Trish smiled and clapped her hands a little. “Really? I’m so happy!” She jumped and hugged Chas tightly. “My first friend! I can’t wait to meet her…”

Serena tried to sit up and gave him a look. “I mean it Josh…the world needs your music…in it…” she fell back onto the pillows, her body giving up.

He glanced at her and said “yep, it lines up…to the Greek God Apollo…who drives the chariot that brings the sun”

Splinters

Scarlet looked at her and said “that’s master Shade…you met him this morning. His the head of security on the ship…he is the captains eyes and ears on the ship. He makes sure everyone is safe…” she looked down at her hands and said softly “his a selfless man…”

Bane ran after him and cursed “she secured it, but it might have been the one of the ropes that wasn’t treated for heavy rain. We have been in the works switching the ropes out. But in the panic I didn’t see if the one she grabbed was a new one. The knot will come right out in this storm if it’s the old one”

Iris jumped over and opened a sealed crate and whistled. “Daniel! Ropes are here!”

Avery was steering the ship, seeing the eye of the storm, where she was heading to be clear. She just had to get there. But suddenly she felt her life line go limp around her waist and she cursed. She held on for dear life, knowing if she slipped now, she was dead no matter if she was cursed or not.

Trish smiled snd said “she sounds like fun…can I meet her? Is she around my age? can we be friends even though I’m different?

Serena smiled and laid back down, rubbing her face. She turned a little to get more comfortable and said weakly “you should keep going for your dream…it’s important…”

John moved the page over the map, starting to line it up and see which one matched the best. He frowned a little, not finding it at first. Then he paused and his eyes got wide.

Trish nodded and walked back over to him. “You have a daughter yes? What is she like?”

Serena smiled and said softly “that’s amazing. I would love hear something you have written some time…” she flinched and held her ribs for a moment, closing her eyes for a moment.

John smiled at her and nodded. “In the desk second drawer. There’s tracing paper and pencils.” He turned the map again and rubbed his eyes again.

Trish smiled and looked at him. “Lobsters mate for life. They find the one and stay with them for life. It’s amazing…” she looked around and said “is Serena going to be okay?”

Serena sat up a little and smiled. “What did you play? Or were you a singer?”

John looked at the two she was pointing at and nodded. “It could be either…how can we be sure?” He rubbed his eyes, looking beat.

Trish nodded and said “she is her lobster?” She paused at a huge flower and smiled, carefully touching the petals. “True love…souls mates…”

Serena smiled and flinched again. “Trish was talking about it before with Kay…and my shadows hear everything. I don’t miss much”

John looked over her shoulder, their faces almost touching as he asked “anything come up yet?”

Serena shrugged and pulled her staff from her side and said “only one way to find out” she moved to try and get a clear shot of the sphere, like she was playing pool. Tristan stood by seto and muttered “should we get ready to run?”

Duke pointed at the wall and said “there, it’s like a message or warning…any idea what it’s saying? And why is it here?” Yugi was looking around then stopped. He knew this place. He turned and said “guys, I know this place. I’ve been seeing it in my nightmares…”

Just as yugi said it, Serena hit the core out of the pentagram and looked around, waiting for something to happen.

Trish stopped and looked back at him. “What do you mean? Did it end badly before?”

Serena leaned into his hand and sighed, blushing again as he kissed her forehead. She nodded and smiled at him, pulling up and covers and starting to lay down. She flinched a little as her movements hit her wounds but she was able to find a place that worked. She looked at him again and asked “what were you going to school?”

John slipped them on and said “only when I get headaches…and drive in the dark. It’s why Chas does the driving most of the time…too many blasts in my time with bright lights. Caused a little eye damage. This looks more Greek then Norse, try the sections on the Greek and Roman gods”

Trish smiled and nodded. “Maybe…but she is with John right? Are they a couple yet?” She moved to looked at the flowers again, her hands behind her back.

Serena smiled and said “that would be very kind of you, Josh…just till I am totally asleep? I would feel a lot better if I wasn’t alone…” she looked at him and her cheeks went red.

John nodded and turned the map to get another look. “It has wings of some kind…maybe? Dang it do you see a pair of glasses anywhere?” He rubbed his eyes, cursing a little.

Tristen looked around and frowned. “I don’t like this guys…this could be a trap…anyone have any idea what’s going on?” Duke was looking at a wall and said “hey, who reads hieroglyphs? There’s a bunch over here”

Yugi looked around then said softly “they keep saying the heart and soul of the pharaoh…Yami? What if it’s more then just you they are after? What if the heart is…talking about someone?”

Serena walked over and looked at it closely. Then she said “we need to hit it without touching it with our hands…maybe my staff can help”
