So not sure how I’ll be the next little while. I lost my grandmother today. So anyone writing with me if I seem to vanish I didn’t mean to. Just a heads up.

Okay for all those I’m writing with, I’m not going to be on as much this week for I am on my own with the kids this week and I’m also trying to redo my office space. I promise I have not forgotten.

Bio

I am Megara Foxfire and I have been on the site for around 11 years now, old site then the new site. I am married to a wonderful man who makes me happy every day and I am a interior designer. I am at home with our daughter and son and I love to write to pass my time when I'm not cleaning my house or doing other wife things.

I love doing 1X1 role-plays and I love using thread or pms. I either go off my interest thread, which I have one that is more updated going or I have a list of characters that I am working on to base plots on. If you are interested in being partners just PM me and I'll talk with ya on ideas. I write causal, sometimes higher if the story grabs me.

I am up for anything as long as it doesn’t include kids or hurting kids or abusing them. I’m a mom so I don’t do well with it.

John ran down as Serena was trying to keep Drake cooled off. She looked at John as he took the stuff from Chas and then said “John…”

John was looking over the list and frowned a little. He reread it then said “all in the bowl. Just need pure water to finish it off…then I do the spell and hopefully it will work…”

Serena nodded her thanks and laid the ice towel on drakes head and the other on his core which she covered with ice as well. She turned her head and called “John! We have to hurry!”

Drake was shaking and muttered to himself as his skin was hot to the touch.

John nodded and said “Serena is a doctor but she can tell this might be more then she can do alone. Chas! I need the big potion bowl and the stand. This is going to be a wild one”

Serena turned and cursed, moving next to her niece and checking his pulse. “We need to hurry. This is hitting faster then before. Josh love? Can you fetch ice and towels?”

John was checking the list and said “just need everything else then we can start. Hopefully we aren’t too late…if his core fails, we will have a demon on our hands”

Serena looked the feather over and said “perfect. Sorry about that, I couldn’t find the nerve point before I had to pull” she set the feather in the bowl on the coffee table.

Drake was shaking on the couch now, his eyes dull and not their normal color. But Serena wasn’t facing him and couldn’t see.

John was walking out of the vault when he heard Kay and ran for his office. “Where was it?”

Serena nodded and moved to find a smaller feather that didn’t have much to do with flight. She found one and held it, finding the root and said “one two…” then she pulled out.

John was searching the vault, checking everything he could think it could be.

John nodded and said “I’ll check the vault, Chas check the bar and Kay love you check the study” he ran for the stairs as Serena was checking Drake again. “Josh, can you help me lay him down. Fia you sure about this?”

John nodded and said “we will need to be careful with your feather. Serena can you do it?” Serena looked up and nodded. “I think so. I can make it clean. I’ll need to research for a moment to be sure what I’m doing…”

Drake was white now and shaking as he muttered “knowing Manny…he wouldn’t leave you hanging where you have to deal with others of his kind…let’s look around…he would put it somewhere safe and…where John would put it…” Serena rested a hand on his forehead and cursed. “His burning up”

John took the book then saw the note and bent down to pick it up. He read it over and cursed softly “seems manny was more helpful then normal…I have the cure here. But…two things on the list won’t be easy” he held the note to Kay and Fia so they could see.

Drake was shaking as Serena rubbed his back and tried to think of something to make him feel even a little better. “What can we do?”

John smirked at Manny and said “I’m human…still growing…thank you”. When the room unfroze he looked at Chas and said “mind grabbing the address book? I think manny left us a hint to who can help us save Drake.”

Drake was shaking now and pale, clearly starting to feel worse.

Serena smiled and moved to kiss his cheek. “Thank you Josh…your the bet you know that?” Bane moved over to lay in front of them, looking clearly worn from his fight and captivity.

John turned and saw manny, then nodded. “Thank you for the advice Manny…and for all you do. I’m starting to see things aren’t as easy for you as it seems…thank you for protecting these kids in the future”
