Yugi slowly got up, shaking badly. "Serena...how...I..." Serena was in bad shape, her back smoking still. She stirred, but was in no shape to do anything. The guardian moved next to Mahad and said "my king...your shadow needs your care, not to fight nothing there. Go to her...that's what she needs" she turned to Mahad and said "I'm going to track where that thing came from...figure out how it was able to be here without a duelist..." She vanished quickly. Yugi went to Yami, tears rolling down his face. "Yami...did I...did I do that to Serena?"

The creature hissed and tried to escape but to no good. Serena's deck glowed and Guardian of the King appeared, floating by Mahad. She followed his attack and hit the creature with Gearfree, both blades running the creature thru. It hissed one last time and a voice that made blood run cold said "this is not the end Pharoh...your shadow may have stopped me this time...but she won't be around forever..." The creature exploded, guardian shilding the group with her sword. Then the creature was no more.

Yugi moaned, trying to sit up fully, looking around. "What...happened..." He then looked up and saw Serena leaning over him, still shielding him. He stared in horror as he slowly saw what had happened. Serena smiled weakly and said "it's....alright...you and Yami...are....safe...." She got to her feet slowly, her eyes clouded over as Yugi tried to get up to help her. She looked at Yami and said "I told you...I would keep you safe...in any....life..." She fell to the side, her strength gone.

Serena locked with the creature, her staff glowing brightly. Suddenly she jumped back, breathing hard. Then what she saw next made her go white. Yugi was trying to get up and the creature saw him. It hissed and flew at him, barely awake enough to move. Serena jumped and ran for Yugi, the creature charging up another attack. She landed in front of him and hugged him just as the three rounded the corner. The creature released the blast and Serena held Yugi to her tightly. She closed her eyes as the blast hit her in the back. She cried out but didn't move, fighting to stay on her feet. The blast kept going, Serena laying Yugi back and holding herself up as the blast hit her. She fought hard then saw Yami and she smiled weakly. Her eyes were still glowing as she fought against the blast and she said weakly "Atem..." The blast finished and the creature screamed, Serena falling to her knees, her back smoking.

Serena was thrown back as the creature thru red energy at her. She jumped up and move to the side, breathing hard. She pulled a card from her deck and said "magical Mage of the Sands!" A white robed Mage appeared and threw sand magic at the creature, giving Serena a Chance to get to the clear side of it. Her staff glowed and she stopped, her eyes glowing again. She sensed Yami near by. "I have to protect my king..." She turned to the creature and ran forward, getting into a spot for an attack

Margaret walked down the hallways, Luna leading the way with her nose. They stopped at a apartment and Luna barked, looking at Margaret. Maggie nodded and waved her hand, the door opening. She looked around inside and muttered "no one home...but something was here"

The pair walked inside and Maggie started to looked around, sensing something in the room but couldn't place it. Luna was sniffing around when they heard steps and someone call ghru the door. Luna ran over to Maggie who pulled out her blade and her eyes glowed, ready for a fight.

Margaret looked at him, petting the creature on the head. "To live. I made him to be a defense...an aid if the need came...but he has his own spirit now. His life is his choice. Like Fang, who is here some where..." She flinched and held her ribs. Arachnid chirped with concern as Margaret moved away, panting as she held herself up on the work table. Bane moved towards her, Clara jumping up and going to her side. "Maggie? You alright?" Maggie shook her head, feeling light headed. That's when she heard the dripping. She looked down and saw her leg was bleeding badly. She hadn't noticed because of her dark clothing.

Maggie looked at the others then fell forward, Clara trying to catch her. "Maggie! Maggie are you alright?"
