He looked at Serena and said "when the invader had her by the throat...she must have used that trap card on her...when she didn't have her pendent on...Yami" Serena was shaking badly, tears running down her face.

Okay for all those I’m writing with, I’m not going to be on as much this week for I am on my own with the kids this week and I’m also trying to redo my office space. I promise I have not forgotten.

I am Megara Foxfire and I have been on the site for around 11 years now, old site then the new site. I am married to a wonderful man who makes me happy every day and I am a interior designer. I am at home with our daughter and son and I love to write to pass my time when I'm not cleaning my house or doing other wife things.
I love doing 1X1 role-plays and I love using thread or pms. I either go off my interest thread, which I have one that is more updated going or I have a list of characters that I am working on to base plots on. If you are interested in being partners just PM me and I'll talk with ya on ideas. I write causal, sometimes higher if the story grabs me.

Yugi was trying to think of something then looking at the markings he said "Yami...those markings....they looked like a trap card doesn't it?" He went to reach for their decks, hoping one of them had the card he was thinking of. "I know I've seen it before"
Suddenly Serena's pendent flashed red and serena gasped in pain. She rolled over, shaking badly as dark markings started to appear on her skin. Yugi moved back, looking shocked. "Yami, what's happening?"
Yugi nodded, moving hair from her face. "You don't think something else is wrong do you? Like that woman did something to her..." Yugi looked at Serena, then said "when I woke up...she had Serena by the throat...you don't think she did something to her at that point do you?"

Yugi thought for a few minutes then said "maybe it's why you felt you needed to stay...maybe you needed to find someone...maybe her" he looked at Serena. "You both have a tie to the past some how. She needs us as much as we need her. From what Joey told me, she's been fighting on her own for a long time...there has to be a reason she shows up now. That warrior that helped snap me out of that spell, you said you knew her from somewhere...maybe that's the key."
Yugi listened carefully, nodding at the end and saying "well if it helps, after Serena was attacked you kinda...went all king of games on that creature. You sent him back to the shadows and then we got Serena to the ER. After we waited for Serena and then you went to see her. That's where you passed out and fell asleep. We brought you home while Serena and Joey went to handle some things...after that you know" Yugi looked at Serena and said "you know...it's almost like she tries to take hits for us...like its her duty to protect you at any cost...I'm not sure even she knows why. I think it has something to do with whoever this Guardian is..." Yugi yawned then said "you don't need to worry about me. After today, I think they will think twice before going after me. And I have Mahad to watch over me when your not there...so what else is bothering you?"
Yugi cried out then pushed the Kings hand away. "What was that for? I could have woken the whole block with that kind of trick?" Serena stirred slightly and Yugi looked back at Yami. "What's going on in your head, Yami...you can tell me"
It was going going slightly. But Yugi sat up and said "Yami...is everything alright? Your not acting like yourself...is it Serena? Or what happened today?" He got up a and moved to sit by Yami, looking like he was about to fall over
Tea said "he is up in the office checking data for something...ill fill him in when I head up there" Yugi smiled, looking tired. "I'll stay with you Yami...keep you company" the others agreed with Yamis plan and headed off to bed.
An hour later Yugi was fighting not to fall asleep in the arm chair. Serena was restin fitfully, her head turning every now and again. Her pendent was glowing softly, slowly trying to help her. But her injuries were harsh. Yugi said tiredly "has her temperature come down at all?"
