John sighed and nodded. Then he pointed and added “that way will lead you to back yard...there’s a lovely garden back there. Quiet and peaceful...and I’m trying to quit. The smoking...Chas hates when I smoke around him so I’m trying to quit” he looked at the floor, feeling guilty. Maybe he had done all of this wrong. It wouldn’t be the first time.

Serena moved silently and waved her hand again. Her shadows moved and hit them both at the same time, catching them and pulling them out of sight. She smiled and moved and started to undress one of them. “Let’s hurry, there might be a guard change at the top of the hour...” she slipped into the uniform as fast as she could, her shadows helping Chas move the guards into a closet and shutting the door.

Ash watched Jasper drop the one who slapped her, her eyes burning with rage. Then he asked for the key and she blinked. She held up the cuffs as he started to unlock her and she heard his words. She thought for a minute then cursed as the first cuff came off.

It was bad. The skin under the metal was raw and bloody. She felt a part of her power come back and and she sighed. “We need to go...these bloody wastes of flesh aren’t worth the trouble...” when he unlocked her other hand she tried to stand up, favoring her right leg that looked broken below the knee. She was half broken and most of her body was either cut, burned or bruised. But she fought to stand on her own two feet.

She glared at the men around her and muttered “if I ever seen any of your faces again...the next thing you will see before you die is black...” she limped to to cell door, her honor driving her to walk out of the cell. But it wouldn’t last very long.

“Shall we leave this cursed place, Rintin?” She turned and looked at him, her eyes glowing purple in the darkness.

John smiled softly and said “from what I have seen and done…seeing it wouldn’t have helped. It all depends on what happens but Serena made it sound like that you won’t miss the part that really matters…I’m sorry, I just reacted last night and I wanted to spare you the pain I’ve been thru…” he got up and put his hands in his pockets. “Man I could use a smoke…now I’m stressed about this…”

Serena opened her eyes and nodded. “Let’s go find this monster…and see what is really going on in this place. I have a feeling fate needs us here for more then to help Kay overcome her past”

John shook his head and said “no...because I know the trauma of having to live it, and I didn’t want you to relive it by hearing Chas give me the information I asked for...Serena said that it would be better if I told you one on one like this. Said better for your mental health...and they both decided to check things out. Chas had a feeling about all of this and his never been wrong before. And Serena said something about this is what a vessel of the gods is meant to do? I sounds like crap but...I just didn’t want to put you on the spot or at a point to hurt you...”

Serena smirked and said “we just need the card. We can sneak in and find uniforms in the storage...hold on” two doctors were coming out and had their id badges clipped to their coats. Serena moved a little to get a clear shot then held her hand up. One of the shadows following the doctors moved up and carefully pulled the card off the jacket and moved back. The shadow shot away and towards the pair, the card dropping into Chas’s hands. Serena smiled and nodded. “Got it”

The men turned and saw Jasper and they went whiter then they had been with her threat. The one next to Shade said “we wouldn’t dream of any harm coming to her, sir…truly…”

Ash glared at him and muttered “right…your in here to give me kind wishes hou sons of…” she pulled at the sea prism cuffs and spat “you bloody dicks have been in here every night this week trying to take me! Well I won’t let it happen you got it! Your egos are the only things big around…”

The one by her turned and slapped her hard across the face without thinking. Ash gasped, blood hitting her lip. She hung there, shaking then moved to glared at him. “I get out of here…your first…”

Well after Shade is broken out and they on the sea, I was thinking that they would meet her as a barmaid in a bigger city or maybe cruise ship?
