean, no offense but we haven't been much help to her here"

Bane looked at him and said "The land of Snow? Like where its cold? I did not pack for that...if we do go we will have to get a lot of planning worked out. I don't want to risk taking Megumi on a public ship..."

Megumi got up and helped Bane up, leading them inside and set Bane at the table. "You guys go ahead and eat, I'm not very hungry..." She turned and headed down the hallway, wanting to lay down for a while. Bane looked at James, wondering what was going between the pair.

Avery smiled back at him and said "Well there's the smile I was looking for...well since your undecided, why don't we do this. My ship needs a doctor, which your the best I've seen in years, and you need somewhere to go. Why don't you stay on the ship for as long as you like. You are a free man here, the whole crew is a good group and no one is a slave in anyway here. And when we get to a port at any point and you feel the need to go out on your own, all I ask is that you help me find a doctor to take your place. Does that sound fair?" She was relaxed again now that the doctor wasn't as close.

She never minded men being close to her, but right after shifting she could see smell the blood and could hear his heartbeat. It made her sick but the part of her that didn't come out very much wanted to make that heart beat faster and to hear him pant. To hear him ask her to do many things to him and it made her want to vomit. But with him back a step or two it caused that voice to go quiet and she could think clearly again.

Mahad sighed, thinking then said "Alright, I will go with the Pharaoh and go retrieve Master seto and the hooded one. The rest of you should stay here and keep the room secured. My king? Shall we?"

The figure nodded and helped Seto walk, her warrior and hound fighting the two monsters back. Part way there the cat like monster jumped in front of them, hissing and its claws heading right for them. The figure pushed Seto behind and was hit, the hood falling back. The cat jumped on top of the hooded savior who with the hood down Seto saw it was a girl. She cursed and said "Stay back, Seto! Its not safe, get to the control room! I'll hold them off. Run, hurry!" She pulled the cloak off, showing that she was a young woman, a pendent hanging off of her neck that was glowing softly.

Avery looked at him then shook her head. "nothing that rest won't fix...Daniel, what are your plans now that you've escaped?" she moved back, not liking be so close to the doctor in this setting

Mahad nodded and said "I do as well...two with your friends downstairs and two with Master Seto...but the hooded figure is not a monster. Who could they be?" Yugi looked at Seto on the screen and siad "I wish we could do something..."

The figure saw two figures walk out of the darkness and said "Here we go..." The first was cat like creature known as Wheatsoo, the other a warrior ninja known as Ninja Grandmaster Hanzo. The figure cursed softly, pulling another card from their deck. "I can't support many more monsters...this one will have to count..." They held up the card and said "I call upon Guardian of the King" A female warrior appeared, with light brown hair and gold eyes. The hound moved to stand next to his master, the warrior looking back at the pair. "My lady, you must hurry, the shadows are getting darker. Then longer you stay unprotected the harder it will be to come back..." The figure nodded and pulled Seto's arm around her shoulders again. "Come Seto...we must hurry to your freinds..."
