Kyo hit the ground hard, coughing and laying there. Yuki tried to get as the creature turned to Bane and Ciel. Bane shifted into his demon form, not caring who saw his true form. "Whatever is making these things is trying to take the spirits the family has...Kyo has the spirit of the Cat Zodiac...the other one has the one of the rat...the demons are trying to take the souls...but why I don't know..." The demon jumped at Yuki who threw his arm up and caught his arm in the demons jaws. Bane growled and said "Ciel, get Kyo out of the way, leave this thing to me till Sebastain gets here" Bane howled and jumped, tackling the demon. Bane's action made the demon release Yuki who moved back, his arm bleeding. He went to Kyo and said "Kyo? Are you alright? Can you move?"

Tohru looked back and then the feeling hit her again. She looked forward and pointed to the front gate. "Yuki and Kyo...they are in trouble. I can sense it"

Maggie jumped up and over the demon, hitting it hard in the back. She landed behind him and snapped her fingers. Her shadows jumped up and started to wrap around the demon as she built energy in her hand. "Why go after the little girl!? Answer me, beast"

Artemis burst out laughing and stopped, holding her sides as Wolf looked up. "What the heck?" She saw the tail and held it up, blinking. Then wolf started to laugh and said "Well, it is my name sake isn't it?" The other two girls stopped dead as Wolf kept laughing. Artemis said "Wolf...I don't think we have ever heard you laugh before..."

Wolf let the others go ahead, thinking about Batman. Why would he give them a day off right in the middle of this madness? Did he know something she didn't? Or...was it something else? Was something wrong that he didn't want the others around for?

Artemis looked back and muttered to the other two "Wolf is in her head again..."

Splinters

Yes they are. To give more info, they were the pieces that were used to seal a demon of the sea, using the sins and darkness of humanity as the cage. But that was years ago and now that man kind has become darker, the pieces are losing power on their own and becoming parts of the demon, which is why if a normal human touches them the darkest part of them comes out. Avery is trying to get the pieces together to the pirate lords of now to redo the seal and then hide the pieces so no more will be hurt...

Does that make more sense now??

Wolf nodded and lead the three out of the alleyway and heading towards the center of the city where they could see a huge mall next to a conference center. Wolf pointed and said "Mall is attached to Gotham Center so we can jump between the two easily" Artemis nodded and said "I need a new jacket...my nice one got trashed in that fight with the ice giants"

Bane and Ciel got there just as Yuki was on the ground and Kyo was by the wall pinned by a huge long demon with three tails and bright yellow eyes. It seemed to be trying to move its mouth close to Kyo's, Kyo glowing softly. Bane stopped and stared, knowing what was happening. "That's why the family is being targeted...these demons want the spirits of the Zodiac...its a power play..."

Tohru picked Kisa up just as Sebastain grabbed them, Tohru looking back in worry. "We can't leave Ms. Maggie alone with that thing! What if she is hurt?"

Maggie spun her staff in her hands, watching the creature carefully. "Why are you here...why only go after the young girl and not the older...what is your plan here...who do you serve!" The creature roared and jumped at Maggie who sighed and said "Fine...hard way it is"

Splinters

That's about what I see, adding Avery trying to find out where her curse came from and her powers growing and trying to remove the curse before the demon side of her takes over.

Haruhi frowned but didn't ask more, waiting for someone to text her back. She was starting to get worried.

Sebastian opened the bathroom door and walked inside, not leaving any foot prints behind. The bathroom was worse then the hallway, blood everywhere. Sebastian frowned and muttered "none of the other scenes had this kind of bloodshed....why is this different..."

Bane growled and said "not far from the main gate...I smell two of the cursed as well. They must be trying to find the girl come on" he took off running, the smell of rat and cat in his nose.

Maggie nodded and said "it was the boys close to ms Tonru. I spotted them heading out when I heard the young tiger cry out. You head to your master, take the girls with you. I will handle this beast"

Haruhi looked up and said "how did you know it was kyoya? Did I mention already"

Sebastian took the bracelet and said "thank you, now head to the nurses office and make sure your alright?" When they left Sebastian thought to Ciel *it was a girl named amethyst that was taken...it looks like a blood bath here...I'm going in to see what else I can find...*
