Serena nodded and said “your staying because one, you can get John to behave, and two, anything tries to get to him here, you’ll burn them to a crisp” John frowned and said “guys I don’t like you going alone…” Trish moved and sat on the floor by the bed.

Serena lead him back to the stairs and said “we three can handle things. Trish can help Kay with John for a while. I don’t want to add more stress to them until we can break this fever”

They made it back to the room and Serena walked in with the aura of the doctor she had been training to be. “Take these at the times on the bottles. Kay, your in charge. John, I’m giving her power to best the crap out of you if you cause her any trouble”

Trish giggled, appearing by Josh.

Serena nodded and added “and she can keep him calm and help with his rest. And I hunk she needs a break. The last few days have been hard on her too”

John nodded weakly and rubbed his face. “So how bad is this? Really what did Serena say?”

Bane sighed and rubbed his face. “Yes, but I’d rather go into them till we can be sure about the other two and the boss. But the boss said they would meet us on the way to the mission point. Which…where is that exactly?”

Scarlet walked over and set a glass of water in front of the girl and said “department of records. You guys are getting something from there. No clue what. I just have location info and transport.” Bane sighed and added “I have gear and exit. Dante had entry and personal…I think Lillian had cover and medical.”

Serena frowned and said “actually…what if Kay stayed with John? She’s scary when she’s pissed. I think she will stop anyone Messing with John”

John sighed and flinched. “I’m sorry…your right. I just…we keep getting hit and there’s nothing to stop the fight…I don’t want to leave…the fighting to others…”

Serena pulled out her phone and texted him the list. “He needs at least a day of rest. All of this keeps hitting him and he can’t fully recover. I think this last bit just sent him over the edge. I can go and look into into the gang part. He needs to stay in bed and recover fully”

John coughed and said “I’m sorry you guys…I don’t know why I can’t seem to shake this off…normally I recover fast…”

John leaned on the pair, his legs not holding him well. He muttered “hit me like a ton of bricks…”

Serena looked over the meds and held up a couple of the bottles “these will be a start. But if we can’t break his fever I’ll need more supplies. I was worried about this…”

John nodded and took her hand, standing up but swayed a little. Serena followed Chas and said to Josh “make sure he doesn’t fall on the stairs. Last thing he needs is to break something”

Serena sighed and said “the stress of last night and now this must be taxing his immune system. We need to get him to his room and get him resting. Chas? Do you have any meds here?”

John was rubbing his face and muttered “I’m sorry Kay…I don’t know what’s wrong with me…”

John looked at them and said “if they are after me I can’t risk you all…” he swayed a little and Serena frowned. “Kay, is he warm?”
