John nodded and said “sounds like a plan to me. Let’s go brain storm with the others. I didn’t want to stress Drake out more with our talk…” Serena nodded and started to the living room when a pain hit her like a hot rod thru her body. She stumbled and her breath froze in her chest. She could only mutter “Bane…” then she fell forward.

Drake coughed and nodded. “Deal…sorry aunty Kay…it’s been a crappy few days…Fia always claims I have moms positive attitude to blame…”

John frowned but Serena said “it won’t be safe to leave her alone either. I don’t see any other way…” John rubbed his neck. “We need a way to plan this…”

Drake coughed and said “sorry…I never get attacks until this all started…I should have been more careful…” he looked at Fia and said “don’t let her go alone…”

Serena and John looked at Chas. Serena said “from what the kids can tell us, me not having Bane starts this mess. So, we are going to find him and then make sure the darkness never falls” John was thinking for a moment then said “but…maybe we don’t go just us. They won’t expect all of us showing ip would they? If this is papa midnight…then I need to be there to handle him. But I will need back up..a lot of it.”

Serena took it and charged it up as John ran back with another one he kept stored in the back. Serena placed it in his hands and put it to his mouth, helping him push the button. He took a few breathes and then his breathing calmed.

Serena was still, her mind going a mile a minute. John knew the look she had. It was the one he was hiding from Chas right now. They both wanted to go hunting. They wanted to end this. Serena stood and said “John…” John nodded and the pair went into the kitchen. John looked at her and said “Kay’s the target…” Serena nodded and said “and I’m the bullet. I need to get bane back. He shouldn’t be this long…something is wrong” John nodded and then said “Serena…your more then a vessel…”

Serena nodded slowly and said “maybe it’s time to find out what that more is…I will get Bane back.” John smirked and his eyes glowed. “Im coming too”

Serena moved to rest a hand on her sons face and muttered “my family had the genetics for asthma. We need to get him to calm down before he stops breathing”

Drake leaned on Fia, trying to breathe as he said “Bane is missing…his going to come for mom…Fia I can’t…” he lowered his head as his head spun. John cursed ran to back room saying “I think I have an inhaler somewhere!

Drake was shaking as the memory of what happened triggered his breathing to get sharp and he tried to get a hold of his chest. Serena stood up and said “Drake do you have asthma?” Drake stumbled back, his eyes glowing from stress. Serena looked at Chas and said “get fia. Now”

John nodded and said “alright. I’ll try and track him when we have a chance”
