Ash nodded and muttered “agreed...” she slowly stood up and started to move the bodies so they were next to each other. They were almost ready to set the fire when ash suddenly grabbed Carth and tossed him to he ground. A piecing scream hit the clearing and Ash covered her ears, covering Carth as she tried to get to her weapon. She moved over and pulled her fan free and opened it showing four sharp blades linked together by a steel ring. She jumped up and thru the blade, then screamed herself into the blade and sent it flying towards the other screams, her ears starting to bleed a little

Ash was checking when she said “looks like their ear drums exploded...but I’m not sure how that would...” she suddenly heard a branch crack a few yards away and she hand her hand on her fan. “Carth...don’t move...south of our location ten yards...”

Ash nodded and they went onward, her hand resting on her weapon. It was the flying scream as she called it. It was one of The only things she had that was from before the blank spot in her memory. She rubbed her temples as they reached a clearly and she paused. A few bodies were laying there, ash jumping down and running over. After she checked them she sighed and said “they are all dead...his must have happened last night...,two men and a woman...but what were they doing all the way out here?”

She stood and looked around, feeling on edge.

Ash listened as they rode and said nodded saying “so just out of the goodness of your heart? Interesting but I’ll take it. Last nights fight was something g I would rather not repeat of being on my own...”

They were deep in the woods now and she was watching carefully. She muttered “I hate this...it feels like we are being watched”

After they rode out of the camp Ash turned and said “we are heading north to figure out where these creatures are coming from and why...and why they seem to be coming after me so badly”

She sighed and rubbed her head and watched the sun starting to rise. “Why are you coming with me?”

Ash stirred and opened her eyes, looking around and muttered “what? Oh ya...” she shook her head and got u slowly, rubbing her face and looking around. “My horse should be in the field...we should go before the captain tries anything”

She finished loading the bags and jumped up and said “we have a long way to go. You ready?”

Dante sighed and pulled him to the side and said “it’s no sickness that is of normal nature. Did she keep telling someone to shut up before when you were alone in the chart room.”

Avery cursed and muttered “the bloody heart wouldn’t shut up...I couldn’t focus...” solar shhhed her and said “Sleep Captain...we have you now just rest and recover your strength”

Solar laughed and said “oh we all saw it, she’s just so stubborn she won’t let us do anything till it gets too far...too stubborn Captain” Dante sighed and said “I knew she wasn’t feeling right but I was trying to get the ship under way and she was locked up in here...” he looked at him and said “she’s sick but not from anything normal...but it’s not my tale to tell...”
