The Golden Crescent Hunt {Private} MegaraFoxfire and Dragon Princess

Serena’s eyes shot open and her shadows stopped in their tracks. She sat up, shaking and breathing hard as she looked around and saw the fox next to her. “Torak...what...” the door opened and Dante walked in and saw Bane on the floor. He looked around and said “I feel I missed something...is everything alright?”

Serena turned her face, her hands shaking as she tried to calm down. Dante looked at VT and said “something nasty had come out of the darkness...you all need to suit up”

Dante looked at the screen and muttered “of course captain...i shall rally the troops...” he vanished from the room, the captain feeling a kiss on the cheek before he was gone.

Bane cursed as Toraksui woke up and said “jeez, we didn’t think you would be up any time soon...you had a bad reaction to a statue being broken in your home village...lucky Dante was able to repair it and Serena stopped ya from losing control completely...” he got up and said “I’ll go see what the noise was...”

When he got to the door he opened it but suddenly was thrown across the room as shadows slipped out of the doorway and wrapped around him then threw him. Bane slammed into the far wall and slid down, stunned for a few moments.

Serena was shaking on the bed as her nightmares got worse, hearing voices of the past. The shadows were going nuts with her fear and panic.

Dante smirked and turned her chair to look at him, still working the tight muscles in her shoulders. “I am bad, Captain...I have evil in my soul...he isn’t bad. Just angry and lost...I wouldn’t worry too much about him. With the goddess around...he won’t want to harm others...”

Bane nodded then they heard a crash from Serena’s room. Bane jumped up and said “Dante isn’t in there right?”

Serena was curled up on the bed, her shadows moving around and reacting to the nightmare she was having. She heard voices and a females voice rang out in her mind. “You must bridge the gap...you must be the one to bring the balance back...” Serena was gasping for breathing, tears and sweat covering her face.

Dante tilted his head and said “they are good people...trying their best to help the world...maybe there is a way to let them without the restrictions of humans want... foolish creatures some times aren’t my dear captain?” He smiled as his eyes glowed a little brighter as he said “that fox is something else...image if he was in full control of himself...and the goddess...amazing work. You have a great team here...why do you need humans at all...”

Bane sat down and said “ what do you think she meant that he knew her father? Wasn’t he human?”

Serena was tossing and turning in her bed, a cold sweat running down her face.

Dante walked over and moved behind her and rested his hands in her shoulders and started rubbing the knots out. “One to release some of the tension in your shoulders...then help with anything else you need...” his eyes flashed again, his aura gathering around the pair.

Bane looked over and said “from what I’ve heard his the descendant of the Dante who wrote the Inferno...and rumor is his mother was a demon slash witch...” he glanced at Serena’s room and muttered “I don’t like how he looks at her...like a Hunter looking at its prey...”

Dante sighed and said “fine...I’ll come back later and see how things are going...” he left the room and Bane cursed. “I really hate that guy...what is his drive after Serena? Do we have any background on that nut job?”

The office door opened and Dante stood there, his eyes glowing as he walked in. “The goddess is asleep...sadly the other pair there made me leave...but I thought I could do you a service...”

Serena slept in the bed, but not peacefully. She tossed and turned in her sleep, muttering in her sleep.

Dante smirked and his eyes glowed again. “Come now...I wouldn’t do anything to harm the goddess...just a little fun is all...” Bane growled and muttered “ya we know the fun you have...your not messing with her.” Dante shrugged and sat on the couch. “I can wait...i Vos asked me to keep an eye on things away...”

Bane looked at VT, not liking this at all.

Serena gasped at the pain and looked at her shoulder. She looked at Vt and started to feel numb. She shook her head and said “I don’t want to leave him alone again...I can’t...I can’t...” she fell to the side, her eyes closing as the drug took affect.

Dante watched this and smiled slyly. He would take her to sleep, then have his own fun.

Serena shook her head and slowly got up and moved back to Toraksui. “I’m fine...I’m tired but I’ll live...I don’t want to leave him like this...” Bane looked at the droid and demon mage. “She’s not hearing us...guys we need to get her to sleep”

Serena was about to shout again when the swords magic hit her and her eyes glazed over and she fell forward. Bane cursed and ran forward, catching her and setting her down on the ground. “Serena!”

After watching the scene she stirred and opened her eyes, blinking hard. “VT...Bane...” she slowly sat up and saw the three men sitting by her on the floor. Dante looked worried and said “my lady? Are you alright?”

Serena looked at Toraksui and muttered “he knew father...he knew my father...I don’t understand this...why didn’t he say...” she tried to get up and Bane said “Serena you need to get checked out...are you okay?” She looked at them all and said “no...”
