Star Wars: The Forgotten Knights

Megara shook her head and made her slow way to her ship. Part way there she found a mechanic willing to cut the cuffs for her for a small fee which she paid with money she took off one of the guards. After a while she found herself in an older part of the village and she found a blown out shop and moved inside, stumbling as she pulled the cover off the small ship. It was a one man A-wing, the droid she had left beeping to life and opening the door for her. She smiled weakly, feeling the last of the strength she had left waning so she climbed inside and sat down, buckling herself in and said "Alright, R3-T7, lets get out of here..." The droid beeped and started the ship up, Megara fighting to keep her eyes open.

Once they were off planet and away safely, Megara was shaking badly and sweat ran down her face. She cursed, reaching for her radio. "Have to...reach the...others...before..." She hit the switch and turned it to the wave band her master was always listening to.

"Calling...Rouge...have escaped...Megara...in need of...medical...attention...ship on autopilot for...now...can't...keep..." She fell forward, finally blacking out as the droid beeped with worry and panic.

Megara glared at him, venom in her eyes. "I came here on a ship...I will go get it from where I left it...and I am going back to my team to let them know I'm alright before I hunt down the sith who put the price on my head in the first place..." She flinched and looked at the cuffs around her wrists and ankles. "You could be helpful and find something for me to cut these off with. Or keep insulting me to cover your own faults. Either is fine with me"

Yugi nodded and siad "I like it. I think I know the place your talking about. I've been there a few times with the others. What time are we meeting up with them tomorrow?" Serena looked away from the pair, rubbing her eyes. She was tired, she couldn't lie about that. But with things going the way they were, what time did she have to sleep?

The back door opened and Tea poked her head out. "You guys alright out here?"

Megara shook her head, then a swift movement cut the bands off the alien and sighed. "I just wanted to prove a point...your not untouchable....and if I ever learn you forcing others to fight like you forced me...I will come back and take your head off your shoulders...am I perfectly clear?" The master nodded quickly and Megara lowered her blade. "Just to be sure..." She turned and sliced thru the control system that was in the box, the power surging them shut down. She glare at the alien and said "fix it...and I will hear about it..."

She limped out of e box, tossing the light saber away. She paused by the former sith and said quietly "my honor is my bond, sith...something I doubt you understand now...but you could...depending on the path you take..." She limped away, barely staying up right as she walked down the hallway.

Megara glared at him and said "don't push it, sith...you are a tool at the moment. Your fate means nothing to me..." She pushed his hand aside and ran up the stairs, stumbling a few times before reaching the game masters box. She aimed her saber at him, the light beam inches from his neck. "I told you...I would end you..." The master hit the band again and Megara flinched in pain but didn't move. He stared and said "how is it you stand? That's full power running thru you" she took a deep breath and said "I am not my pain...pain is not my goal or path to my goal...any final words?"

Megara turned to him and said "if you must know, this man has been holding me hostage for months...saving me for his sith masters to come collect me and turn me to the dark side...but I'll never bow to the dark so...for what he did to me and the soldiers working with me...I intend to make him pay for his crimes.." She was shaking from the shocks running thru her and the lack of strength to fight but she pushed on, waving her hand and throwing guards away from them.

Megara nodded and started to make her way towards the far wall. The game master hit the button on his wrist and shocks ran thru the Jedi, but didn't slow her down. She cut into the wall, making foot holes to help her climb. She has just enough strength to finish the master off...but only just.

The light saber hit her feet and she looked at it. She reached down and picked up the saber, testing it in her hand. It has been a while since she held the cold metal, but the feeling in her hand made her gain hope. She looked around and saw the sith. She sensed the force from him and then she paused. He wasn't a lord. A lost soul...like so many in this world. She looked him in the eyes, then turned the saber on and said "you two are not the ones I want..." She looked up at the game master and yelled "you should have killed me when you had the chance!"

As the doors opened and the Warriors came out, Megara was chained to one of the pillars in the middle of the arena. The Game Master said "ladies and gentlemen, we have a real treat for you. Today our fighters face a truly worthy foe...a knight of the light, a true Jedi!" Cheers rang out and Megara looked up weakly. She wanted nothing more then to rip that aliens head off. But in her state, she might be able to take a droid out.

The bell was rung and Megara fought to break the chains that held her, wanting at least a fighting chance, not to be killed like an animal

Yugi nodded and said "agreed, and it might not be safe anymore at the museum either..." Serena held up a hand and said "I may know a place. I used to meet Adam there before we got our base. It's a Zoo for endangered animals thats all indoors. Has a couple cafes and a lot of places to have meetings and not get over heard"
