Bane jumped in and landed by the pair. He pulled Serena onto his back and pulled the other man in his mouth by his shirt and jumped out of the seal before it lit up. Bane set the boy down and said “Fee! Get out of the seal before it turns on! With them gone it’s going to implode

John held the wound and said “got it…Sam…can you keep talking? I don’t want to pass out…”

The man frowned and said “I have been called to bring the light back to this world…” Serena stirred, trying to wake up. The man finished the seal and added “now if you don’t mind I must finish my work..”

John cursed and took the bottle, drinking it and saying “go for it…I can handle it…”

Bane nodded snd moved around behind the man, letting Fee handle him how she will. He waited for the right moment to jump. The man looked up and said “ah, the fire one. Come to witness the awakening of the gods?”

John smirked and moved to rip the pants at the hole, ripping to the hole and around it. He cursed as the pain hit again and said “there…crap don’t let me pass out yet…”

Bane ran with her and shifted into his full spirit form, running with her and saying “as long as the spell hasn’t started it will be alright. We have to keep that spell from starting or there is no stopping it. And then Serena’s vision will come true”

They made it to the safe spot and Bane growled. “He has them bond and drained again. We have to get them out of that seal…”

John cursed softly and said “do what you must love…I’m not going anywhere”

John cursed and said “I’m sorry love…as soon as you guys left the bloody son of a …he burst thru the doors and we were pinned. Sam is safe…Serena saw to that…he shot me and took Serena…my guess his heading for the Needle…you two have to find them before he starts the spell. He thinks his waking Nyx in Serena.”

Bane looked up, hearing the call “what? That’s not right. Serena is her vessel, not the goddess herself”

John was breathing hard and said “love…it’s up to you now…time to show the world of the dark want your made of…” he was fighting not to pass out as he looked at Sam. “I’ll protect Sam Kay…go get our girl back…”.

Serena was laying under the space needle next to a young man, both out cold. The man was making a seal on the ground around them, humming to himself as his vines moved around them. “It’s almost time, my pets…soon the goddess of the moon and god of the sun will be here to bless us with their light…”

John was panting as he pulled his tie off and said “wrap it above the wound…tight…” then he phone went off and he pulled it out, his vision blurred. He answered “Kay…it was a trap…the whole bloody thing…they got Serena…I tried to stop him from taking her…” he cursed and then held the phone to Sam. “Can you…put it on speaker…”

Bane was looking around, his eyes glowing. “I will find her…what happened to John?”

John pulled the vines hard as the man pulled Serena up to face him, the vines acting as his limbs. He smiled and touched Serena’s face. “Perfection…only a goddess could be as lovely…” Serena pulled her face back and said “bite me, dirt bag. I’m the one you want. Let John go” the man thought it over and said “it is true…the mage doesn’t mean anything to our cause…” he snapped his fingers. Then vines shocked John who cried out in pain, Serena crying out “leave him alone!”

John finally freed his hand and threw a fireball at the man. The vines blocked it and he sighed. “I see we are going be a problem…” he pulled a pistol from his hip and aimed it at John. Then he fired and the shot hit John in the leg. John cursed and Serena said “stop it!” The man put the weapon away and said “just to keep him from follow us my goddess…” the vines shocked Serena enough to make her black out and go limp. Then the vines pulled out of the house, leaving John bleeding on the floor as the man turned to leave. “fair well mage…” the door shut and John cursed, holding his leg as the shadows released Sam with the danger over. He was panting and said “crap…it was a bloody trap…I’m such a moron…we have to go after them…”

Bane suddenly cursed, holding his chest as he leaned on the car, his eyes wide. He looked at Kay and said “call John…now…”

Bane nodded and jumped in, the car driving off and he said “I pray as well…but they can’t do much if they don’t have Serena right?” He was on edge, something at the back of his mind bugging him. If he couldn’t place what it was.

John frowned and got up slowly, his eyes glowing for a moment. Then he said “they might not have seen a magic tail…if they waited till Kay left…then we would be sitting duck…” suddenly the front door burst open and vines shot inside. John cursed tried to fight them off, but they wrapped around him. Serena summoned her shadows and wrapped them around Sam, shielding her as the vines hit the elemental and slammed her into the far wall. Then the vines started dragging the pair out, the vines unable to get to Sam thanks to the shadows protecting her. John tried to get lose as Serena did, but they weren’t strong enough and a voice said from the door “come now…no need to fight…your going to bring back one of the great ones…” Serena cursed and tried to kick the vines off of her ad the door steps got closer. John said “take your bloody hands off of her right now!”

The man that stood over Serena looked at John and said “she is going to be a goddess once more, mage…and there’s nothing you can do to stop that transformation”

Bane looked around and said “I believe we need to head to the space needle. That’s where Serena’s vision showed things happening. I think we can take a train down there if you don’t want to take the car”

Serena leaned back and cursed, hating this. “I don’t like them going alone…” John nodded and said “we have to let them handle it. As long as they don’t show up here…” then he paused and looked at Sam. “Hold up…could they have followed us from the alley?”

Serena cursed and tried to get up. “Not without me…” John looked over snd said “Serena don’t repeat what just happened. We both can’t go out there like this” Bane nodded and pushed Serena back down. “Stop moving around Serena”

Bane moved to Kay and said “right behind you Kay”
