Bane walked over and said “easy Matias. No reason to be nervous with these guys” he went to the work table to work on the weapon cleaning as the boss walked over to the window. The shadows moved around them.

Dante leaned back in his chair and said “so how are things with you Matias?”

Bane looked at his watch and said “we need to wait for dusk to go in so a couple of hours”

Scarlet jumped up and said “then I’ll make some food! Can’t go save lives with empty stomachs” she summoned her wings and she flew over to the kitchen and started to make food.

Iris looked st the boss and asked “are you coming with us boss?” They nodded and said “yes I thought you might need back up”

The boss nodded and said “yes. This go round there was a note left. They want prisoners released. But they hasn’t said who yet. We need to find out who they are looking for. Then from that we can track them down and see what’s really going on”

Bane nodded and looked at Dante who smirked. “That I can find out about. We will need to speak Lady Midnight” the boss nodded and said “I went to see if she was in. Her assistant said she would be at the capital building tomorrow. You and Matias can go look into that. Tonight we have a different mission”

Scarlet jumped up at the que and said “yes, we are restoring power to the lower level. All the pieces are in place. We just need to go down and place the shields to keep the puritans from messing it all up”

John nodded and said “food sounds amazing. We should get some food for Serena when she wakes up…” he looked around then frowned. “We should lock up just to be safe…”

Dante looked up and said “there is one odd thing. The purests are being looked into for this, but there’s no clues leading to them. It’s odd.” Bane sighed and rubbed his neck.

“This is going to messy if this keeps going. The people won’t take much more of this…”

Suddenly the doors opened again and The Boss walked in. They wore all black, down to gloves and the face covering. They walked up to the other and they nodded in greeting. Scarlet waved as Bane nodded to them.

“Boss, looks like we have another missing. We don’t have the file…” the boss pulled a file from their cloak and handed it to Bane. Bane opened it and blinked a few times.

“Hold on, the one grabbed was the niece of the head of finance?” The boss nodded and said, a voice changer in place “yes, it’s now a full on case. They are handing the case of the head of Ciziten Welfair and Defense. Which is Lady Midnight”

Bane nodded and said “the boss knows how to do this. From what I have seen…they aren’t new to This line of work” the doors opened suddenly and a red hit man walked in with boxes and bags.

Iris looked up and said “greetings Dante” the vampire walked to the make shift kitchen and set the supplies down. “Morning all. I hope everyone is doing well. I got food, medkits and a few things the boss asked for” he walked over, pulling his fadora off and set it on the table and sat down. “I heard about the new missing case. It was a pixie this time.” Dante, the royal blood vampire and detective at the police station. His sword sat on his back. The blood blade that never left his side.

Bane frowned and opened the files to check. “Pixie, fawn…werewolf, vampire and a water elemental. What the heck are they looking for?”

Bane shook his head and said “you didn’t miss anything. Still waiting on the boss and Dante. Dante was bringing in supplies. The boss should be here soon” scarlet looked up and said “the hooded leader of our rebellion. Have you ever seen them Bane?”

Bane shook his head and moved some files onto the table. “No, I’ve never seen their face. They must have a reason to wear the hood and mask” Iris nodded and said “they have a strong aura whoever they are”

John nodded and put his arm around her. “Thanks for checking on her…my leg is still numb…” he looked at the couple and asked “so…now what?” He rubbed her shoulder in his hand, his other rubbing his neck which was stiff.

It was a huge warehouse, with other levels linked by stairs and walk ways. In the middle of the room was three people. One was a huge man with silver hair and strong figures. This was Bane Clawson, the second in command and werewolf. He looked up and said “Matias, welcome back. We were just about to look into it…”

Next to him was a striking woman with red hair and bright gold eyes. Scarlet Flame, the fire pixie. She looked up and waved at him. “Hey! I got that stuff you were looking for. It’s in a bag on the work table”

Next to her was a young woman with Grey and green hair. Her bright green eyes showed her nature. She was The sage of the group. Iris Meadows. “Greetings Matias. I hope your travels were safe and pleasant?”

John watched Kay and asked when she came back down “our guardian doing alright? I thought she would be feeling better by now since it’s been a few hours…did I miss something before when we…we’re having trouble?” He didn’t want to say too much in front of Lara.
