John ran his fingers thru his hair as his breathing finally started to calm down. He looked at her and said “true…” Serena smiled at Sam and nodded her thanks as she leaned forward and held her head. Bane walked back over and said “well it will take time for the shadows to hunt. Shall we rest and plan our next move? And make sure these two don’t over do it till their strength returns?”

Okay for all those I’m writing with, I’m not going to be on as much this week for I am on my own with the kids this week and I’m also trying to redo my office space. I promise I have not forgotten.

I am Megara Foxfire and I have been on the site for around 11 years now, old site then the new site. I am married to a wonderful man who makes me happy every day and I am a interior designer. I am at home with our daughter and son and I love to write to pass my time when I'm not cleaning my house or doing other wife things.
I love doing 1X1 role-plays and I love using thread or pms. I either go off my interest thread, which I have one that is more updated going or I have a list of characters that I am working on to base plots on. If you are interested in being partners just PM me and I'll talk with ya on ideas. I write causal, sometimes higher if the story grabs me.

Bane nodded and moved to a shadow on the floor and his eyes glowed. “Find the other vessel of the heavens…return when you have news” the shadows moved and vanished. Serena was in her feet worried about John when a few steps made her stop and hiss thru her teeth, her head swimming as she stumbled backward.

Ash looked around weakly snd Scarlet smiled. “Don’t worry, my friend…your safe now. We will watch over you” Ash sighed and closed her eyes, passing out again. Scarlet leaned back in the chair and asked “so, where are you two heading anyway?”
John fought to breath evenly but his whole body was shaking now. He closed his eyes trying to focus as Serena flinched and tried to move to help. “Easy John…just breath…I know those visions felt as real as life but they weren’t…just nightmares pulled from the darkness…”
Scarlet shook her head and said “no, I don’t read this. I know the location because I was raised by the old ruins of the dragon clans. But why she have markings like this…” she looked up and added “and why is the Lady of the Dark trying to get her hands on her?”

Old tongue of the dragons and symbols lost to time. Scarlet frowned and said “these look like old school warrior markings…why would a ranger have them?”
Scarlet shook her head as she brought over a gem which she set next to the bed snd started making seals on the head board. “No, I don’t know her. That guy had been following the rangers group for weeks. I was hired to follow this guy after he passed thru the last town which right when he came thru one of those monsters appeared. Looks like my trial is dead. But if your girl here was his target it was for a reason…”

The girl ran in and pulled her hat off. She knelt down and said “hand me the rag” she took it and sniffed it. She pulled her bag out and said “it’s a numbing poison. Help me lay her down”
She jumped up and laid tools from her bag. “Alright hold on, we need to lay her down and keep her cool. The poison is meant to keep her from fighting back. It will wear off as long as the fever doesn’t get too bad”

Ash finally got her hands free and pulled the rag from her mouth, her head swimming. The man cursed and said “she is being summoned by the lady of the dark…I must serve her…no…wait no!” He suddenly burst into black flames, rolling on the floor and then was gone. Ash was trying to get up snd muttered “Carth…I think…I’ve been poisoned…we have to…” she fell forward, her skin on fire.
