Yugi smiled and said "I'm alright. We had a little problem last night but we will tell you all about it when we see you...Marik? Have you ever heard of some name Serena Shade? She is helping us out with our problem but we don't know a lot about her"

Ishizu looked up from her desk as Marik was on the phone. "Is there anything wrong brother?"

Tea nodded and said "I hope so..." She went back to eating with the others as Serena slipped outside. She pulled out her cell and answered the call.
"I'm alright Adam, you can stop calling me"
"Serena thank goodness. I've been trying to reach you all night!" Serena shook her head as the Professor said "Adam is a little worked up. Are you alright?"
"I'm alright, professor...just a few things came up I needed to handle...but I can't come back in yet. There are a few things I need answers to"
"I understand. I trust your judgement. I am going out of the country for a few days to look into a lead...I trust you will keep Adam updated?"
"Yes professor...I will. I just need a few days to figure things out...some strange things happened last night I need to look into"
"Just keep us in the loop, Serena...and be careful. Get some rest too. You know what happens when you over do it..."
"I will...take care..."

Serena hung up and leaned against the wall, closing her eyes. She was worn out, but she couldn't stop now. If what she saw the night before and when she blacked out had meaning, she had to look into it. And she had a feeling Yami was a big part of it all.

Avery nodded, rolling over and soon was fast asleep. Little did anyone know, the darkness of those Jade Pieces were about to make things much harder for the crew, and would make them question a lot of what they understood of life on the seas.

Scarlet smiled and kissed her head, then went back to working on dinner for the crew. When she paused to take off her long jacket, Amelia would see scars all over her arms and what she could see of her back. Cut marks and burns covered the cook's skin, looking old and stretched on her skin.

Yugi nodded and looked at the cell as Yami dialed the number. "Its a been a while since we have seen them. I wonder how they are doing??" (do you want Marik or Ishsu?)

Tea nodded and said "That's a good point...I hope she's alright though...she did save Yami last night from what Yugi said...the fact we weren't there to help them...it scares me that we could have lost both of them and couldn't have done anything..."

Serena felt her pocket buzz for the thousandth time since she left the shadow realm. She knew Adam and the professor would be worried about her but she couldn't come in yet. Not until she had answers. She looked at the staff again, trying to understand the writing on it but still nothing came to her.

Yugi listened closely then said "I thought all of your memories returned after the final battle? I wonder why these memories were kept away until now..." Yugi rubbed his head and said "we should talk to marik and his sister...they may know what's going on. And maybe about that staff Serena found in the shadow realm"

Tea nodded and said "from what Yugi told me last night, whatever happened in that cloud made her change her mood around us...she hasn't even called her partner to check in yet"

Serena was standing by the window holding a cup of tea while the others ate. She was lost in thought, tea watching her. She tapped Seto on the shoulder. "Is she alright?"
