Dante nodded weakly and said “you got it my captain…” he moved over and picked VT up but Bane waved him off. “Get him to a charger. I’ll stay with the captain” Dante moved and carried VT to the tech center.

Bane slowly got to his feet and stood behind his captain to be her back up. He wiped the blood from his nose and said “we don’t want trouble…Torak is a friend, a dear one now. His safety is one of my top goals.”

Serena tried to get up and said “maybe I should go outside…see if I can help…”

Bane flinched and held his chest. “Shouldn’t have shifted…flames and my GOD form don’t mix…” he looked at Vos and said “thanks captain…”

Serena tried to sit up weakly and said “what’s going on? Are the others alright?”

There was a burst of red smoke and Dante stumbled out of it, bloody and beaten. He smiled and looked around “oh, hello all! What’s going on here?” He looked around and said “Ms Maya? Is that you? My have you grown”

Serena nodded and laid down fully, her shadows pulling the blankets up and she was asleep within minutes. Soon the whole house was a sleep, the shadows on watch.

Serena nodded and flinched again. Then a shadow came flying and to her, going into her hand and she looked up. “Samuel, get outside now! The others are in danger”

Bane fought to push the flames off and said “don’t blame him. It’s his programming. You want the turn coat humans in charge. Not us who actually do something to help the world…” he shifted back and fell to his knees, burned and blood dripping from his nose. “VT? You okay?”

Serena sat up a little and said “my brother. They have him somewhere in this place…I came to get him back but Vos asked me to help out with some missions and things before she could let me see him…”

Bane growled and said “that’s it!” He shifted into his wolf form, but bigger and nastier. He took his true form of a huge wolf with armor. His other name was Fenrir, the Norse wolf god. He tackled the woman and pinned her down. “Enough! His fine! Whoever your talking about is fine and doesn’t need to broken out! Stop hurting my friends and risking my others like Torak and Serena! Knock it off or I will eat you!”

Bane sighed and slowly stood up, flinching a little. “We couldn’t really. We know she was just being nice but we don’t want to cause you any more…” he stopped and held his side.

Maggie looked over and said “Bane? Are you alright?” Bane nodded softly and muttered “I’m good…” but now the scent of blood was hitting the air.

Serena moved her hand to her chest, tapping her skin. “It’s my core…something isn’t right…it’s like my core is changing…like a darkness trying to take me over…it’s brother…I think…something is wrong”

Bane knew VT needed to recharge then said “are you here to see someone? Come on we are all tired and have had a very bad week. A spirit fox going nuts when a totem was broken. A demon mage trying to be a puppet master. A gatekeeper linked to a night goddess having a core meltdown. And a fox and vampire having a pissing match over the female gatekeeper. Seriously just please make something easy and just tell us what you need?!”

Bane shook his head and said “we don’t want to use it. We have to keep others from finding it. We have to find it and hide it more. Or something like this…” Maggie rubbed her head and said “we aren’t wanting to use it. Is there a way to find it…”

Bane pulled the paper back and said “we don’t want to cause any trouble for you. You don’t have to get involved” Maggie sighed and rubbed her face. They both looked stressed and tired

Serena flinched softly and opened her eyes softly. Then smiled weakly. “Torok…your here…” she looked up and said to Sam “play nice…his a friend…” she flinched and said “Torak…something is wrong…”

Bane jumped up and growled softly. “Not a chance lady. Not till you say why your here. We have too much crap right now” he moved in front of VT protectively.
