Dante nodded and said “I stay for her. The only reason I stay is to be near her…” he looked at the vampire and said “bane stays because he knows that his family here needs him. Serena…I don’t think she even knows why she truly stays” he stopped and turned his head. “Did Serena say anything about where she was going next?”

Bane sighed then finished getting up, stretching his body out. “Well, guess it’s a waiting game then…I’m good? All fixed up now?”

Serena snuck into the holding level, using the shadows to hide. She walked into the main control room, looking around for a way to find her brother. “Where are you brother…”

Bane tried to get up and muttered “crap…it must have been really bad tonight…I should go check on her…” he slowly started to get up.

Dante nodded softly and said “true…I’m just worried for the captain…that man is a terror that should have been ended long ago…but she won’t allow it. He wouldn’t stand a chance against us but…” he pulled out Toraksui’s shrine and said “lucky I was able to grab this when he wasn’t looking…we need a better plan for next time that monster shows up”

Serena waited till they were gone and covered her face, trying to get the shaking down. Then she stood and said “Vos is recovering and the others are busy…this will be my only shot to find my brother and learn the truth…” she walked out and headed to the holding level.

Dante stared and then said “that was your best idea? What about just telling her to be quiet?” Serena waved them off and said “go ahead really I’m fine…”

Bane nodded and said “maybe…but it’s over now. Just have to let her cool off now…”

Serena blinked and said “yes…you guys go ahead…” Dante frowned and said “Sam what happened in here?”

Dante was pissed as he opened the door. “I’m going to find him myself and make him suffer slowly and painful…his gone. No one died. Vos will need some peace…” he saw Serena and blinked. “Why does she look like she’s going to pass out?”

Bane sighed and said “Vos will need to be checked…I wish she would let me hit him…”

He vanished to check the others. Serena nodded snd sat down in a chair and said “we can leave now…his gone…”

The general felt a hand on his shoulder. “He is here general. He was finishing a mission. And his shrine is in my lab” Dante appeared and stood in front of Vos. “I had to run tests on the shrine. To confirm a few things. I wasn’t told of the visit” he set the shrine on the shelf and said “I’m so sorry for the mix up”

Serena blinked snd said “it’s alright…I just…I’ve never kissed anyone without it being saving them…” she looked up and said “Torak is back…”

Serena stared at him, her cheeks red and her legs shaking badly. “It’s…it’s okay…you were doing…” she was breathing sharp, her mind spinning a mile an hour.

Dante was in the hallway in front of them but only Vos could see him. He waited till they were by him and he said “everyone is secure. No need to worry…let me know if you want me to take him down”

Serena turned when she heard it and her eyes glowed brightly. She wanted to get to Vos and beat the one who hit her to the inch of his life. “No…let me get down there…there’s been enough pain today…” she started to move around him.

Samuel would hear Dante’s voice say “make her go into the room. It’s bad. Jason is in a bad mood and might take it out on her next. Make her move Samuel. I’m getting the others secure and trying to warn Torak”
