Ash smiled as Bane went ahead to open the doors and she said “his been my friend since we were kids. He was a lone pup during the wars…my dad was a captain then. He found Bane and took him in. The local pack took Bane as one of their own and Bane claimed my father as his guardian. His been a good friend to me all these years…”

Bane led them into the pub which was empty apart from the staff getting ready for the day. Bane said “I’m making food for my friends. Don’t mind them” the wolf slipped into the back and Ash led Chi to a table out of the way. “So…why don’t you tell me about yourself? And how you ended up in my shop”

Dante frowned then said “did she…touch you without thinking? When she first woke up?”

Ana was shaking now as Alex was close to her. She said weakly “I couldn’t keep the blood down…I threw up…I couldn’t absorb the blood…”

Dante frowned and started to get up saying “it doesn’t take much blood to help her recover…unless she…” he looked at Damien and said “did something happen after she fed?”

Ana was holding her head, her eyes dull again as she said “don’t worry…it’s nothing…I’ll be fine…”

Ana said softly “I saw it when I had come back down the steps…easy to…miss…” her vision was blurry as she held her forehead for a moment and said “sorry…it’s…I think the lad must have seen…our foe before…that’s why he was…” she lowered her head, her head swimming.

Dante sat up and said “Ana? My lady are you alright?”

Dante sighed as Ana looked up weakly and said “have we checked the underground? I remember there was a trap door on the stage”

They listened closely and Dante said “were we able to find the brother of the young man we were talking to?”

Duke Vale seemed to have fallen asleep now with Dante awake and alright. Dante watched his brother and muttered “I thought…he was still pissed at me…”

Ana smiled weakly at Alex and said “we are. Mostly alright now I think…can you fill us in on what we have been…missing?” She swayed a step and grabbed the bed frame behind her, holding her head.

John looked down at her and said “no love you stayed…wait, are you meaning mentally? What did you see?” Bane tried to get up, worry on his face as he made his way over to the pair. “Ms Kay?”

John said “I’ll get the details for you when you get back Chas. Take care of Serena for us. Hurry back here…” when he hung up he looked at Bane and asked “is she okay?” Bane was rubbing his face and said “I’m not sure…but she’s alive so that’s something…”

Drake was shaking against Fia, holding her hand as he fought to get a grip.

Lucifer moved over to the bar set up and was digging around for something. “I think I have smelling salts somewhere…Maze didn’t we use that salt for the drinks last weekend?”

Dante was still being pinned by his brother and said “guys…I need…I think he passed out on me…and it’s a little hard to breath”
